Chapter Seventytwo
Omniscient
Miami, Florida/Ritz Carlton - Brown Wedding

For it to be December the sun was shinning bright as if it was a summer day and there was love all in the air. Today's the day that Mya put her surname behind her and became Mrs. Brown.

Since the minute both Chris and Mya woke up, there has been smiles on their faces. Not a single drop of doubt has crossed their minds, they knew that this was one of the best decisions that they'll ever make.

Chris was able to rent out Mya's old house for her to get ready in. He knew how heart broken she was when he decided to sell it. He promised her in the future he'd buy them another place in her hometown. He'd do whatever to make her happy.

Everybody involved in this wedding had been up since the crack of dawn prepping for the events later. The couple wanted everything perfect, nothing could be out of place. There was approximately, three hours before the wedding started. At Mya's old house, her bridesmaids were getting their hair done. She didn't want anything to be done on herself until she knew that everybody looked the way she wanted them to.

At the house Chris rented, the boys were passing a blunt and cracking jokes. You know men have it much easier than women. All they need was a haircut and they were done. Jessica came to do his makeup though, even though Mya didn't really like or trust her.

Mya begged Chris to let her chose his barber and hair color. For her, he went back to his black hair with a hint of dark green on the tips. His hair was similar to how it was in the Heat video but even more perfect this time. She didn't want to kill his vibe all the way. Mya knows that her soon-to-be husband loves to express himself in anyway possible.

All of their guests were slowly approaching the venue. Miami was full of celebrities mainly for Chris. That scared Mya a little bit, she'd never been around so many famous people before. Chris and Mya's names were heavy on every blog. Most of them mentioning how shocked they were that couple made this far. Some of the ones with no heart loved to mention Chris past mistakes.

The old hoes that Chris previously dealt with burned with envy. They couldn't understand why he wanted to marry Mya and what made her most special. Some even thought of rumors to get started just to kill the moment.

But NOTHING could kill this moment.

After all this time watching everybody get ready it was now Mya's turn. Her hair was done last night and she made sure to not get even a single strand out of place. Her natural hair was straightened and pulled up into a sleek beautiful bun with her baby hair POPPING of course. She didn't want to wear a veil due to her not really finding one that went with her dress but the beautiful emerald and diamond tiara she found was enough but she would have on a veil for her second look.

Her make up artist beat her face to the GODS! It was natural but still popped. She looked so flawless, something a person could only dream about.

Once her make up was done, they took pictures of her and her bridal party before their looks all came together.

Royalty was there was well. Her big gold princess dress waited for her in her Meme's room. Her long beautiful hair was pulled up just like Mya's. Landon got ready with his dad. His matching Emerald suit that looked like Chris's was so adorable.

After chilling for a while, Chris went to get ready. He was nervous, that he could admit. Mainly because he just wanted everything to go perfectly. From their wedding down to the entire marriage. Mya was the woman that he wants to grow old with so there was no room for mistakes. He couldn't wait to see her walking down the aisle. He's been telling himself over and over not to cry when that moment comes, even though Mya threatened to turn back around if he didn't.

Once he got out the shower he put on his Tom Ford tuxedo.

When Mya first told him she wanted the colors to Emerald he was nervous but seeing everything that she came up with, he quickly realized that his baby is a genius. Everything she chose was perfect and he couldn't wait to see it all come to life.

Once his tux was on then his shoes, Chris looked in the mirror and smiled. "Damn, I'm really about to get married." He said before letting out a small laugh.

There was a knock on the door. "Brown, you ready?" Hoody called.

"Yeah.......I'm ready."

Back at Mya's place she just took deep breaths as her stylist Anna zipped up her gown.

She has tried on her dress a million times but is scared that she would regret her decision to buy it when this day came. Her stylist stepped back and smiled at the masterpiece in front of her. "Mya you look beautiful."

Mya finally released the breath she was holding. "Do I? Honestly?"

Tears filled Anna's eyes. "Yes....oh my goodness he's going to love it."

"Please don't make me cry. I don't want my make up to smear."

"I'm sorry....okay, okay. Let's get out of here."

Walking out the room and heading downstairs, everybody started hollering and screaming when they saw the beautiful bride. Mya was in love with her bridesmaids dresses.

"You guys look so pretty!" She said while walking over to them.

"Us?!" Munchie said. "Mya look at you." Her eyes filled with tears.

"Munchie don't cry! I've been trying to fight tears all day."

"I can't help it you look so beautiful."

"Thank you. I'm so nervous."

"Girl you changed the damn game. A man that swore he would never get married is so excited to give you his last name today. Mya you are an icon for this shit." Eva said, causing everybody to laugh.

