(so for the story I will be using the plot of a few episodes. Sorta like fillers but also part of the story too)

Akiko's pov

Aelita and I had gotten ready for gym however as I got dressed I was still yawning feeling tired still. How can an adult expect children to be physically active in the morning? It makes no sense to me; however, I don't make the rules. We got together with Jeremy and all three of us proceeded to the rest of our group that stayed at the dorm. Jeremy knocked on the door and the person to answer was Ulrich dressed in his gym clothes.

"Where's odd?" Aelita asked.

"Let me guess, sleeping?" Jeremy asked.

Ulrich stepped aside and we all walked in. Odd was sprawled out on his bed. His hair a complete mess and his blanket spilled over the edge of the bed. Half of it on the bed while half of it was on the floor. I chuckled slightly at his appearance but everyone else seemed annoyed.

"Is it morning already...why are you all dressed like that?" Odd mumbled groggily.

"Let your eyes adjust. It'll come to you." Ulrich told him.

"Oh gym class..I'm way to tired from galactic battle.."

"Jim won't buy that excuse Odd."

"Aelita make up a legitimate excuse for me will you so I can stay here and sleep."

"Me? What should I tell Jim? Thanks a lot, Odd."

Odd grumbled something we couldn't quite understand and before we knew it in a matter of seconds he had fallen back asleep. I sweat dropped and the four of us looked at each other. I shrugged, and the others walked out, and I followed.

In gym class Jim was taking attendance. Reaching Odd's name he called out a couple times getting no answer. With no answer he began getting irritated with the lack of response. I glanced over at Aelita seeing her thinking.

"Uh Odd wasn't feeling well so he went to the infirmary." She told him

"Well when you aren't feeling well the thing you should do is go to the infirmary." Jim responded and did the rest of role call.

We were shown how to jump over this...stick like thing and land on a soft mattress. However, Jim ended up throwing out his back and had to go the infirmary. After he did that we were assigned to go to the library and study. I was reading a history book, but my concentration was broken when the door was open. I peered over to see a teacher walk in and over to our group.

"Aelita you're wanted in the principal's office." The teacher said and Aelita walked out with him.

"I guess Jim found out about Odd." Ulrich said.

"And thanks to Odd Aelita got in trouble." Jeremy put in.

I frowned at this reason and let out a small sigh at this.

'I have bad feeling that this is just going to be a dreadful day today.'

~FF to lunch~

I got my tray with Aelita and once we got to the table where everyone else was. I sat down next to her and the tension was so thick. As what I have heard 'the tension is so thick you could cut it with knife.'

"Seem we got a cold war on our hands." Yumi commented.

"Cold war?" I asked.

"It's when there are two people who hate each other."

"I don't hate Odd I am just irritated with him. Thanks to him I got detention!" Aelita told the rest of the group.

"If you came up with a better excuse than me going to the infirmary like I had a family emergency then I wouldn't have gotten detention either!" Odd argued.

"Um..how about we try and eat our lunch? The food smells really good." I added.

"If you weren't such a lazy and selfish loser then I wouldn't have gotten in trouble!" Aelita argued back

"If you were more creative and smart then maybe I wouldn't have gotten in trouble either! Your excuse was one we have used many times before to get out of class. I mean come on something more original would have been better!" Odd said.

Yumi patted my back sympathetically as my attempt to try and change the subject failed

"You two we have work to do and with any of us fighting Xana gets an upper edge. We have to do so much work like using the skid more." Jeremy added.

"And exploring the network using it." Ulrich said.

"Not just that but the sphere you all came across before." Jeremy added in.

"Sphere?" I asked.

"Before we found you we came across a huge sphere while exploring the network. However, they didn't get a chance to explore it, but that is going to change tonight."

"Large sphere..I wonder if Xana made it recently like some of the new monsters I haven't seen before."

"Do you have an idea on when you were put in that guardian?"

"I don't..time just felt like it went by so fast some days and others really slow. Especially when I was trapped in that sphere.."

