Garmadon moved into the ninja's room which I find kinda hilarious considering the circumstances. I'm planning on observing him for the time being. After I quickly left last night, I know they had a brief meeting, but still didn't speak for long. This morning they're having a meeting to catch Wu up with everything that's happened the past few weeks he's been gone.

I still haven't spoken to Garmadon yet, which is kinda ridiculous.

"It's your dad, Lindsey, just go talk to him."

But I just haven't yet. The only one I've spoken to is Zane and even that's been pretty brief. I've mainly been in the vents, watching everyone, but mostly dad. I want to see what he's like first.

They're all in the bridge at the moment. The boys look very annoyed with dad's presence. None more than Kai. Nya looks like she's just as pissed, but does a way better job of hiding it than her brother does.

Dad stands beside Uncle, arms crossed behind his back and paying attention to the conversation. He doesn't look at the boys angered expressions, simple ignores them entirely.

At the moment we're all on the same side. Whether the boys and Nya like it or not, whether dad likes it or not, they all need each other. I'm sure if I asked the boys they would insist they could take care of the snakes without an issue, but they don't dare go against Sensei's orders.

"So where are we at with the 4 Fangblades?" Uncle starts

"Pythor's managed to take the first 2," Jay explains, but there's still 2 left."

"And we only need 1 in order to prevent him from unleashing the Great Devourer." Cole adds

"Is that what his plan is? I'm I really that oblivious? Wait. If this snake still exists where the hell has it been? You'd think a legendary snake would be more well known."

"Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Uncle questions

"No, but the falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity." Zane replies

"Good, if we find the Fangblade, we find Lloyd."

"Yes, thank you Uncle for taking this seriously!"

"Kai and Nya, prepare the deck and double check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity." He instructs

"Yes, Sensei." They respond and start to leave the control room.

Kai however, has a staring contest with my dad as he does so. He's glaring daggers at him, "I have my eye on you."

Dad simply smiles at him. It's a weird innocent smile used by someone who is non innocent in every way possible. It makes me smirk because I make the same exact face all the time. Kai doesn't take his eyes off him and walks straight into the doorframe, banging his head.

Uncle sighs and shakes his head at the same time I giggle. It's louder than I meant too, echoing through the vents, and the others in the room look around for the source of it. Only Zane glances up at the vent door above them on the side wall. But he quickly looks away with a small smile.

Nya grabs Kai's arm and pulls him behind her out of the room. A moment later he returns and makes a gesture to show that he's watching Garmadon. She quickly grabs him again and drags him away finally.

Sensei shakes his head again and turns to the others, "Jay, did you say the falcon was programmed?"

"Zane did actually."

"Well, the first time Zane ever saw the falcon, it led us to the twin's treehouse with the Hypnobrai tribe. After that it showed Zane the Bounty. Then he saw it in a dream about the Green Ninja. But this time it led us to the place Zane was built and where he gained his true potential. So every time we see him, he leads us to something big and important." Jay explains, "since he's a droid as well, Zane and I were able to program him to be on alert for Serpentine and report back if spotted."

"Yes," Zane says with a nod, "he is constantly patrolling for us now. He is able to fly all over Ninjago without the need of a rest. If he finds anything, a signal will go off. Our programs are linked so I will know immediately."

He nods, "and how has, Lindsey been?"

Cole chuckles nervously, "She may or may not have snuck away the day you left and infiltrated a snake base, almost getting herself caught again."

Uncle Wu closes his eyes and shakes his head.

"Yes, but we were able to get to her in time though. And thankfully she wasn't hurt." Zane adds, "she hasn't snuck away since."

"Yeah... but something did happen to her when we got back to the ship." Jay adds slowly

I furrow my eyebrows as I wait for him to continue.

"What happened to her?" Dad asks, eyebrows furrowed as well.

"Well," Cole starts, "She was really mad at us for brining her back her and kept getting angrier and angrier the more we talked with her. We were just trying to get her to understand that we'd take care of it and she didn't have to go in at it alone. Finally she became furious with us and left the deck, but..."