"I knew you were the right one the minute you walked in the house." Joyce said. "I'll save my tears for the wedding but thank you Mya for saving my baby."

That was all Mya needed to hear to make those tears fall. Quickly her makeup artist rushed over to her and dabbed away the tears before they did too much damage.

"Okay, we gotta go before any more make up is ruined. We still have an entire ceremony to get through." Makayla said.

"Has anyone talked to Chris?" Mya asked. They haven't seen each other since the day before yesterday and barely had the time to talk.

"I talked to him for a quick second earlier to make sure he was following his schedule." Joyce said.

"Okay."

Once they made sure Mya looked perfect, everybody left out. Paparazzi was working over time to get a picture of Mya or Chris to sell. The price for one was sky high. Outside of her gated home, they were in hiding in bushes or wherever they felt they'd best blend in.

The couple made sure to have their cars tinted dark so that none of them could get what they wanted.

The entire ride to the venue Mya just prayed. She prayed for a wholesome marriage, she asked for god to bless her to be able fulfill her duties as a wife. All she wants is to continue to make Chris happy for the many years ahead. None of their hard work will go to waste.

Pulling up to the Ritz Carlton, she took a deep breath. Mya felt herself getting antsy. She felt like she was living in a dream, this was really happening.

She's 45 minutes from becoming a wife..

•••

"Is Mya here yet?" Chris asked for the 10th time. And every response was I don't know and that made his nerves even worse. All of the bad thoughts rushed through his head. He slowly started to convince himself that Mya decided that she didn't want to marry him.

"She's here. We got 15 minutes before show time you guys." The wedding coordinator said. "Everybody make sure you're all set because we're getting ready to head over. Chris are you ready?"

He quickly nodded.

"Da-Da." Landon said walking over to his father after breaking away from Sinko.

Chris smiled while picking him up. "What's up man. You looking really sharp today. Mommy is going to be so excited when she sees you."

"Where's mommy?"

"You're about to see her in a minute bud." Chris's hand ran over his sons fresh Nipsey braids. Landon mimicked his dad and ran his hands over Chris's head, almost messing up his hair. Chris laughed. "Dang Landon, you trying to have me out here looking crazy?"

"Mess up my hair." Landon put his hands on his own head, pretending to fix what wasn't even messed up.

"You crazy you know that?"

Landon started doing his fake laugh.

"Yeah you get that shit from yo mama." Chris shook his head before laughing too.

"Okay, it's time to head down. The last few guests have shown up." The coordinator said.

Chris stood up from his seat, placing his son on his feet, he straightened both of their clothes and made sure his hair was neat. "You ready man?" He asked Landon while holding out his hand for a high five.

"Ready." Landon slapped his dads hand then grabbed it so that they could walk out.

When everybody got in the elevator, Chris leaned back on the wall and shut his eyes. He didn't understand why he was so on edge. He performs in front of millions of people like it's nothing this should be a piece of cake.

Well a wedding isn't a concert...HIS wedding at that.

Once they got to the top floor, everybody in the elevator started cheering making Chris laugh.

"You ready nigga?!" Tim yelled.

"I'm ready."

"It's show time."

The elevator doors opened and everybody climbed off. The bridesmaids stood in the hallway.

"YAS CHRIS YOU BETTER FUCKING SLAY!" Mariah yelled.

"PERIOD SIS!" He yelled back while walking over to his mom giving her a hug.

"You look so handsome." Joyce tried to blink away her tears but couldn't. They quickly fell. There were no words to describe how proud she was of her son. She thought she'd never get to experience this moment.

"Thank you." Chris held onto his mom tighter. "I love you."

"I love you too and I'm so proud of you, you're glowing."

"Gotta thank my baby for that."

Joyce kissed his cheek then let him go mingle with everybody else. Chris was super excited that his sister decided to be in the wedding. He knows that she prefers to stay out of the spotlight.

A lot of his family was here, a lot of people that he hadn't seen in a while and that made him even happier.

"Before we start, I wanna thank everybody for being apart of this moment. Me and Mya really love y'all and appreciate you. We got something special for everybody after the wedding."

"It better be diamonds bitch." Tim said.

"You such a gold digger bro." Chris shook his head

"You damn right. If these hoes can do, why can't I?"

Everybody laughed. Tim just being Tim.

"Okay guys it's time." The wedding planner said. Security had to do another check for cell phones. They couldn't risk none of this being leaked.

"Alright let me check you son." Chris dad said while coming to straighten out Chris's tuxedo. Once everything was perfect, he placed his hands on his sons shoulders. "Congratulations."

"Chris we're ready for you." The coordinator said.

Once again, he was feeling nauseous. He followed over to the double doors. He inhaled deeply then exhaled. "Whew, I'm ready." He said.