"Even before William got captured by Xana these new creatures were created however we haven't had a chance to explore the digital sea until now. We wanted to see if it was possible to locate William in the digital sea and bring him home. I have been working on the program for a long time to try and bring him back to us."

"I see..I'm sure you'll be able to find something. Perhaps there is something in the volcano replica."

"Volcano replica?"

"Yeah. I have only been there a few times for training but only a few times no more. He didn't like me exploring it very much..Now that I think about it there is a possibility the data you need could be there."

"Maybe that sphere is the replica." Yumi commented.

"All the more reason for Odd and Aelita to kiss and make up. If the data to bring William is on the sphere we all need to corporate. You two need to have made up by tonight." Jeremy said looking at Odd and Aelita.

I took a bite of my food as I eyed everyone in the group. Odd was eating his food with his eyes narrowed. I gazed over to Aelita who had her nose up, arms folded, and eyes closed. I frowned after swallowing while the rest of the group that wasn't in the disagreement just let out sighs.

~The factory~

After getting virtualized the five of us made it to sector 5 to where the skid was at. Slowly walking into the area where it was I looked over at it in awe.

"Wow! That is so cool!" I exclaimed.

"Thanks. Aelita and I worked on it for days. It was all worth it though." Jeremy put in.

"Yeah sleep deprivation and working with a loser. It was totally worth it." Odd said sarcastically.

"Odd would you knock it off." I snapped.

"Thank you, Akiko." Aelita said.

"Aelita. I love you and all, but you and Odd should put this aside. The fighting is ridiculous."

"Not until that idiot apologizes."

"I don't apologize to jerks." Odd commented.

"Okay you two that's enough. Now energize." Jeremy said.

I ended up in this weird spot looking out of a window.

"Woah where am I?" I asked.

"In one of the pods. Ulrich, Odd and I are in the others." Yumi replied.

"This is so cool! I'm excited now!"

The skid began to move and suddenly we were in this ocean like thing. It was all blue with these white poles.

"We are in the network Jeremy." Aelita spoke up.

"Alright I'm sending you the coordinates of where the sphere that you found is located at." Jeremy told us.

"I received them Jeremy and we will proceed to it." Aelita responded back.

My eyes traveled around and I turned my head looking at the view. It was dark, but there was enough light from the poles that stuck out that I was able to see.

"It's so beautiful.." I mumbled.

"It sure is." Yumi agreed.

After a while of drifting the ski rotated and we went through this tunnel that was pink and red. It went by so quickly that we ended up back in the network in a couple of seconds. After Aelita turned the lights on the skid we came upon this large sphere looking things. The skid rotated again and a light appeared from the skid and shot at the symbol of Xana on this weird gate thing. After a moment the opening expanded

"I remember now! A replica of the forest. Xana often had me come here for training more than the other sectors on Lyoko itself." I mentioned.

"I wonder what it's for..and we know it's up to no good.." Jeremy put in.

"So, Jeremy do you want us to explore it further?" Aelita asked.

"Of course! I want as much data as you all can gather from that virtual copy." He responded.

The skid stopped above the platform of the plateau and we were teleported onto it.

"I don't see why we have to explore it I mean its just a copy..nothing original about it." Odd said which I think he was trying to joke but I couldn't tell.

"If we don't want him crying someone better laugh at his joke." Aelita snapped.

I let out a sigh and walked over to Yumi and Ulrich who seemed annoyed to by the expressions on their faces.

"What you will do is work in teams of two and three people. One explores while the others stay and protects the skid." Jeremy instructed.

"Ulrich and I will go venture while you ladies stay put, or Akiko and I can go together with one of you two." Odd said.

"Wow the idiot actually came up with an innovative idea." Aelita remarked.

"Nu uh. Ulrich and I are sick of this bickering. We need a break." Yumi scolded.

"Same here. You two can stay here and fight all you want. We have listened to nothing but arguing and stupid insults." Ulrich put in.

I looked between the two groups of them and sighed. I hated hearing friend fight. I understand we are going to at some point, but the reason was stupid.

"I agree...I don't like that you two are fighting and I don't want to hear anymore." I added in.

"Akiko why don't you stay with me? I could use some real company instead of this nobody." Odd suggested.