"But what?" Wu asks

"There was a moment where her eyes turned purple, Sensei." Zane finally admits

"So I wasn't imagining thing, Jay did say my eyes were purple."

"Purple eyes?" Garmadon asks, not really looking for an answer, "has it happened since?"

"Am I crazy or does he sound sad?"

"No. Only it has only been that one instance." Zane responds

Wu strokes his beard without a word, but finally Jay says, "is it a side effect of Devourer Venom?"

"But his eyes are red, not purple... this could totally be something else."

"Note the sarcasm."

"Yes, I would say so." Wu replies, "it would seem that when she gets extremely upset that the signs of it show."

"Does that mean Lloyd has it too?" Cole asks

"That we cannot know for sure at this time."

Everyones quiet for a moment, but finally Wu speaks again, "The only thing we can do for now is make sure the ship as well as all of us are ready to depart the moment they are spotted."

"More waiting!" I silently groan to myself and roll my eyes dramatically, "I swear if something doesn't happen soon, I'm gonna go ballistic! Or something completely irrational and stupid."

"Now, Zane and Jay, you stay in here and make sure everything is fully functional. Cole, let us join the others on deck and help prepare the Bounty."

Over the next few days, I still make it a habit to spy on dad. I'll speak with him eventually.

He has some bizarre routines. For one thing, he brushes his teeth with a knife. Like an actual knife.

"I guess that's one way to keep his fangs so sharp... but what if he cuts his tongue?"

Every night at dinner, he eats something called Condensed Evil. I have no idea what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's alive.

"Even if I do turn evil one day, I refuse to eat that."

He sunbathes at night or even in the middle of rainstorms sometimes. So while the ninja are trying to fly the ship as smoothly as possible, avoiding the lightning strikes as much as possible, he's on the deck relaxing and even sleeping sometimes.

One time I snuck into the vents really late at night because I heard a weird noise coming from down the hall in the boys room. I discovered dad doing... I don't even know what it was exactly, but he had this big electrical orb of dark energy. It was bright and flashing like lightning bolts except made with darkness?

I have no idea, all I know is it was weird and was keeping the boys up. He didn't seem to care though. He just laughed when Kai snapped, "do you have to do that? We're trying to sleep."

I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty hilarious.

Kai's been annoyed with his very presence since the moment he showed up and I don't think that's changing for anything. The others however, have seemed to accept it on some level. They definitely don't like him, but don't glare at him every time he enters a room.

Kai insists that he's up to something though and refuses to let up on him until he knows what. I'm not sure how he's planning on taking care of him single-handedly, but he's determined, I'll give him that.

The others were all either in the bridge or various parts of the ship waiting for the falcon to report back any news on the serpentine.

Dad's on the deck, both sets of arms crossed behind his back and staring over the ledge. I snuck up to the balcony and I've just been watching him, waiting for him to do something else peculiar for me to contemplate on.

"For being a villain he sure can be quiet and composed. I don't think I'll ever get over him having 4 arms... I mean his overall appearance is unreal, but the 4 arms is really getting me."

"How often do you sit up there going unnoticed?" He asks me suddenly, breaking into my thoughts.

I kinda jump at being noticed, but quickly pretend like nothing happened the moment he turns around and faces me.

I smirk, "I go by undetected by them all the time."

He nods and smiles slyly at me, "in the vents?"

"So you know about that? Did Wu tell you?"

"No, I don't know if he knows fully or not. I heard you laugh the other day and had a feeling that's where you were hiding. It's something I would've done as a kid."

"Do Lloyd and I do something similar to dad? I guess that's cool even if it is just a convenient way to spy on people."

"Yeah, I think Zane's the only one who knows I'm in there. But where else am I supposed to go to eavesdrop on the others? Sure it may get me into trouble, but who cares?" I shrug

It's quiet for a moment as he walks up the steps to the balcony and sits down beside me.

"It seems like you and Lloyd have a habit of getting into trouble from what your uncle has told me."

I roll my eyes with a huff, "we grew up at Darkly's. Why do people always seem to forget this? And we do not have a habit of getting into trouble... we have a habit of causing trouble." I shake my head, "People seem to think that Lloyd and I just scheme mindlessly, but every plan we've ever made has been calculated with set plans for numerous outcomes... it just so happens that our plans happen to screw a lot of people over."

