Chloe's POV

"I win!" I giggled. "Not fair bitch!" Alice scrertched flipping the monopoly board over. I was currently sitting on Lucy's lap. We were having a game night, me, Lucy, Max, and Alice. My mom and dad left so we could have the house to ourselves. We heard the door open and heard a thump. "Max you're the man, I mean boy here, so go check what that was." Alice said. We all looked at him. "Alice you are tough. You go." He said. They started arguing. I stood up. I started walking to the door. "No." All three of them said. Ignoring them I grabbed my text book I had laying on my desk and went downstairs. I turned on the light and saw Stephanie. "Hey sis." She slurred. "You're drunk." I said slowly backing away. "So? Give me a hug I haven't seen you all week." She said getting closer. I heard footsteps and it sounded like all of them coming down. "Alice go back up." I yelled. Steph gave me a tight hug. I started breathing hard. "Um." I heard Max drift off. "Alice turn around and go back up." He said. "No." She said. She came down and saw my sister was drunk. I tried pushing Steph off but she wouldn't budge. I started to panic. Max pried her off of me and I ran upstairs. I curled in a ball on my bed. I heard the door slam open and felt two spots on the bed dip down. "What's wrong?" Lucy asked rubbing my arm. "Chlo' can I tell her?" Alice asked. I nodded. "Well when Chloe was smaller, her parents would send her to her uncles house for him to babysit. He used to get super drunk and abuse her. So now, she can't deal with drunk people." Alice said softly. "Weren't you a drunk for a while?" Lucy asked Alice. "Yeah but as soon as I found out about this, that was the reason that pushed me to stop." Alice said patting my head. I heard my phone ring in the bathroom. I guess I left it there. I got up slowly and got my phone. I answered. "Hello?" I said. "Hey um, are you busy?" I heard Craig ask. "Um I don't know how answer that right now." I said quietly. "Well could you give me a call when you know you're not busy?" He chuckled nervously. "Yeah, sure thing." I said reassuringly. "Okay thanks. Oh and Chloe?" He said sounding more confident in his words. "Yes?" I questioned. "Um thanks. I know you don't know what I'm thanking you for, so I guess I should explain. Um thanks for making me feel more then anger and hatred towards everything. Before you I was a cold hearted ass, I mean now I'm still an ass to mist people, but you made me feel different." He said kind of fast, as if he was scared to say it. I was speechless. What could I say to that? I'm not special enough to actually change someone, right? "Im sorry maybe I shouldn't have said anything.I will just, um, hang up now." He said sounding disappointed. "No, dhon't hang up. I'm glad you told me. I'm just speechless." I said shyly.
