~Chapter 3~

"Odd!" Jenny screamed as she saw the horrifying crack coming towards her instead.

"HELP!"

Too late, Jenny fell into the crack.

"NO!" Odd shouted and tried to reach below, thankfully Jim grabbed him before he could fall into the crack.

"Sorry kid, come on. We need to go!" As soon as Jim said that, the ground rumbled again.

Ceiling lights started to fall, tables and chairs started to topple. Everything was chaotic.

"But-"

"No buts! Let's go!"

Odd was literally dragged out of the gym.

•••••Back to Jeremy and gang•••••

"What?" Jeremy said as something blinked on the screen.

"What's up Jeremy?" Ulrich asked, slicing a few Krabs along the way.

Yumi threw her fan towards a Hornet and killed it. Then, with a swift turn, she grabbed her fan and blocked another Hornet's shot.

"Jenny she..." Jeremy couldn't believe his eyes.

The computer was acting as if it had a mind of its own.

It's virtualizing Jenny into Lyoko.

"Guys! Jenny is being virtualized!" Jeremy immediately shouted.

"What?! How?" Yumi did a cart wheel and managed to dodge a Megatank's laser.

"I-i don't know. But she's being virtualized and I can't do anything to stop it." Jeremy stared at the screen in complete shock.

Then it clicked, it must be X.A.N.A. But how?

"Then where is she?" Yumi asked, panting.

"She's near the activated tower! Hurry!" Jeremy exclaimed and attempted to contact Odd.

He drummed his fingers against the table impatiently, "Come on... Pick up."

Odd didn't answer.

"Ugh!" Jeremy led out a frustrated sigh.

"Shoot!" Ulrich got hit by a Krab's laser.

Jeremy pushed his glasses up, "Ulrich, watch it! 3 more hits and you're a goner."

"Got it." Ulrich said and sprinted towards a nearby boulder to hide.

"She's there!" Aelita shouted, grabbing everyone's attention.

Everyone turned around and saw Jenny trapped in some sort of purple bubble, floating in mid-air. Heavily guarded by X.A.N.A's mobs.

"You have got to be kidding me." Yumi said.

"Okay, Aelita, we'll distract them. Then you go and save the damsel in distress over there." Ulrich said and looked at Yumi for approval.

Everyone nodded.

Yumi and Ulrich dashed straight towards the mobs.

The Megatanks locked on Ulrich and rolled towards him. When the three of them surrounded Ulrich, they exposed their eyes, getting ready to shoot Ulrich.

"Haha. Fat chance." Ulrich jumped up, missing the vertical lasers that the Megatanks released.

Then, using his sword and sliced two of the Megatanks.

"Two down, one more to go." He whispered to himself as he lands on the ground.

Yumi threw both of her fans towards the creepers as she ran from boulder to boulder.

She took a small breath and peeked over the boulder, raising both her hands up to catch her pink fans.

"Yes! Two more." Yumi smiled and ran in the opposite direction of Aelita in attempt to capture the mobs' attention.

Aelita sprinted through the field, stretched out her hand to reach into the weird purple-like bubble.

"Ouch!" Aelita jumped back from the electric current that went through her body.

"Aelita! Be careful! That thing's dangerous!" Jeremy warned through the mic.

"It's okay Jeremy, i'm fine." Aelita said as she shook her hand. "There must be a way through this."

"Aelita watch out!" Yumi called out.

Aelita turned around, a laser shot just inches away from her face shot pass her.

She sighed in relief.

"Okay, monster. Let's dance." Aelita said and wings sprouted out from her back.

Flying in the air, she managed to dodge the hits that the Krabs tried to do.

"Aelita! Go! I'll settle this." Ulrich said and surprise-jump the Krabs.

Aelita turned back to Jenny, she circled around the bubble and spotted a crack.

"What's this?" Aelita flew down to the bubble, analyzing the small crack.

She pried the bubble open and pulled Jenny out before the bubble explode.

"Bring Jenny in the tower Aelita. Mobs are approaching as we speak." Jeremy said.

"Okay." Aelita replied and carried Jenny in.

She gently place Jenny down on the floor.

*DRRANG*

"Huh?" Aelita looked up from her screen then saw everything in the tower becoming white.

She looked back to the screen and saw the code, "Lyoko" already typed out.

"What?" Aelita whispered to herself then looked at Jenny.

Jenny suddenly got up and looked at Aelita with her purple eyes.

Hi everyone! Finally, a new chapter! Woohooo! We're finally getting into the story. Isn't this exciting? The activated tower went weird hahahah. xD
This is quite short, i know. But, i hope everyone enjoyed it nonetheless. :)
