~Chapter 6~

"AH!" Odd screamed. "Where's Jenny? Where is she?!"

He crawled on the floor, using only his hands to navigate around the place. He grabbed a hand and knew that it was Jenny's even though he had never held her hand before.

This is chemistry guys. Or fate? You choose! (Comment on what you'll call this!)

"The lights' back." Aelita mumbled as Odd pulled Jenny up.

"Odd! Aelita! I saw something terrible." Jenny said, burying her face into Odd's chest.

"What did you see?" Aelita asked.

"I saw you dead." Jenny looked at Aelita, tears welled up in her eyes.

Aelita slowly backed away. She couldn't understand what Jenny said.

Dead? Aelita thought to herself.

"It's impossible! Did you mean Aelita dying in Lyoko? Jenny, if she dies here, she'll come back to our world." Jeremy explained.

"No! Jeremy, she died in the real world. I don't know how but I saw her dead... and it looked horrible." Jenny's tears fell out, she covered her face with her hands trying to hide how ugly she looked right now.

Odd knelt down and pulled her hands away, wiped her tears and said, "It's going to be fine. We'll all protect Aelita. She won't die. It's okay."

Aelita walked towards Jenny and did the same, "It's going to be alright. Not only do I have Odd's protection, I have Ulrich, Yumi, Jeremy and you. Shh... Don't cry."

Even though Aelita convinced Jenny that she'll be fine. She can't convince herself that she's safe from harm.

Aelita's scared too. But she didn't want to admit it.

Jenny looked up, "Me protecting you?"

"Yes! You're part of us now!" Aelita said cheerfully.

"I... Thank you!" Jenny squeezed Aelita tight.

Odd grinned at that sight, seeing Jenny happy, made him happy too.

"Okay, Jenny... I want to test something out." Aelita said while pulling away from the hug "Could you put your hand on this screen tab?"

"Erm... Okay." Jenny stood up and placed her hand on the floating screen.

Suddenly, there were several codes that appeared on it. More screen tabs started to show, the monsters of XANA, Aelita's father and... a little girl with black hair.

"Huh?" Aelita said.

She tapped on the particular screen with the little girl in it.

"It's a video..." Jenny said.

Everyone looked at each other and pressed the "play" button.

*Video starts*

"Here... She'll be safe." Aelita's father, Franz Hopper whispered.

He placed a sleeping little girl with black short hair into the scanner.

"Are you sure it's safe for her?" Aelita's mother, Anthea Schaeffer.

Her father nodded, "I'll be by the computer." And left the room.

"Wilhemina, I love you." Anthea kissed the little girl's forehead, tears rolling down her cheeks.

*Video ends*

"Wilhemina? That sounds like a nice name... Who is she?" Jenny looked at Aelita.

"I don't know. My father didn't tell me I had a sister..." Aelita looked at the screen, loss at words.

"That's your parents?" Jenny said, shocked.

"Yup, that's her parents." Odd told Jenny.

The room was silent for a minute.

"There must be more videos. I need more. This can't be the only one." Aelita started to go frenzy with all the screen tabs.

"Could this sister be XANA?" Odd asked, freezing Aelita's movements.

"What? XANA?" Jeremy said.

Aelita ran out of the tower without a word and saw that the once destroyed flooring outside is now normal.

Everyone chased after her.

"Odd. XANA might be my sister! She must be trying to contact me! Maybe this time it isnt XANA! It could be my sister, Wilhemina..." Aelita got extremely excited.

Aelita thought that if it was XANA, she would've never made the flooring back to normal. It's impossible, XANA isn't a saint. Besides, XANA was destroyed. The percentage of this presumably "XANA" might be her sister.

"It doesn't make sense Aelita! Explain to me why was Jenny captured? Why would your sister try to kill everyone at the school? And the monsters? They've increased lately if you haven't noticed." Jeremy spoke.

"No! No! Jeremy this makes complete sense. She tried to get Jenny because she knew that it was impossible for me to be captured. So, her only way was to use Jenny as a way of contacting us." Aelita smiled, "The increase in the mobs were to ensure that my sister can transfer whatever she needed to Jenny to reach out to me!"

As much as Jeremy wanted to believe Aelita, his gut was telling him otherwise.

"Aelita... I don't think "XANA" is your sister..." Jeremy tried to reason with Aelita.

"Same here. I don't think "XANA" is your sister. I know I said that "XANA" could be your sister, but thinking about it now... It just doesn't feel right." Odd made it clear that he was standing on Jeremy's side.

This ticked Aelita off.

"Fine! Go ahead and don't believe me! I will prove it to all of you!" Aelita crossed her arms.

Jenny's lips parted slightly.

After a long pause of silence,

"Jeremy, please de-virtualize us." Jenny said finally.

Everyone got out of the scanners and Aelita stormed off without a word.

Odd wanted to call out to Aelita but Jenny stopped him.

"Leave her be."

Odd looked at Jenny and then at Aelita and then back at Jenny.

"Okay."

"Let's go find Jeremy." Jenny said.

Isn't this mysterious? Who exactly is that little girl with black hair? Is it really true that "XANA" is Aelita's sister that's trying to contact Aelita or it's just some wicked plan? OR Aelita's long lost sister someone else?
