{Actually this is the second last chapter lol I'll wrap it up in the next chapter <3}

[sorry it took so long i had exams but at least i can say i never have to sit through another business class in my life]

George was escorted into a large room by a police officer. The room had a desk, two chairs and a lamp.

"Have a seat" the police officer told him, pointing to the chair closest to where they were standing. George sat down without question.

The police officer left the room and he noticed the large camera in the corner of the room. He suppressed a laugh when he remembered that one incident with the security camera. Hey, at least they figured out the camera didn't have audio right?

George was alone for a few minutes until a man with short brown hair and brown eyes walked in and shook his hand.

"George is it? I'm officer Sapnap. I just have a few questions" Sapnap explained, taking the seat opposite George.

"So George, what exactly were you doing at the meat factory?" Sapnap asked, taking a small notebook and pen out of his pocket.

"This sounds crazy but I promise, Dream and I are spies. We were trying to figure out what kind of meat was being produced there. We were sent on a mission, we had nothing to do with it" George explained.

"Yeah your friend said that too, honestly I was just making sure your stories checked out" Sapnap revealed.

"Oh, so why were you talking for so long?" George asked.

"We were having a conversation, he's pretty funny. Anyway you guys are free to go" Sapnap replied, standing up and escorting George back to Dream's cell. He unlocked the door and motioned for Dream to follow. Sapnap brought them to the door of the building.

"Sorry for the misunderstanding. It was great meeting you guys by the way, see you around" Sapnap admitted. "Oh before you guys go, do either of you have Instagram or something? I feel like we'd be good friends"

Dream and George both gave him their socials and left.

They waved goodbye to him as they walked out and called a taxi to bring them back to the factory since Dream's car was still there.

Once they arrived back at the factory, they paid the taxi driver and got back into Dream's car. The door into the factory was still open and there seemed to be noise inside the factory.

"Should we check it out?" Dream asked, already walking over to check.

"We probably shouldn't, but whatever then" George replied, following him.

They stepped inside slowly, peering in the doorway to see what was happening. At the back of the factory there were around three guys whispering to each other, but as the conversation was getting heated, they gradually got louder.

"They took those two random employees instead of us!" One of them whispered.

As George and Dream crept closer they recognised one of them as Quackity.

"So? At least it wasn't us!" The other man said.

"They're going to investigate the restaurant regardless. I own it, I'm going down no matter what" Quackity argued.

"True but I mean, this was your idea" The other man in the group responded.

"I'm aware dipshit. So what now huh?" Quackity questioned.

At that moment George accidentally stood on Dream's toe as they were quietly attempting to hide behind a machine. Dream yelped quietly.

Quackity and the two other men immediately turned around.

"Who's there?" They yelled.

Dream looked at George with wide eyes. He looked away for a moment as if he was deciding something, then stood out for them to see.

"It's just me. Uh- Don't worry I- um- I escaped from jail and I'm here to help us all escape" Dream said, trying to sound convincing.

He wasn't very convincing, but it seemed to work.

"Oh- Why would you help us though?" Quackity asked, squinting his eyes suspiciously.

"Because I want to join. We could run the restaurant together, I guarantee we'll never get caught" Dream informed them.

George was extremely confused. This was obviously one of Dream's plans, but how he was going achieve this, George didn't know.

"I guess you'd be useful. Where's your friend? What was his name? John or Greg or something, I don't remember" Quackity inquired.

"Oh he's still in jail. He wouldn't come with me. He's a goody two shoes I guess. But don't worry he won't tell anyone I escaped" Dream insisted.

Even though George had not done that, he still took offence to it and would make sure to bring it up later.

"Alright then, come with us. I'll drive us to our new location. We've got to leave the state though" Quackity informed him, making his way over. George quickly ducked under a machine out of sight, so he could only see Dream's head.

Quackity and the men left, expecting Dream to follow. Dream shot George a quick look before following them.

George waited until he heard the van leaving before moving out from under the machine. He wasn't sure what to do. What if he was supposed to jump out and attack but he didn't? Dream was gone now and what was he supposed to do about it?

