So the ninja succeeded in stopping the 5 tribes uniting.

"Boring!"

But apparently it's a big win for them so whatever. I mean, they betrayed us so I don't want their plans to succeed without Lloyd and I, but it might've been entertaining.

Anyway. The day starts off by the boys getting a package delivered to them. However, the ship was flying at the time the mailman was trying to deliver it. He rigged up his bike with wings that flap when he peddles. It took forever for him to catch up with us, but he finally did.

"He is way too dedicated to delivering the mail!"

We're all sitting in the dining room when Uncle walks in with the box. The boy's were asking my brother and I how we thought we could ever handle the snakes when we were still with them.

I roll my eyes, "It was so easy. The snakes hypnotized themselves and we took advantage of the situation."

"So you got lucky?" Jay deadpans

"Yes." we reply

"But then they were able to break free of its effects. So what then?" Kai asks

"We simply made deals with the other tribes and promised they'd be able to get revenge on each other." Lloyd says as if it's obvious, which it totally is.

"But then they still betrayed you!" Cole exclaims with a slight laugh

"Which is why Jack the Rabbit said to never trust a snake!" We say in unison making Uncle Wu chuckle quietly to himself. Everyone else gives us a confused stare.

"I guess that's one good lesson you learned." Zane says finally, "If the lesson actually stuck that is?"

"Who knows?"

"So would you go try control another tribe now if given the chance?" Jay questions

We both hum, "maybe." we finally reply

They roll their eyes at us.

"But what would've you done to control them? You have no idea what their venom does." Nya says

"Yeah," Kai says, "not to mention the tribe leaders all have their staffs. How would you handle him?"

My twin and I think this over for a second. Tongues slightly sticking out, making a quiet humming sound as we think.

"First, I'll stomp on his tail." Lloyd says finally

"Then when he turns, a thunder clap to his ears!" I add

"Finally, when he's stunned," my brother says, voice becoming more dramatic.

"We'll disarm him!" We finish together excitedly

"Too late! He's already hypnotized you" Cole says, "and now you're under his control."

"Or he's already put you in a squeeze." Zane adds

"Or spit on you with hallucinatory venom." Kai says shaking his head, "trust me, bad stuff!"

I start laughing at the mention of Kai being under the venom. That might've been the most exciting thing to happen in this shop since we got here.

Lloyd ignores it and turns to our Uncle, "what's the best way to stub a serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?"

"Easy!" I exclaim before he can respond, "the Hypnobrai are the ones can hypnotize people, the Fangprye are the ones that can turn things into snake with their fangs and the Anacondrai..." I think for a second, "I have no idea what Pythor does besides betray people and steal already stolen maps."

"What about the other 2?" He asks me, eyebrows furrowed

"Well, we would've known if it wasn't for the ninja forcing us on this ship." I reply, giving the boys a bored stare.

Uncle Wu chuckles to himself, "well, sadly, it is actually the Sacred Flute you 4 carelessly lost." He explains

The boys all blush, eyes wide with embarrassment. Lloyd and I burst out laughing all over again, not caring in the slightest about the issue at hand. I'm surprised to see Nya quietly laughing as well, covering it with her hand.

"Hey!" Jay exclaims, "no, no, no, we didn't lose it! Python stole it."

"Whatever the case." Wu says nonchalantly, pouring himself a cup of tea, "Without it I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger."

"Don't worry. I've almost reached my full potential." Cole explains, "And when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute."

Lloyd and I furrow our eyebrows in a similar manner, "Full potential?" I question a the same time he says, "Green Ninja?"

We're ignored however as the boys start responding to Cole's statement.

"You're gonna be the Green Ninja?!" Kai laughs mockingly, "don't make me laugh."

"I thought it was decided that I was destined to become the Green Ninja." Zane says simply

Now it's Jay's turn to laugh in a condescending way, "Oh no. The only thing decided about you, Zane, is that you're weird." He ends with putting a hand on Zane's shoulder.