He chuckles at that for a moment before saying, "but with snakes?"

I laugh nervously, "I'll admit that its not our finest moment... well now I can say that, but at the time we released them, no we didn't care."

He hums in response, "It is unwise to trust snakes. They are vicious and manipulative. They only care about themselves."

"Something I unfortunately learned after releasing them. Again, not my finest moment."

We're quiet for another few minutes. I keep sneaking glances at him, waiting for something else to happen.

"And how is it without your brother?"

My eyes widen slightly, "Terrible! We've never been separated in our entire lives and now its been over a month?! I might do something drastic if something doesn't happen soon."

He gives me a bizarre, if not slightly amused, look as he waits for me to continue.

"I am incredible, if not slightly insane when it comes to being drastic. I do it all the time regardless if it's necessary or not." I finish with a shrug.

He laughs at this and just upon hearing it, I'm sure I'm making the craziest face to it. It's the weirdest laugh I've ever heard. It's loud and booming and slightly evil sounding which makes since, but it's so completely chaotic I have to suppress my laughs just towards hearing it.

We talk for hours after that, just sitting on the balcony, not paying any notice to the others in the slightest.

He asks about what other plots Lloyd and I have done. Sometimes he laughs at them, sometimes he shakes his head at how over the top my twin and I are and sometimes my story will lead him into one of his own. He told me numerous stories of him and Wu as children and let me tell you, Wu is not the perfect child people seem to think he is. Sure his brother is the literal Dark Lord, but he wasn't exactly a saint either.

"And he calls Lloyd and I reckless for the things we've done."

Our conversation is finally stopped when Jay walks up the steps, "have either of you seen Kai?"

"No." we reply

He groans dramatically, "he's supposed to be in the bridge for surveillance, but he's not in there."

"So no ones watching the cameras?" I question

"Well, Zane is now. But my point still stands that is was his turn." he walks back down the steps and continues his search.

"It's not that big of a ship. It's not like there are many places he could go." Dad says standing up, "either way, I think it is time for us to rejoin the others and see about your brother's disappearance."

"Sounds like a plan." I add jumping up

We walk together, heading for the bridge when we see Kai in the hallway.

"Jay didn't look very hard."

He's standing on a stool and peering in the little window on the door to Sensei's meditation room.

"Nya's the Green Ninja?" he whispers quietly

I roll my eyes, "Of course this is something about that."

"What are you doing here?" Dad asks startling Kai and causing him to fall off the stool with a thud.

I giggle quietly as he gets back up, glaring at dad as he does, "What are you doing here?" He retorts

"Evil never sleeps." He replies walking closer to Kai

"Yeah, well, good never rests."

"Maybe we should take care of this right now." Dad says kinda annoyedly

"I was hoping you'd say that." Kai snaps, shoving him back a little.

They both continue to retaliate by shoving each other around, not actually fighting, but it's still kinds hilarious. Entertaining to say the least.

"Guys," Nya shouts joining us in the hallway, "Stop it! What are you doing out here?"

I groan, "dammit, Nya, I was just about to place bets. Smart money's on dad."

Nya gives me a peculiar look, but dad and Wu both chuckle lightly.

"But to answer your question," dad says to Nya, "perhaps you should be asking Mr. Snoopy Pants that question."

"Mr. Snoopy Pants? Really?"

"Kai, were you spying on me?"

"No way!" he replies quickly, "I was just keeping watch." He's quiet for a second before asking, "so are you the Green Ninja?"

"What?" Nya exclaims, "Of course not."

"So the weapons didn't tell you? That means I still have a chance." He responds with a sigh of relief.

"Truth is, she never wanted to know." Uncle Wu explains

"At first, all I wanted was to be like you, but after seeing how obsessed you've become and discovering what I could do on my own, I'm happy being a Samurai."

"Sp then who's the Green Ninja?" Kai asks turning to Sensei.

"He doesn't care that his sister's telling him how obsessed he is? In one ear and out the other."

