~Chapter 2~

"I'll just quickly pull the switch, check everything and then we can go back." Jeremy said and everyone nodded in agreement.

*BOOM*

Ulrich jumped at the loud and foreign sound, "Er... what was that?"

Everyone heads turned back and surprise, surpirse, it was none other than Sissi.

You could feel all the eye rolls going on in the factory when they saw Sissi.

"Sissi why are you always poking your long nose into our business?" Jeremy asked while crossing his arms and everyone else did the same.

"I do not!" Sissi crossed her arms furiously.

"I think she's delusional." Jeremy says while doing this circling thing with his index finger.

Sissi led out an annoyingly high-pitched huff.

"Sissi, just leave." Yumi said and folded her arms.

"Why should I listen to a loser like you?" Sissi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Oh my gosh! Just leave already. This is harassment." Ulrich said and rested his arm on Jeremy's shoulder.

"Hey! You! All of you, watch out!" Sissi turned around and stomped away.

Everyone started laughing again.

"Gosh..." Aelita said while wiping a tear away, "It's never a bore when Sissi's around."

After making final checks that Sissi was gone for good, everyone went back to running towards the factory.

•••••Back to Jenny and Odd•••••

"This is the world's most disgusting vending machine! Try the coffee, it's the best!" Odd inserted a coin in and soon, a disgusting brown muck started to flow out.

"Is that... really coffee?" Jenny asked while leaning closer towards the coffee, like she was inspecting it to make sure it's not poisonous.

"Yes, and it's the worst!" Odd exclaimed with a smile and then passed the drink to Jenny, "Come on! If you don't drink this, you won't be an official member of this school."

Jenny looked at Odd with the "are you serious?" look and looked at the horrible coffee.

She took a deep breath and swallowed the coffee in one gulp.

"Pah!" Jenny spitted, cringing her nose from the disgusting taste of the coffee.

"Congratulations! You're now an official member of this school!" Odd patted Jenny's back and shot his cheerful smile.

*Rumble* Rumble*

"What the..?" Odd said as the ground began to shake even harder.

"Earthquake?" Jenny whispered while looking at Odd, frightened.

Odd looked around to find a place to duck under.

"There!" He shouted and pulled Jenny along with him.

In his gut, he knew it wasn't earthquake. It was...

•••••Jeremy and gang•••••

"X.A.N.A" Jeremy said as the computer flashed on.

"What? X.A.N.A's not dead?" Yumi asked.

"I thought we shut him down!" Ulrich said, shaking his head in disbelief.

Aelita shook her head along with Ulrich. She thought it was her father, but it was just another attack.

"Okay, all of you know the rules. Take the elevator! We're going back to Lyoko." Jeremy said and he put his headphones on.

Everyone ran into the elevator. Yumi hit the button and they went down to the transportation room.

As soon as when everyone got into their positions, Jeremy started typing in the codes.

"Yumi, scan. Ulrich scan. Aelita scan. Virtualisation." Jeremy hit the "enter" key.

"We're here, Jeremy." Yumi said looking around Lyoko.

Everything was just like the same as before. They were at the forested area, all of them were looking for an activated tower.

*Rumble* *Rumble*

"Woah!" Jeremy said through the mic.

"Jeremy, are you okay?" Aelita asked.

"I'm fine! I think it's X.A.N.A. The ground was shaking. I checked the news, the entire school is shaking! Guys, hurry up. I don't think X.A.N.A's weak anymore, I think he's gotten even stronger than before." Jeremy pushed his spectacles up and dialed Odd.

"Odd? Are you okay?" Jeremy asked, still trying to check out on more info. of the recent shaking.

"I'm fine, well, we're fine. Jenny's with me. Is this... another attack?" Odd said as he held onto the table's legs after another turbulence.

"Yes. Give me a second Odd... Aelita, there's an activated tower to the North." Jeremy said while checking his screen, "Be careful guys, monsters are coming your way."

"Got it, Einstein." The three of them said in unison.

"Okay Odd, I just got some info. on the so called "earthquake". I've just checked the surveillance cameras around the school, the "earthquake" seems to be erupting only from the borders of the school. It's not going anywhere else." Jeremy said and scratched his head.

Wouldn't X.A.N.A want to control the entire country? Why just the school?

"Huh?" Jeremy gasped as he spot a crack thats moving towards where Odd and Jenny is, "Odd! There's a huge crack coming your way! I think X.A.N.A wants to get you!"

"What? That's great! Just when I was getting comfortable around here..." Odd grumbled and hung up.

"Er... Odd?" Jenny tugged Odd's sleeve and pointed at the huge crack that's coming their way.

Odd saw the crack and held Jenny's hand.

"Do you trust me?" Odd asked Jenny sincerely.

"What?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes..."

"Then, let's go!" Odd shouted and dashed right out of their table and he headed towards the gym.

"Odd, are you crazy?!" Jenny screamed, in a state of shock.

"I am. But, trust me." Odd assured Jenny and they ran into the gym.

The crack followed them there and Odd pushed Jenny to the other side of the gym, thinking that it would follow him instead of Jenny.

"Odd!" Jenny screamed as she saw the horrifying crack coming towards her instead.

"HELP!"

I've finally posted another chapter! Im horribly sorry that it took so long! But hey, this is quite a long chapter!