The boys all start picking back and forth. Nya and Wu merely drink their tea, not caring in the slightest. I lean on the table, chin resting in my hands and watch in amusement as they all continue fighting about who's the best fighter, best at training or best at saving the civilians.

"Oh, how I love their lover spats." I remark

My brother rolls his eyes and stands up, already bored of the situation, "yeah, yeah, yeah." He replies to me then walks over to Uncle Wu, "What's in the box?"

He takes the lid off as he announces, "you're new uniforms."

This immediately gets the boys attention and stops the arguing as they all gasp excitedly and take their respective colors.

"Whoa! They've got armor!" Jay exclaims

"I love the gold highlights." Kai adds

"Battle claws!"

"The material is really light and breathable." Zane adds rather calmly despite his shared excitement.

"Is this him excited? Is this him showing emotion? Maybe he really is a robot."

"Nothing for me?" my brother asks slightly disappointed

"Who would mail us, Lloyd?"

Wu looks between the 2 of us, "You can have the box." He finally says

"You honestly think we want a box" I ask

"Just go play with the box, use your imagination." Nya says with a shrug

"We're not kids!" we exclaim together

"Sure about that?" Kai asks, still looking over his gi.

The bridge's alarm goes off before we can respond. It's been going off a lot lately. Who knew having snakes out and about could cause so many issues?

We all rush into the control room and look at the screen.

"It looks like a small faction of our slithering friends are stirring up trouble over at Mega Monster Amusement Park." Cole says, pinpointing the location on the screen.

"Amusement park?" my brother and I exclaim together, my voice coming out with a slight squeak at the end, "can we go?"

"Can we please go?" Lloyd asks, "We can help!"

"Did my brother just say please?"

"We'll be on our best behavior, I promise!" I add

"Do you even have a best behavior?" Kai asks

I shrug, "I don't know, but there's a first time for everything!"

Jay rolls his eyes, "If we brought you along, all we'd be doing is brining the monsters to the amusement park."

"I know, we'd fit right in!" my brother says happily

Wu shakes his head, "I'm sorry, niece and nephew. This is just for the ninja at the moment. They will handle the serpent problem."

"Ahhh." my twin and I say together, shoulders dropping, "ninja get all the fun." I say

"We've never even been to an amusement park." Lloyd says

"Are you surprised, Lloyd?" I ask, "we've never done anything. Never been to a carnival or a fair. Not even the movies."

"Maybe pity is the way to go with these guys?"

Lloyd plays right along with me, "Never been to a museum, the aquarium. Never even had a birthday party." He adds, with fake sadness.

"What have you guys done?" Cole asks slowly, eyebrows furrowed

"Blown up a power substation!" I answer cheerfully making them all roll their eyes in realization of how we tried to trick them into taking us out of pity.

"The real joke is on them though. For once, we weren't lying."

The boys all head out, changing into their new uniforms first. Uncle Wu, my brother I stay on the Bounty which hovers over the park. Like the last time the boys had a mission, Nya is suddenly nowhere to be found.

My twin and I sit in the control room, watching the surveillance in boredom. The cameras show the park. People screaming and running away from the snakes. Suddenly, an enormous robot lands in the park and single handedly takes care of all the snakes, having them all tied up in a minute.

Mine and Lloyd's mouths both drop open in shock. Uncle Wu watching the scene with interest, but doesn't say anything.

"What was that?" We ask together as the mechanical giant flies out of there the same time the ninja land their golden vehicles in the open lot.

"I believe that was the mysterious Samurai." Uncle replies simply, "It also means the park is safe now."

We watch as the cameras show the boys in front of the tied up snakes, just as confused as we are.

"I have to go speak with them." He adds, "Care to come along?"

We both jump up, "To the amusement park?" we ask together in anticipation.

He shrugs, "I don't see why we can't go on a few rides."

