Saiko awoke to again another bad day. Beside his bed, beer bottles and platters of dry noodle bits stared at him. He hadn't been able to shake this feeling since he graduated from university. He'd been in this condition for over four months. His filthy and chaotic existence was never cleaned up.

After his last relationship, he didn't even have a girlfriend or a regular buddy. Only Sora from primary school could be considered a friend. This was because they had always attended the same schools since elementary school. Sora graduated first in his class, and Saiko came in second. They applied to 'The University of Tokyo' the same year and were admitted on their first try.

He combed his unruly hair to one side and turned to face the screen. He'd forgotten about it at night.

A video was still playing on YouTube. A bald man was often providing survival tips. He was spending his days watching these vids these days. He was continually envisioning himself in similar settings to pass the time. He'd learnt everything from forging a sword to building a clay house, from creating a bow to surviving, in short, how to exist without technology in the last few months.

Despite this, he couldn't take his hands off the phone or his gaze away from the screen. The 'combine and strengthen' game, which he played on the phone all the time, had become like a cigarette to him. He didn't feel like playing today for some reason and gently tossed the phone on the couch.

He scratched his tummy and walked up to the computer. He put "My Hero Academia" into the search window after searching for Crunchroll.com. He was now watching the final episode of the fifth season. Saiko is bisexual, therefore he was drawn to the majority of the characters in the show, or rather, in most anime shows. He has seen so many anime that he has lost track of how many he has seen. Then, just as the opening scene began, his phone rang.

He grabbed for his latest model phone, which was sitting next to him on the sofa. Even if there was no food, he would buy the most recent model phone. Despite the fact that he did not publish images on social media, he want the finest.

He took up the phone to see who was calling. Sora was there. With a sweep of his finger, he answered the phone.

"Yo!"

"Hey!"

"What's up?"

"Good, how are you?"

"Well, I just woke up, the anime opening was about to start and you called. What's up, is there something?"

"Hahahahahah! I guess I caught it at the right time then! Hahahahaha!"

"Straight to the point, dude."

"Okay, bro, you remember Sakura, right?"

"You mean the useless pink-haired girl from Naruto?"

"What? No, I meant my girlfriend!"

"Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, I do remember her so what?"

"Bro, we are going on holiday to Sapporo, Hokkaido with her."

"Well, whatever, bye."

Before Saiko could hang up, Sora interrupted him.

"Wait, listen, fu**. Look, Sakura also has a friend named Gojo. Did you know him?"

"The one with white hair and blindfold?"

"No, you weeb! I meant the one from computer engineering!"

"Oh, my bad. Yeah, I do know him, isn't he the British with a Japanese name?"

"Yeah bro, he's half British and Japanese and they call him 'The Knight of Computers'."

"Hehe, a knight in shining armor."

"Anyway, bro, now we're saying, we're going to have a double date, let's get you and Gojo together. What do you say?"

"Bro, I haven't seen his face but this guy is a computer nerd, he ain't skinny, right?"

"Are you a dumbass? I'm sending you a photo of him."

"Let's see."

He slid the phone down and clicked on the Sora notification in the back. The photo in front of him took his breath away. This man was far too attractive. He didn't even feel worthy for him for a second.

"Damn, this guy is so handsome. He probably doesn't give a fu** to me."

"Don't worry about that, Sakura will take care of everything. You just clean the house now, go to the barber. Get a haircut as we talked about last time. Take a bath. Look a little bit like a man!"

"Okay, okay, are you guys coming tomorrow?"

"Exactly, I will take the car from my father tomorrow. We will come in the evening. You and Gojo will mingle. We will set out in the morning. Prepare a bidet for thirty thousand yen. I am not an association."

"Okay. You make that guy for me, I'll even send you on vacation."

"Okay then, see you later. Don't forget to clean the house!"

"Okay bye!"

After hanging up the phone, he immediately looked at the video playing on the computer. There was no enthusiasm left in him. He turned off the computer, directly lowering the monitor.

"Come on, Saiko! You can do it! You're the man who aced linear algebra in one class, couldn't you?" he said. He then began cleaning the house. He scrubbed the dishes, the bathroom, and the toilet with a toothbrush. He had a smile on his face when he returned two hours later.