George was in a full blown panic now. He really had no idea what to do. He had no idea where Dream was going or how to get him back. Did Dream have his own plan? He was so worried he had to sit down. He felt lightheaded.

The only thought he had was to text Sapnap and ask for his help.

Hey George texted.

Wassup? Sapnap replied.

I know we just met but do you remember the blonde man you just interviewed? Yeah he's been kidnapped, kind of George told him.

Oh... So you want help finding him? Sapnap asked.

Yeah pretty much

Sweet. Where are you?

George gave him the location and Sapnap told him he'd be there shortly. At least George wasn't trying to find him alone.

Sapnap arrived after around ten minutes.

"So what do you have so far? What even happened?" Sapnap asked.

"Basically the owner of the restaurant Quackity, who organised this whole production of meat, whatever meat it is, caught us listening to their conversation and Dream gave himself up, I guess to save me. Whatever happened he's gone now. His car is here and I'm pretty sure his phone is on the front seat. That's all we have" George explained.

"That's not a lot to work with. If I'm being honest, I have no idea what to do" Sapnap confessed.

George nodded and walked over to Dream's car that had been abandoned when they were briefly arrested. He looked in the window but didn't seem to see Dream's phone. Maybe Dream did have it with him.

"Sapnap we might have something. Dream's phone isn't there" George declared.

"That's great! So why hasn't he texted yet?" Sapnap asked.

"I don't know. They must be watching over him or something, making sure he's actually on their side" George replied. "He's pretty smart, he'll figure out something."

"What do we do until then?" Sapnap asked again.

"We'll taxi back to my place and get my car, otherwise it'll be too expensive to follow him" George observed.

"Great idea. Let's go" Sapnap said.

They ordered a taxi and went back to George's house. They decided to go inside for a while until they got a message from Dream. They hoped he'd message at least.

They talked to each other for a while, although it was hard to hold a conversation with George since his eyes were glued to his phone. He realised this plan was incredibly bad. Dream mightn't even have his phone, and even if he did he wasn't going to be able to tell them where he was.

George was starting to go back into his panicked state. Sapnap tried to avoid this by making conversation.

"So, what is Dream to you? You seem very worried over him" Sapnap asked.

"Oh well- I, It's- It's complicated, I"- George stuttered.

"Friends with benefits?" Sapnap said, smirking.

"I guess, but it's more than that. Nothing official. As I said it's complicated" George muttered.

"Don't worry, we'll get your unofficial man back" Sapnap reassured him. They both laughed.

They waited around for a while longer, Sapnap desperately trying to distract George from the anxiety he was feeling before his blood pressure killed him before they could reunite anyway.

After what felt like forever, George got a notification. He got such a fright he almost threw his phone to the ceiling. He had a text from an unknown number.

A good afternoon to you. Very nice weather today. I was wondering if you delivered Domino's pizzas to Hotels? Only if you can, of course. Tell me, can I get Everything on the pizza except Lentils. Of course, no pineapple either. Hot please. I would greatly appreciate it. Order done. i need it in less than 318 minutes.

That's either some random 19th century newspaper I accidentally subscribed to, or it's Dream undercover. What a dumbass" George laughed, although he was greatly relieved. So what did the message mean?

Sapnap appeared at his shoulder, reading the text.

"Uh- Is that how he normally texts or?" Sapnap asked.

"No theres definitely a hidden message. I think he used one of their phones to pretend to order pizza" George explained.

"He made it fairly obvious something was up. If I received that message as a pizza guy I'd leave them on read" Sapnap declared.

George laughed. "We need to decode it though, what could it be?"

They looked at it for a while before George noticed the random capital letters in the sentence. He put them together.

"Capital A, V, I, D, H, O, T, E, L, O, H, I, O" George spelled out.

"Avidhotelohio?" Sapnap questioned. "What is that?"

"Wait say it slowly. Avid....Hotel.....Ohio. Put that into google maps and see if it's there" George told Sapnap.