Uncle Wu lands the Bounty and Lloyd and I rush inside the second it touches the ground. Uncle leaves for a few minutes to get us some tickets for the rides. Nya suddenly standing beside us, "are we staying for awhile, after all?"

"Where did you go?" I ask

"I was on the ship the whole time." she replies simply

The 4 of us go over to the boys, still trying to figure out what happened. A couple of girls explains how the Samurai flew in, saved the day and left without a trace.

"Who is this new guy?!" Kai asks annoyedly

"Whoever he is, he's stealing our thunder!" Cole responds

"And we just got these cool new ninja suits." Jay says with a huff, "I'm gonna say it, I hate Samurai!"

"Do I hear a hint of jealousy?" Wu asks, holding 3 cotton candies. He hands 2 of them over to Lloyd and I while happily eating his own, "maybe this can be a lesson for you."

The boys all groan, but Wu continues. "The lesson is iron sharpens iron."

"I do not follow, Sensei." Zane says, shaking his head.

"Ah, come on, Mr. Robot." I say simply, ripping off a piece of cotton candy. He gives me a strange look, but doesn't say anything about it.

"Healthy competition can help you." Uncle continues, "you can reach your true potential faster. Do not be jealous of this Samurai, let it inspire you." He speaks slowly and methodically while explaining this to the ninja. However, his voice becomes chipper, "Ferris wheel!" he says happily, "Come along, twins."

Lloyd and I follow behind him, leaving the boys and Nya behind.

Wu spends the entire rest of the day with us at the park. We go on the Ferris wheel at least 10 times.

"Geez, Uncle Wu loves this thing!"

However, he willingly goes on every single ride Lloyd and I ask him too. Even the rollercoaster. That quickly becomes mine and my brother's favorite. It was everything we ever imagined it would be and more. The exhilaration was amazing and the weightless feeling was crazy, only to be slammed back into the seat in a second. We went on it even more than the Ferris wheel.

We road the bumper cars, the tilt-a-whirl, the rotor, the scrambler, the log flume, helter skelter, shoot the chute, loop-o-plane and too many more to keep track of. We went into the fun house, but it's monster addition given the theme of the park. The hallway of mirrors was terrifying in the best way.

We played numerous games as well. The ring toss, bust a balloon, skee-ball, milk bottle knockdown, and balloon blast. My brother and I lost most of them, but it was too hilarious watching Uncle Wu to care. He was surprising good at everything, but was 100% chill the entire time. Merely saying, "well that was fun." Before moving onto the next game.

It was probably one of the best days I've ever had... except maybe the day Lloyd beat up Gene.

We finally went back to the Bounty before dinner. The boys went back to the ship sometime after we spoke with them earlier. They appear to still be annoyed with the Samurai. However, they came up with some contest against each other that made them not as irritable as they probably would've been.

They decided that whoever is skilled enough to catch the Samurai is the best of the bunch and will be the destined Green Ninja.

They discuss this with Sensei during dinner. He doesn't seem to mind it in the slightest since it seems that it will keep them all training more.

I stare at them without interest, feeling too tired from the day to care much about it. Maybe it'll be more entertaining once the competition actually starts. It could be amusing to see what they come up with in order to get the Samurai's attention though.

~

Over the next few days, snakes are spotted all over Ninjago causing the boys to have to split up in order to keep up with the sightings.

Hypnobrai are seen in the snow hills. Zane goes in to take care of them, ink for the Samurai to have it resolved by the time he shows up.

Kai goes to the forest to deal with some Constrictais, but just like Zane, it's taken care of before he has a chance to do anything.

Cole goes to the caves to handle some Venomaris, but the Samurai is already finished by the time he shows up.

Jay was by far the most hilarious. There weren't even any snakes to take care of. He simply pretended to be a damsel in distress, tied up to the train tracks, waiting the Samurai's assistance. Which he did show up, reroute the train and leave. Jay didn't have a chance to catch whoever this guy is.