"Didn't you hear her? She's tired of the fighting too. And what if Xana attacks and you two argue over a little thing? She could get captured. Akiko is coming with us. She needs people who can be there to help her when she needs it." Yumi explained putting her hands on her hips.

"Alright if the groups are settled here are your vehicles." Jeremy said.

With that the over bike and over wing were virtualized in front of Ulrich and Yumi. After Yumi got on I chose to get on with her putting my hands around her waist to stay on.

"Try not to de-virtualize each other we still have a mission to do." Yumi put in.

The three of us took off and began exploring the place leaving Odd and Aelita by themselves to do what they liked.

"Do you remember much else about this place?" Ulrich asked.

"Not really..felt like I was unconscious for years..I remember coming here but most of the time they were brief and the training would be long sessions."

A laser came flying at us and in the distance was some monsters. A few crabs and hornets.

"Seems Xana figured out we were here." Ulrich commented dodging another laser.

"With Akiko here he is going tor try harder to get her." Yumi said.

"I'll handle the crabs you two get going!" Ulrich ordered.

"Right. Be careful" Yumi said.

With that she turned the over wing around and flew back where we came from. The buzzing from the hornet's wings could be heard behind us. I turned my head seeing 4 of them chasing us not to far behind. Summoning an aura sphere, I shot at them but ended up missing.

"Damn.." I cursed under my breath.

A few more lasers shot at us and hopefully Yumi was able to dodge them.

"Ulrich, Yumi Xana is attacking the skid!" Jeremy told us.

"Ulrich is taking care of some crabs Jeremy." Yumi replied.

"You need to get back to the skid now."

"What about Akiko? I'm sure Williams there."

"I'll be fine Yumi. The skid is important we need it. I have my weapon this time and can fight like the rest of you." I said.

"Right."

I got my staff out and deflected some of the lasers that continued to shoot at us. We came upon Aelita surrounded by two mega tanks and William and now we had the hornets. Suddenly the over bike pushed into a mega tank sending it over the edge with the bike itself. Ulrich used his super sprint and made it to Aelita before William had a chance to attack. I jumped off the over wing and landed in front of the other mega tank. Using my scepter, I began cutting some of the plateau and rose the pieces up sending them at the mega tank in retaliation shot at it and in that same moment I shot an energy field at it destroying it. Suddenly a laser hit me in the shoulder causing me to the drop my staff. I held my shoulder with my other hand wincing as the pain lasted for a moment and the hornets surrounded me.

"Hang on Akiko!" Yumi called out and flew back over on the over wing and threw a fan.

The fan flew around the swarm of hornets and hit one destroying it.

"Nice work Yumi!" I commented.

Picking up my scepter I swung it against the ground making a fire and shot fireballs destroying the other two while the last one shot my hand making me drop my scepter once again. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed William and Ulrich fighting. Aelita shot an energy field at the last hornet and I sighed in relief. Picking up my scepter I summoned an energy field placing it the top of my scepter. I held it with both of my hands and it charged up making the energy field bigger. I lifted my scepter up and swung it at them as the energy spun in it assorted colors showing.

"Ulrich move!" I ordered.

As the two males clashed swords Ulrich jumped back at the last second and the enhanced energy field struck William turning him into nothing but red ash and black smoke. I smiled feeling victory, and everyone joined up.

"Jeremy we're ready to come back." Aelita said.

All four of us got back into the skid and eventually made our way back home in the scanners.

"So how much data did you get Jeremy?" I asked.

"Not much, but hopefully you all can go back and explore it." He said.

"I wonder what else there is to find." Aelita thought.

"Well I am ready to go find my bed" Odd commented.

I was relieved to not hear Aelita make an additional comment and call him names. It seemed they had made up while the three of us were out exploring. I looked between her and Odd and saw the two smiling at one another. It took some weight off my shoulders and gave me some relief.

"We all deserve some rest after what we did so I say we get back to the dorms." Ulrich suggested.

All of us agreed and we went our separate ways. Yumi went home and the rest of us proceeded back to the dorms and into bed.