Sapnap typed it into google maps and his eyes widened. "It's here!" he exclaimed.

George and Sapnap looked at each other and immediately ran out to George's car. They put the location into google maps. This was going to take a while. Hopefully Dream, Quackity and the other men would stay there for a while.

George drove as fast as he could, hoping he wouldn't be put in jail for speeding. Normally he was great and very careful at driving, but today was an emergency.

They had been on the road for a few hours and had received no further texts from Dream. George hoped he was still okay. At least he knew where he was.

"Half an hour left" Sapnap said, looking at google maps.

"At the end of the text Dream said to deliver it in less than 318 minutes, do you think that's his room number?" George asked.

"Yes definitely. How are we going to do it once we get there?" Sapnap responded.

"I'm not sure. Should we pretend to be delivering pizza and then try and take Dream? Or is that too risky?" George questioned.

"Let's try that, I don't know what else we would do" Sapnap admitted.

They arrived at the hotel, George parking his car a few blocks away. They walked quickly into the hotel, pretending they had a room there already so that nobody questioned them.

They took the elevator to the third floor, running down the hall to 318.

George inhaled deeply. "Be ready" he told Sapnap. He knocked on the door and braced himself.

There was no response. Either nobody was there or there was a reason they weren't answering.

"Should we break the door down?" Sapnap asked.

"No, I'm literally a spy, I know how to get into hotel rooms. Do you have a credit card?" George questioned.

Sapnap took out his wallet and handed George his credit card.

George swiped it between the door frame and the handle, pushing the handle at the same time. After a while the door opened. Luckily the key chain wasn't on. Hotel doors aren't very secure anyway.

Sapnap and George quickly walked in. They looked around, slowly opening all the doors. They realised that no one was there. There were definitely people using this room though, as there was a phone, keys and a wallet on the desk.

"They must be gone somewhere" George realised.

"Yeah. Should we stay in here and hide or wait for them outside?" Sapnap asked.

"Let's wait outside. It's too risky to stay here" George responded.

They left the room again, slowly clicking the door shut behind them. Luckily the lock wasn't
broken.

"That was a waste of time" Sapnap said.

"You're telling me. We've got bigger problems though. Where is Dream?" George asked.

"I don't know. They're probably just out right now doing something. Or we could have read something wrong. Maybe that wasn't even him" Sapnap pointed out.

"I'm just confused. I'm also worried. What happened to him?" George wondered.

Sapnap shrugged. He looked like he was thinking. They stood in silence for a few minutes until George spoke.

"What should we do?" he asked.

"What if we texted Dream to ask but like, in code?" Sapnap wondered.

"Good idea. What do we say?" George asked, taking out his phone.

"Here give it to me" Sapnap demanded. George handed him the phone and he began texting.

I'm here with the pizza. There doesn't seem to be anyone here.

"What kind of dumbass conversation is this? Who the fuck types like this, honestly" Sapnap complained.

"It's fine, at least we're getting somewhere. Let's hope he responds" George stated.

George took back his phone and suggested to Sapnap to hide somewhere near the front entrance. They had to make sure Quackity didn't see them as he would recognise George from the restaurant.

They couldn't figure out where to hide as the lobby was fairly visible from all angles. They settled for the staircase since there was a door that they could see out leading into it and they could hide behind the wall. Nobody would take the stairs anyway.

They were waiting for about ten minutes when George's phone sounded. He whipped it out and saw it was from the same number from earlier.

Yeah sorry bro we're out getting groceries. Make sure the pizza stays hot.

"I think Quackity took the phone back" George admitted.

Sapnap laughed. "Probably. At least we know what's happening. I guess we just wait then"

They waited by the stairs for what felt like an hour, laughing and making stupid jokes. George didn't have time to worry.

Sapnap glanced out of the door to check for Dream or Quackity and gasped.

"They're coming this way!" Sapnap whisper yelled, dashing up the stairs. George quickly ran after him.