He was happy with his effort. Then he took a bath, rubbing his skin off with the sponge. He took his key and exited the house after using the restroom.

He started by going to the ATM. He examined the last sum of money his father had sent him. He just had sixty thousand yen left. This would be the last money he received from his father. He would begin work at a private firm a week later.

Although he would begin with a modest wage, like every engineer does, he wasn't too concerned because he resided in Sendai. He could hold out till he had gotten enough of it.

He drew a five thousand yen note. He went to the cleanest-looking barbershop in the neighborhood. His hair had fallen to his chin. The hairdo he discussed with Sora was a short military cut. This hair looked good on him, yet he was lonely and messy. That's why he's never been worried until now.

He appeared to be an entirely different guy than when he left the barbershop. He was a little slender, but he was incredibly attractive with his tall stature and military-cut hair. Just for Gojo, he bore the discomfort this time and even got his nostrils waxed.

He went home with a smile on his face.

It eventually happened the next evening. He was now at the market. He asked the meat area worker in front of him for three hundred grams of salami. He then purchased cheddar cheese and sandwich bread. Plus a couple cold beverage cans. He bought it in the hopes that we might grow hungry on the journey.

There was, of course, another reason. He also had to have a cause for wearing the things he was wearing. He had given clothes a lot of attention. He didn't want to be seen in a tracksuit top in front of Gojo.

He was dressed in a new season T-shirt and pants that he had purchased a month before. He had no other explanation for the hefty metal watch on his left arm, the tungsten ring he had purchased for thirty dollars on his right hand's ring finger, and the silver necklace he wore around his neck.

That's why he planned to lie. He looked at his wristwatch and stated, "They'll be here shortly."

As he took his eyes off the watch, his phone rang in his pocket. It was Sora.

"Bro, where are you?"

"Bro, I had things to do outside; I'll be right back. The key is in its regular location; you go first."

"Okay."

"Bye."

He hung up the phone and slid his hands through the safe. He paid the money and headed home. Ten minutes later he was home. He stopped at the door and took one last look at his handsome face through the front camera of his phone.

He said, "My lion. Here you go!" He put the phone in his pocket and knocked on the door.

Sakura was the one who opened the door in front of him. He was familiar with Sakura. She was a model on social media with black hair, blue eyes, and a stunning figure.

She was going to be paid more than his salary the next week, albeit she wasn't always fortunate enough to obtain sponsors. She had studied English literature and language. But she didn't obtain enough points to graduate since she wasn't clever enough. That's why, in her senior year, she began modeling.

"Sakura, what's up?" asked Saiko, taking off his shoes and entering.

"Fine, you?" said Sakura.

"Everything is the same," he said and headed to the kitchen. In the kitchen, Sora was preparing something. They had bought some beers and cookies. He was putting the cookies on the plates.

"What's up dude?" he entered the kitchen. He put his hands on the table.

"Oh my friend, you're like a razor," Sora remarked as he let go of what he was holding.

"Thanks, man." they hugged. They hadn't seen each other for several months.

"So, what did you guys do?" Saiko asked as he sat on the chair in the kitchen.

"Same. We thought we'd arrange a last-minute vacation. It's your last free week, too. Are you starting work?" Sakura replied.

"Exactly. The company where I did my internship is called. It has a decent salary. I will work to gain experience."

Saiko looked around. His eyes were searching for Gojo.

She looked into his eyes and smiled. "In the toilet," Sakura said.

"Ookay."

"By the way, pour honey and lick it. How clean are you?" Sora said, grinning like a sly fox.

"What did you think? Haha!" he said, and then the restroom door slammed shut. He looked down the corridor and was speechless at what he saw.

Gojo was a thousand times more attractive than the snapshot Sora took. He wasn't sure if it was because he hadn't had a lover in a long time, but even the most beautiful things he came across in the books he was reading looked like rusted iron compared to him.