"Perhaps we will never know." Uncle finally says

"Never know? Then what's the point of having a Green Ninja in the first place?"

A door down the hall opens up and Jay leans out of it, "Kai, you were supposed to be in the bridge."

"See, Jay? I knew you could find him."

He rolls his eyes at me, but smiles lightly, "Zane's falcon spotted them."

"Thank the first Spinjitzu Master!" I exclaim and dash down the hall to the bridge.

The others follow behind me. The camera's show the Serpentine heading towards a volcano. One of them is holding a long metal rod with a cage at the end, Lloyd inside of it, hands holding onto the bars.

"Looks like Pythor's at the Temple of Fire." Nya says

"That means the Fangblade is there." Kai adds

"And my brother!" I snap at the same time dad says, "and my son."

"That's the same Fire Temple where Kai and Lord Garmadon first faced off." Jay adds

I glance between the 2, "you guys fought in a Fire Temple?"

"Yes, we did." Kai answers, turning to glare at dad, "And if my memory serves me correct, I'd say one of us cheated back when we last fought."

"And I remember someone needing their Sensei to save them." Dad retorts

"How is it possible for them to be this immature?... I mean, I know I'm no walk in the park, but still. You know its gotta be bad if I'm noticing is!"

"Guys!" Cole cuts in, "For the sake of the Fangblade and Lloyd, can we please just get along?"

Nya ignores the conversation all together and continues to look for information about the Fire Temple, "Since the last time we've been there, it looks like the volcano has grown unstable. The place is a powder keg just waiting to blow up. This will be a highly combustible environment."

I gasp excitedly with a jump, "Yay! Let's go in!"

"You are not coming with us." Cole says

"Why not?" I whine, "I've been in explosions before. This can't be too much worse."

"When were you in an explosion?" Zane asks, giving me a concerned expression

"When I blew up a powers station." I reply with an eye roll, "Why does everyone seem to forget that I did that?"

"Because it's not something you should be proud of!" Jay exclaims raising and dropping his arms dramatically at the same time Garmadon laughs and says, "That's my girl!"

I smirk at Jay, "dad seems to think it's something to be proud of."

The boys and Nya all groan. Dad and Wu speak quietly to each other for a moment before dad leaves the room.

"But this is different," Jay continues, " We'll be fighting armed and deadly snakes in a highly combustible environment about to blow up!"

"You don't have to keep selling it to me!" I respond happily, becoming more and more hyper the longer the conversation goes on. I'm practically bouncing off the walls at this point.

"The ninja are right, Lindsey." Wu says, "you will be staying on the ship. As for everyone else, we will do what we must."

"Yes, Sensei." Zane says, "But where are our weapons?"

Kai scans the room immediately after hearing this, "and why is Lord Garmadon not here?" He adds and runs from the room.

"Wait, Kai." Wu calls out, but Kai ignores him and continues. Sensei sighs heavily.

"Where did Garmadon go?" Cole asks

"I asked him to get the Golden Weapons for me."

"Well," Nya says walking towards the doors, "if I know my brother, he's about to do something stupid."

"Even I could've told you that." I mumble

There's suddenly the sound of a struggle going on from down the hall.

"And apparently he works fast." Jay says quickly and we all leave the bridge to find Kai and dad.

We all run below deck following the sound of a fight going on. The door to Sensei's meditation room slam shut.

Nya runs over to it and tries to open it only yo discover it's locked, "what're you doing?" she shouts when she sees her brother through the window.

"Discovering my true potential!"

Jay grabs the door handle as well and tries to force it open, "it won't budge!"

Nya sighs and turns to the others, "Kai thinks he'll unlock his power if he stands up the Lord Garmadon." she explains

"Why would he think that?"

"Because he thinks he's the Green Ninja!"

"Well, if we don't open this door soon, I think he's gonna be mincemeat." Cole says

I roll my eyes, "You guys are overdramatic. Dad won't kill him."

They all look at me with crazy expressions that say "you seriously believe that?!"

"Oh, Come on!" I say rolling my eyes, "maybe seriously injured at worse."

"What do you think I meant be mincemeat?" Cole asks, "you know