I honestly don't know what he was trying to accomplish.

The only obnoxious thing to happen is Lloyd and I being watched constantly! All the boys and Nya take different days to babysit us which means that we're dragged around to various parts of the city while they patrol or sitting on the Bounty all day while Nya watching surveillance cameras.

"How in the world are they not bored out of their minds with their job?! It's a bunch of standing around, waiting for something to happen."

Although Nya does have a habit disappearing at random times and always claiming to be in her room or some other room on the ship. However, this cannot be the case considering my brother and I sneak all the boat constantly and never see her in these times.

"Where is the name of the first Spinjitzu master does she go?!"

Today happens to be Kai's day to watch us, but instead of patrolling around his motorcycle with him, he stops in front of an arcade.

"Okay, I know it's my turn to look after you 2, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around." He says, handing us some money to buy tokens, "I have a feeling the Samurai may show up."

"Can we help?" We ask together, my brother just sounds a tad more excited about it than I do.

"No." He says immediately

We both groan, "at least drop us off at a decent arcade." We reply

"Sorry, shorties." He says and speeds off down the street.

I turn towards the door with another groan, "should we just find somewhere else to hang out while we wait for him?" I ask

My brother hums, "he told us to stay put."

I give him a weird look, eyebrows furrowed, "who are you?!"

He blinks at me for a second before his eyes widen in realization, "did I seriously just say that?! What's happening? Living with the ninja is messing with me."

"Don't worry." I say, "this is easily rectified. We just have to get you doing something conniving quick!"

He nods eagerly in agreement, "question is what?"

I hum for a second, "we could-"

But I stop talking when a hissing voice grabs my attention.

"I hear he found it." The voice says, coming from behind the arcade around the alley way, "and everyone is gathering again."

My brother and I sneak down the alley and peer around the corner to see a group of snakes talking behind the buildings.

"Impossible." Another snake responds, "the Lost City does not exist."

"Well, it isn't lost anymore." Scales says, "and I hear there's gonna be a fight."

"A fight? Count me in." Another one replies and they all slither behind Scales, getting on a bus.

"All a board. Next stop, Ouroboros."

"What is the world is Ouroboros?" I whisper to Lloyd.

He shrugs as we sneak back to the front of the arcade, "a lost city apparently... or a recently found lost city." He suddenly gasps happily, "this is just the conniving scheme we need!"

I quirk an eyebrow, "what is?"

He roll my eyes like it's obvious, "we sneak in the bus and go to the city with the snakes!"

"What is that gonna do?"

"We're leaving the arcade and infiltrating the snake's base. We can figure out what they have planned and tell the ninja."

"That sounds more like helping and less conniving."

"Come on, Linds. Do we really want the snakes to get away with their plans after betraying us?"

I immediately shake my head, "no way! They can't rule Ninjago without us!"

"Exactly. So let's go figure out what they planned!"

I nod, "alright, let's do it. But how are we gonna sneak on the bus?"

He hums for a second and looks around, "aha!" He says, pointing in he arcade window.

On display is a couple snake costumes.

"Well, thank the first Spinjitzu master, what are the odds?!" I ask as we both rush inside, using the money Kai gave us to buy the costumes.

We each have a hat covered in scales, contacts that make our eyes look yellow and with slitted pupils like there's and fake fangs.

We rush behind the alley again just as the last snakes are boarding the bus and walk on with them.

"Hey you, hold it there." Scales says, sitting in the divers seat. Lloyd and I stop for a second, I glance back at my brother then back to Scales.

"Did we seriously get spotted this quickly?! We couldn't have been made this fast!"

"Last one in closes the door." He says finally

"Sure thing." Lloyd says trying his best to imitate his hissing voice.

It seems to work well enough because he doesn't say anything else to us and we're able to walk to the back row and take a seat without a single issue.