Gojo has blond hair that is cut short and green eyes. He is the height and weight of a typical man in his twenties. He has a lovely figure and seems composed. He's dressed in a large black coat with a red shirt underneath. He is likewise dressed in black pants and black sneakers.

Gojo was headed into the kitchen when he observed Saiko glancing back at him.

'It's just as good as they claim,' he reasoned. He thought Saiko was rather attractive. Saiko, in his opinion, was halfway between "so-so" and "Leonardo DiCaprio." 'I suppose it's closer to so-so,' he reasoned.

He made the first step inside the kitchen. "Hello, my name is Gojo," he said, holding out his hand.

Saiko awoke from his sleep and stood like a stick. He gazed down at his extending hand and softly held it. "H-hello, my name is Saiko, and welcome to my impoverished residence," he added. He then motioned to the seat and waited for him to take it. He sat next to him when he sat down.

At the time, Sora and Sakura were watching the pair. They believed the initial impression was favorable. They set out beer and cookies and began conversing.

All chats were certainly supertonic with alcohol. All the walls in between had been shattered by two beers, transforming it into a pleasant artwork.

After a while, Sora checked his phone's time and said, "Oh, it's twelve o'clock." Let's go to bed. We'll get up early tomorrow. They all cleaned the table after saying okay.

Sora rearranged the beds on the two couch beds in the living room. Saiko began making sandwiches with the cheddar and salami he purchased at the market. When Sora came, he was finishing up the final sandwich.

"What's up?" Sora asked Saiko.

"Bro, we don't bother with breakfast in the morning."

"I'm doing it so we can snack on the road."

"Wow, is our Saiko that thoughtful?" Sora smirked.

"Fu## you," Saiko replied with a laugh.

Sora took a glance behind him. He saw that no one was present. "Bro, take action tomorrow. Look, I got the keys to the home from our brother-in-law. So, three plus one equals a sturdy house with soundproof walls. Whatever you do tomorrow, finish this task," he added, lowering his voice.

"Don't worry, bro; I'll employ all of the strategies I've developed over the years."

"Let me see you, my lion," said Sora and went to Saiko's room. He lay on the sofa bed next to Saiko's bed and started snoring after a minute or two.

Saiko finished the last sandwich and put it in the fridge. He finally went inside and went to his bed. He slept like an angel today.

============================================

Saiko was awakened at five a.m. by Sora's voice. It wasn't quite obvious. But, because he had to wake up early and go, he hurriedly got up, cleaned his face, and brushed his teeth. When everyone was finished, they put their bags, sandwiches, and beverages in the cabinet, shut the door, and went downstairs to their car.

The automobile was the most recent model of a Japanese firm. Sora's father had a successful business. The fast food chain industry does make a lot of money.

They took off. With their drowsy visage, no one was in the mood for a chat. For an hour, there was complete quiet. Everyone had their phones out the entire time. When Saiko removed his head from the phone and peered out the window, he noticed that the day had lightened significantly. Summer days began early. He figured everyone was hungry now, so he handed out the beverages from the bag at his feet. Then there were the sandwiches.

After everyone had had their fill, Sora looked at Saiko in the rearview mirror and called out to Saiko, "Bro, can you look at places to visit in Sapporo, Hokkaido?" he requested.

"All right," he said. He removed his laptop from his luggage. He placed it on his knee and adjusted the angle so that Gojo could see it as well. He remembers closing the laptop with the webpage the other day when he opened it by clutching the top lid. As a result, the last video he left was most likely still open.

"I didn't know you also liked 'My Hero Academia?" Gojo said.

"You also watch anime?" Saiko asked.

"Yeah, my little sister kept talking to me about it, hahaha." Gojo chuckled remembering his adorable little sister.

"Oh, I see," Saiko said and smiled.

Saiko then opened a new tab and searched 'Best places to visit in Hokkaido' and found the "Museum of Hokkaido".

"Bro, Museum of Hokkaido, it's a permanent exhibition dedicated to the nature, history, and culture of Hokkaido."

"Oh! Well said then." Gojo excitedly said. "I've always wanted to go there."

"Is that correct? We'll travel to the end of the earth if that's what you want!" said Saiko. He began his ridiculous tactics. Although it began a bit quickly, Gojo enjoyed it.