They ran up three flights of stairs, both of them extremely out of breath. They panted as they looked for somewhere to hide. They settled on hiding around a corner on the opposite side of the hall.

"Who takes the stairs? Elevators were invented for a reason" George whispered.

(It pains me once again to write elevator instead of a lift lol)

"I really don't know. I feel like Dream would be one of those dads who forces the entire family to take the stairs for exercise, maybe that's what happened" Sapnap joked.

They laughed for a moment before hearing footsteps and immediately stopping.

"We're here!" a voice announced.

"That's Dream" George said, recognising his voice.

"Why did we have to take the goddamn stairs?" another annoyed voice complained.

"And that's Quackity" George said.

"Because it's good exercise. Now come on" Dream spoke, unlocking the room's door.

George rolled his eyes. Dream managed to annoy him even when he wasn't talking directly to him. George found it cute though.

George and Sapnap waited a while before peeking around the corner. When they were sure the coast was clear they walked out.

George had a plan which he explained to Sapnap. They needed to move quickly. First of all, they needed pizza. If they ordered it as a takeaway from the restaurant in the hotel, it would come in a box. Sapnap would send it to their door since none of them knew him except for Dream. If it was Dream who answered the door, Sapnap would hand him a note that he had written telling him to come to the stairs.

They hoped that's how it would play out. If not, well, they'd figure it out.

They quickly rushed to the restaurant to order pizza. It seemed to be taking forever. George was impatiently tapping his foot while the pizza was being cooked while Sapnap was tapping his fingers on a nearby table. He also made sure to write the note for Dream to tell him to meet them on the stairs at midnight.

After what felt like years, the pizza was ready. George hid a few doors down while Sapnap knocked on Dream's hotel room door. George held his breath as the door swung open.

To his relief, Dream answered the door. He could barely see him from the angle he was at, and knew Dream couldn't see him. Dream looked extremely confused until he understood what was happening. He played along with the conversation. As he handed Sapnap the money for the pizza, Sapnap slid him the note. Dream quickly put it in his pocket.

George wished he could jump out and run into Dream's arms. It sounded stupid but he just wanted a hug. He wanted to make sure Dream was okay. He wished he could make it okay.

George knew he had to stay put. He was disappointed when Dream shut the door and suddenly he was out of sight.

Sapnap knocked him out of his thoughts by grabbing his arms and pulling him down the hall.

"Quickly" Sapnap muttered. "We have to make sure nobody checks to see who delivered it"

They walked back to the staircase. Luckily they could just sit there for a while since they weren't visible to anyone from in there.

"So do we just stay here for the night?" George asked.

"I have money with me, we might be able to get a room? Only if you want" Sapnap replied.

"Uh yeah sure, I wouldn't mind if you're sure" George told him.

They walked to reception to look for available rooms. Luckily they had one room on the second floor.

"Is that a double bed?" George asked the receptionist worriedly.

"No that is two single beds sir" the receptionist answered him with a smile.

George sighed with relief.

"Why is that such a big problem?" Sapnap laughed.

"You don't want to know what happened last time" George answered him, turning away.

Sapnap decided not to question it.

They went up to their room and ordered a pizza. They ate it and then sat watching tv for a while, laughing and chatting with each other. They didn't even realise the time until George's eyes widened looking at his phone.

"It's already past midnight! We have to go Sapnap, quickly" George exclaimed, jumping out of his chair.

They exited their room quietly, sneaking down the hall to the stairs.

Dream was already there waiting. He beamed when he saw George, opening his arms for a hug. George ran into him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you" George confessed, his voice muffled by Dream's shirt.

"I missed you too love but please, get off of my toe" Dream chuckled.

George and Sapnap laughed.

"So what's happening with you?" Sapnap asked Dream.

"They're taking me to Connecticut," Dream started. "I can't leave with you guys now or they'll know and come looking for me. Follow us to Connecticut, I'll text you an exact address once I get there. Come up with a plan. It's the only way to stop them"

George and Sapnap nodded in agreement.

"We'll think of something, don't worry. Come back to our room for a while" George assured