The double doors opened and once he saw what was doing to the once plain room, he was amazed.

Everything just went together so perfect. People smiled and clapped as he made his way to the front. Chris put on a shy grin as he walked. When he reached the alter, he shook hands with the preacher then stood as his spot. Jake doing what he does best, took photos of Chris waiting for everybody else to make their entrance.

His mother and father walked down holding Landon.

"Daddy!" Landon reached out for his favorite person in the world. He tried to his best to get away from his meme but she wasn't having it and she kept a smile on her face while keeping him in check.

Chris laughed and shook his head at his son. He was his dad all over again. And when he's with Royalty, it's non stop chaos.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen made they're way down. There was nine on each side. Chris didn't ask Brian to be in his wedding. Brian til this day has this attitude towards Chris from when he hurt Mya and they really don't know each other. Since Chris and Mya have been together he has seen her brother probably three times.

Mya's nieces were the flower girl's and her nephews were the ring barriers.

Royalty walked down, waving at her mom and nia's mom on the way. Them being there was Mya's idea. Chris and Nia have a better relationship but not to the point where he would want her at his wedding. He felt like Mya was too nice at times.

The double doors that were once open closed and everybody knew what that meant. Chris's good friend Jamie Foxx, appeared behind the piano that sat close by. He began playing one of Mya's favorite songs.

Behind those doors, Mya waited with her dad until it's was time for her to go. She held tightly onto her dads arms. Butterflies were all in stomach.

"Well you know im sooo elated because she laying right here next to me."

The doors opened and without hesitation, Mya and Chris eyes connect.

"Wow." He whispered as his eye filled with tears. Mya's nose turned red as her tears began to drop. Chris placed his hand over his mouth as he began to cry as well.

Keeis grabbed his cousins shoulders. "Look at her man! Wow."

"She so beautiful." Chris bit down on his lip.

As Mya got closer to him he was just more and more amazed. He didn't think she'd be capable of looking more gorgeous than she normally does.

When Mya and her dad got to the front, the couple both had wide smiles on their face. So wide, you'd think their cheeks would rip.

"Who gives this woman to this man?" The pastor asked.

"I do." Sam said before placing Mya's hand in Chris's. Chris helped Mya up onto the stage.

Once they were face to face it was like they were the only two in the room. They both were in a daze.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here to watch this beautiful union take the next step, the big step. Today we all get to watch Mya and Christopher become united in love. Marriage is not all a beautiful walk in the park, so to make this move, it shows your courageousness and the fact that you've decided to take on this journey together shows the trust and love shared between you two. Becoming a husband means to provide and protect and wife's duty is nurture and cater. Many don't succeed at their assigned jobs but just by standing here, I know you'll two we be just fine. You both decided to write your own vows. Christopher, let us hear what you have to say to your soon-to-be wife.

Chris cleared his throat before holding onto Mya's hands a little tighter. "Before I say anything else the first thing I want to say is thank you Mya. First and foremost, thank you for my son. Thank you for loving me correctly. Thank you for looking past my faults and seeing my potential. Thank you for showing me to never settle for less just to have something. Thank you for never taking advantage of my giving heart. Thank you for making me step up and become the man that I should've been a long time ago. You took me off of that road to destruction. The only thing I cared about was my daughter, nothing else. You made me take care of myself. Become more focused, I would be lost without you. From the day I saw you walk out of that apartment, I knew it was something special about you. Maybe it was the fact that you didn't lose your mind at the sight of me and you made me sweat you when I'm always used to it being the other way around. You humbled the hell out of me. Made me realize, not everybody is going fall at my feet just because of who I am. You are exactly what I need in my life. You are simply amazing and I vow to spend the rest of my life making sure that you keep a big beautiful smile on your face. I love you more than anything and I am forever indebted to you. I'm glad you're taking this journey with me because I honestly can't imagine it with anybody else. It's me and you until the end of time. I love you baby."

"Mya." The preacher said.

Mya took a deep breath. "I'm going to try and get through this without crying but no promises. Til this day, I still ask myself why did he chose me. With all the women in the world, what made CHRIS BROWN, want to settle down with regular ol' me. These past two years of getting to know you have truly been a rollercoaster but I enjoyed every hill, every twist and turn. Even those drops that made my stomach fall to my knees. We grew together. We learned new ways to love and appreciate each other. You made me a better woman, you made me a mom." Mya's last few words cracked from the tears that she fought. "Everyday you tell me that I'm beautiful even when I don't believe it. You protect me like no other. NOBODY can speak ill about me when you're around. You taught me how to love because I never thought that I'd be capable. You're amazing. I sometimes wish people could see you the way I do. You're the most charming and loving person I know. You're such a sweetheart and it just warms me up inside. You have the biggest heart. You make sure