After a two-hour journey, chatting cheerfully, they finally arrived at the Museum of Hokkaido. They got out of the vehicle and stretched. Sora and Sakura started walking forward holding hands.

Saiko and Gojo followed behind them. Both were envious. Both were waiting for the first step from the other. But no one took that step.

When they arrived at the entrance, a tour guide greeted them.

"Welcome, sir! Is this your first time here?"

"Yes, for the first time," Sora replied.

"Would you like me to guide you?" the tour guide asked.

Looking at Sakura and Saiko, Sora says, "Okay."

"Then this way, sir." he led the way and began to explain.

"This permanent exhibition is dedicated to the nature, history, and culture of Hokkaido. Also known as Mori-no-Charanga..."

The guide was telling something, but it was only Sora and Sakura who listened.

Saiko and Merve were still arguing over who should go first. Saiko couldn't take it any longer and collected all of his might in his right arm. But his bravery only allowed him to move his pinky finger. Surprisingly, it was plenty. Gojo had finally taken his first stride and had touched his pinky finger. What occurred next was completely unexpected. Finally, they physically 'grasped' each other's hands. They both noticed a little reddened face and a brilliant smile as they gazed at each other.

Sora must have picked up on something because he turned around and glanced at the two. When he saw them in this situation, he couldn't help but smile. He murmured to Sakura, who also gazed at them. Sora smiled and turned to face the guide, saying, 'Well done.'

Meanwhile, the sky was darkening, and rain clouds were forming in the midst of this dry summer.

They arrived at the last and most magnificent portion of the museum, in the middle, encircled by a protective structure, after wandering for fifteen minutes. The animal designs on the columns in the middle may be seen, but not totally, from the tiny bridge. (I never went in there, but I'll make some stuff up for this fiction.)

Saiko looked at the columns and said, "Isn't it beautiful?"

"It's nice, but I didn't bring my glasses. I can't see it this far."

Saiko had been given an ultimatum. "Wait here," he replied, and began racing after him, hoping to reach the tour guide who had finished recounting his story. Meanwhile, he extracted thirteen thousand yen from his wallet and placed it in his hand.

"Brother, my lover forgot his glasses, he can't see from this distance, can we please have a 'closer look' for a minute or two?" he said to the tour leader, shaking his hand.

The tour guide looked into his palm and spotted the paper money. He believed it was an excellent supplement to the minimum wage. But he remained hesitant. With his cheerful expression, the guide continued to gaze at Saiko like an idiot.

Saiko decided to make one last excuse after his stupid looks. Because he had no more money to pay.

"You see, brother, there is no one but us. Two minutes,"

The guide checked his surroundings and agreed, saying 'whatever'.

Saiko immediately ran and took Gojo to the stairs next to the guide.

Gojo became aware of what had occurred and followed Saiko to the stairs. They followed the guide down the steps and began gazing at the columns. Meanwhile, the sky did not remain silent and began to rumble.

"It's magnificent," Gojo murmured, looking at the columns. He turned around to see Saiko staring at him innocently.

"They're not as much as you," Saiko pointed out. At that point, both of them closed their eyes, and the event shown in the film occurred. The two began to kiss passionately in the center of the museum's historic columns. They parted after a few seconds and even stared at each other innocently. They continued to scrutinize the pillars sheepishly while Saiko scratched his head and took a step back.

"Time's up, we have to go upstairs," remarked the guide. Saiko will be so delighted that he will trip over a fist-sized stone. He struck his head on a tiny, circular ledge on the other pillar as he lurched forward. What he didn't notice was that the ridge had caved inward like a button as a result of the hit.

He raised his head and gazed above. While massaging the affected area and exclaiming "Ow!"

"BOOOOOOOMMM". His gaze was greeted with a yellow lightning bolt the size of a pillar in front of him.

"Fu**," he muttered, as lightning hit him in the center of his brow. This thunderbolt struck him and shattered him. The guide, Gojo, and the pillars shared Saiko's blood and bursting body pieces.

Gojo stood there in surprise, his eyes wide.
