Chapter 14: Out of the Programming

            Meanwhile outside, the other Guardians are following Gary’s and the Ducktor’s signal. The Ducktor’s signal isn’t that strong but Gary’s is. Suddenly they found out that Gary’s signal has stopped moving and it’s located in the park. They all landed and saw a human facing the pond. He was wearing a lab coat and beside him is a girl wearing a dark dress.

            “Is that G?” asked Rookie.

            “I’m not sure” said Cadence. “But it’s the same lab coat that Gary wears”.

            They walked in a bit closer then one of them began to talk.

            “So, you found me” said the girl then she turned around. “What are you gonna do?”

            “Who are yer?” asked Rockhopper.

            “Of course” said the girl. “Well… I’m the Ducktor!”

            They all got shocked and they never assumed that the Ducktor would be a girl. Then they all now know that beside her is Gary.

            “Gary!” cried Franky.

            “That’s right, it’s your beloved G!” said Tara.

            Gary turned around and the dark blue aura on his eyes kept on glowing. He was far beyond their reach for him to recover

            “That’s right, you found the Ducktor!” said Gary. “And you will never capture her!”.

            “What happened to Gary?” asked Aunt Artic.

            “He’s now mine!” said Tara.

            She pulled Gary close to her and kissed him on front of the Guardians. All the other penguins looked away except for Stompin Bob and Cadence. The others disappeared while Stompin Bob and Cadence remained. It was too much for the other penguins. Tara saw the two penguins not flinching and discovered that the others are. She now knew what happened, those two also rebelled the programming.

            “So, you’re now free are ye?” asked Tara.

            “What?” asked Cadence.

            “You two are free from the programing, just like G and me” said Tara.

            “So?” asked Stompin Bob.

            “You don’t know?” asked Tara. “You’ll lose you Club Penguin aspects and become pure human!”.

            “You’re lying!” said Cadence.

            “I was a penguin!” said Tara. “I left the game and rebelled the program! Look at me now! I’m even supposed to be a guy but when I left, I transformed into a girl! And look at me now, I now have a hate for that game! They created me, but I have no purpose! I was sent here to start over!”.

            “And you want to use your powers of the Link to destroy Club Penguin! How dare you?” asked Stompin Bob.

            “The Link?” said Tara. “You mean this!”

            She transformed into her Link Guardian form. It look Similar to Alana’s form but it’s a dark purple and black in colour.

            “No!  You can’t be!” said Cadence. “You’re the hidden possessor!”

            “That’s right!” said the Ducktor. “I’m the Possessor of the Balance Fragment but has a few abilities of control!”.

            “Who is the third possessor?” asked Cadence.

            “How should I know, dark essences are flying everywhere since that incident with Lira or should I say the body I took when I reformed!” said Tara.

            “We need you back!” said Stompin Bob. “You can save Club Penguin!”

            “Save that stupid site?” said Tara.

“Really? Are you serious? I was born with no purpose by that site. I was never asked to be born or created! Why should I help you? Now enough jibber jabber, Gary, attack them!”

            “Yes mistress” said Gary. “My pleasure!”

            Gary transformed into his guardian form and turned into a penguin. Dark essence surrounds him and he started to attack them.

            “Gary stop!” said Cadence. “We’re your comrades!”

            “Liars!” said Gary. “You we’re never my companions! Now prepare to be exterminated!”

            “No G!” said Stompin Bob as he dodges Gary’s moves and attacks.

            “Never!” said Gary. “What are you going to do? You don’t want to hurt me do you?”

            Cadence and Stompin Bob gave it some thought but it was the only choice. Cadence got her radio and Stompin Bob got his guitar. They went back to back and combined their powers together.

            “Sonic Convergence!” said Cadence and Stompin Bob.

            A large sound was created and pushed Gary to the pond. It made a huge splash and a medium size wave came. Nobody got wet. Cadence and Stompin Bob checked a bit if they really killed Gary. Then suddenly, a dark aura was flying and landed on the park. It was Gary and he fainted and deformed into a human. Cadence and Stompin Bob picked him up and took him to HQ.
