I was walking with Mal to her locker I went back in the kitchen to make my own cookies this morning because they sounded pretty good y'know without the whole love potion thing. Then Jay came along. "Are you feeling kinda weird about this, I mean it's not so bad here you know" Jay complains. "Are you insane?" Mal starts making Jay stop laughing instantly, "Long live evil, your mean, your awful your bad news snap out of it." Mal snaps at him. "Thanks mal I needed that." Jay laughs lightly. "Hey Jay want a cookie I made love potion free ones this morning" I ask him. "Sure" Jay replies taking a cookie. Whilst Jay went to flirt with some girls and Audrey and Ben were talking I turned to mal. "Mal, did you know by tomorrow you'll forgot 40% of what you experienced today?" I asked genuinely curious if she did I mean Mal is smart but did she know? "No I didn't I'm sure you did though you always know stuff like this." She responds I couldn't tell If she was being honest or just trying to keep me happy. But she is my best friend she would lie to me right? The ben walked over stopping my thoughts.

"I just made a batch of cookies with Chesh, double choc chip want one?" Mal asked trying to get him to eat one. "Oh i've uh got a big game I dont eat before a game, but thank you so so much next time" Ben responds trying to make Mal feel bad. "No yeah I completly understand "be careful of treats offered to you by kids of villains" I get it" Mal starts her manipulation. "no no no no - " Ben starts. "No im sure every kid in auradon knows that." "No thats not it no I really do have-" "No I get it your cautious. Thats smart. Oh well more for me I guess" Mal manipulates more. "no-no hey' Ben says then takes the cookie and takes a big bite. I signal for Evie, Jay and Carlos to come over. "see that I totaly trust you" Ben says chewing the cookie. "how are they?" Mal asks trying to be casually. "They're good They're great they're amazing they're uh chewing and uh you know is that walnuts I love walnuts I mean you know the uh the chocolate, the chocolate, the chocolate chips are, im sorry, they're warm, they're soft and they're sweet  Mal have you always had those like golden flecks in your eyes." Ben rambles about to take another bite before Mal takes the cookie back.

"How you feeling bro?" Jay asks coming up behind Ben. "I feel, I feel, I feel like singing your name Mal, Mal" Ben starts before Jay muffles him by putting his hands over his mouth. 

*****TIME SKIP*****

The tourney game starts and i'm standing at the edge of the grass because I don't feel like being in a crowd of people also allowing myself to think back to what Evie and Jay said to me an hour ago. 

$FLASHBACK$

I was sitting on my bed reading a book listening to a band called one direction when Evie and Jay walk in. I have always thought of Evie and Jay as my older sibblings considering they bascilly raised me when my dad wasn't around I mean if i'm being honest he was the one person on the isle who was able to leave. he was able to go to wonderland whenever he wanted to because of his teleporting powers but only wonderland. Me on the other hand I don't have the blood of a wonderlander so I can't. There was a time my dad went to wonderland when I was about 7 and he stayed there for many years and by the time he came back I was 12 years old. During that time I met Evie and Jay along with someone else but I didn't see them often. Evie and Jay took me under their wing and I was then part of the VK's.

I continued reading when I felt the bed sink beside me. I looked over and saw Jay sitting next to me and Evie sewing. I put the book down and stopped my music. "What's up?" I asked moving closer to Jay so I had my head laying down in his lap and my legs curled up. Basically I was a human ball on Jay. He started running his fingers threw my hair and I closed my eyes slightly purring and the affection. "Nothing really just had a quick run through with the game plan" I hummed back acknowledging him. When evie blurted something out. "Hey cheshy you seem pretty close with Carlos." She says. "I mean he is my bes friend along with Mal and you guys" I replied not thinking much of what Evie said. "Yeah chesh evie is right you do seem pretty close with Carlos is something going on between the 2 of you" He asked smirking slightly. "No we're just friends" Confused to what Jay was hinting at. "Omg you really are innocent" Evie says completly shocked that I hadn't the slightest clue at what they were talking about. "What do you mean?" I asked confused to why evie was freaking out. 

"I mean what do you feel around Carlous like do you feel happy, safe, calm you know" Evie pushes gently trying to explain it in a way I could process it. "Yeah I mean he is my best friend" I reply still confused. "Chesh you know when I had a girlfriend on the isle and I was really happy and I told you I really like that girl?" Jay asked "Yea.." "Do you feel that way around Carlos like butterflies in your stomach and happy and nervous around him?" He asked. "No I don't think so" I replied trying to think about what they meant.

As I was thinking about this I was thinking back to the last time Carlos and I hung out which was a few days ago. We were with dude and were in the forest talking about life so far. And thats when it struck me. The feeling I'd get in my stomach every time he held my hand or Hugged me. The way I smiled almost all the time around him and the way and the way I would be so nervous I was doing something wrong around him it all made sense it what was evie and jay were talking about. By the time I zoned back in I realised Ben had a microphone in his hand 

*****TIMESKIP***** (BECAUSE IM LAZY)

I rushed to my room with Evie and Jay following me. OK more like me dragging them but It was urgent. I dragged them into the room and flopped on my bed pouting. "Ok first of all what's wrong 2nd of all why did you drag us here." Jay asked messing my hair up and flicking my ears. "Everything you guys were right I think I don't know you put this stuff in my head now I can't stop thinking about it and it's your guys faut" I burst out shoving my head in a pillow. "Rewind what did we say?" Evie says removing the pillow and holding my hands. "What you guys said earlier and my feelings" I mumble grumpy about this. "OMG you like Carlos!" Evie exlaims whilst Jay just laughs at me ruffling my hair. I huff and hug Jay annoyed. "I don't know you put a whole bunch of crazy stuff in my head and now all I think about is the fact that some of it was true help! please explain why I feel like this!" I ask desperate. "Ok chesh look at me you know how Audrey liked Ben and how Ben liked Audrey?" She asks I nod not sure where this is headed. "Right ok I think you like Carlos how Ben and Audrey liked each other" She explains. I just freeze. Omg Evie is right I LIKE CARLOS
