"Are you sure?" She asked pulling it from his hand, "let me see it!" Kim yelled reaching for it, Adam pulling his hand away from her grasp.

"What's it worth to you?" A smirk filling his face, he finally relented and held it in front of her, "I told you it would happen"

He handed her the stick, tears springing to her eyes, "this is wonderful" she hugged him.

They waited for their name to be called back, a few weeks had passed since she had taken the pregnancy test.

Kim's leg was jiggling, "Baby, can you please sit still, you're making the entire row of chairs bounce" Adam laughed, placing a reassuring hand on her thigh.

She turned to him, "I'm just nervous, that's all"

"Why? You've done this before" he was a little taken aback by her nervousness.

"It's silly" she started to explain.

"Mrs. Ruzek?" The assistant called out.

"Let's go" Kim stood grabbing Adam's hand.

"Alright, everything looks good" he said after the exam, "let's get you on some prenatal vitamins and see the front desk to set up your next appointment" he tossed his gloves in the red bin, "How's my Harper?" He asked, he had been Kim's doctor thought out her pregnancy but was out sick when she was delivered. Which made it that much easier for Adam's mother to kidnap Harper.

"She's good, growing like a weed and aggravating her brother" Adam told him as Kim went into the dressing room.

Three Months Later

"Daddy, does mommy still need me?" Anthony asked over his pancakes, "she's got a new baby in her belly, right?"

Adam would never forgive Katrina for the seed of doubt she planted in Anthony's head, "Bud, your mom will always need you, you know this. Just because you didn't grow in her belly doesn't change that" he tousled his hair.

"Is it a boy or a girl?"

"Don't know" Adam replied, "we won't know until it's born" he told him, "it'll be a surprise"

"I want a boy, not another girl" Anthony picked the marshmallows from his cereal, "girls are dumb"

"Hey!" Kim said as she kissed the top of his head, "that's not very nice, I'm a girl" she laughed.

"No, you're a mommy" Anthony smiled, "not a girl"

They heard the front door open, "Grandma?" Anthony asked running to the front door.

"Hey buddy" Amy greeted him, "Mom and Dad ready to go?"

Kim hugged her, "We are, c'mom Adam" Kim grabbed his hand.

"Would you look at that" the technician said as she moved the wand over Kim's stomach, "let me go get the doctor"

Adam looked up at her her, "Wait, is something wrong with our baby?" a hint of fear in his voice.

"I just need the doctor to confirm" she opened the door, "I will be just a minute"

"Adam?" Kim grabbed his hand, "why does she need the doctor?"

Adam didn't have time to respond, the technician returning with the doctor.

"Let's take a look" he said as he sat on the stool and moved the wand, he pointed to the screen, "here's your baby's head" his finger running along the screen, "the spine" he moved the wand across the abdomen, "here's a head"

"Wait? Did you just say my kid has two heads?" Adam was confused, "what the hell?"

Kim smiled at his confusion, "I think he's trying to tell us it's two, Adam."

"Two?" He sat down in the chair, "two?"

The doctor smiled, "Yes, two. Twins. They share a placenta as well, looking at a strong possibility of identical twins"

"Two?" Adam asked again, "are you sure?"

Kim laughed, "Baby, are you okay?" She ran her hand over his cheek, "I'm excited!"

The doctor printed out the photos, "This will move your pregnancy into the high risk category, but it's just a precaution. We will keep a closer eye on them and make sure they develop normally" he patted Kim's arm, "You okay Dad?"

"Two?"

"He's a bit overwhelmed" Kim laughed, "I'm in shock to be honest, it's a good shock though"

Kim glanced at Adam as he drove, he was unusually quiet she ran her hand up his thigh "talk to me, you look terrified"

Adam nodded, "Two?" He quickly stole a glance at her before returning his eyes to the road, "two" he muttered again.

She couldn't help but laugh, "Yes, two. It's going to be amazing"

"Four?"

"Not only is he sexy as hell, he can add too!" She teased him, "We have plenty of room Adam" their house having six bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms with a huge yard in the front and back. Not to mention the media room, play room, and Adam's 'Man Cave', she had no problem with spending from her trust fund for her children and Adam.

He pulled the car into the driveway, he quickly went around to her side to help her out, his hand landing on her stomach, "Two?"

She laughed, "Babe, you gotta pull it together. We got this" she kissed him.

He pulled back, "it's gonna take a day or two"

She smiled, "two"

Adam went into the house, grabbing a beer "It's a little early, don't you think Adam?" Amy asked.

"Two" he told her as he sat down on the couch.

Amy looked over at Kim, "Two what?"

"Babies, two babies" Adam told her, "twins"

"Are you serious?!?? I'm getting two grand babies?" Amy screamed, pulling Kim into her arms, "Adam, your dad is going to freak out! This is so exciting!"

I know twins have been done before but this is going to be something never seen before and I hope to do it justice!

I know I said it would be a bit before I update but this was an important chapter and the next one will have a bit of a time jump and things will start to happen.
