The Saengtham family had a rule of meeting together for lunch everyday at 1 pm sharp. It was followed by everyone and was a means of keeping the family together. Most of the times the Lunch was peaceful with little discussions about politics and work. However, Today the Youngest member of the Family had decided to join the Other Three for Lunch. 

The servants of the Main House were extremely scared. There was a new rumor going amongst the servants of the east mansion that Khun Pete had changed but still it was just a rumor according to them. But, after seeing him today they might believe the rumors.

Pete entered the Dining Hall at Ten past One. And all the members stopped eating. It had been years since the last time they had seen the youngest at Lunch. He usually asked the servants to bring it in his room before throwing a tantrum and beating the head chef.

"I am sorry I am late today."

"It's Okay. Let's continue eating." The father says.

"Umm.... This Tuna fish ........Head Chef, Did you make it?" I ask looking at the man that is sweating and trembling beside me.

"Y-Yes....K-Khun Pete." 

"It's extremely delicious. Would it be fine to ask the recipe? I would love to learn making this dish."

The Head Chef didn't say anything. Was I wrong to ask him for his recipe? Maybe in this world Chefs like to keep their recipes a secret.

"I am sorry if that's a burden for you." I say 

I can hear the servants gasp and also the Chef's surprised face. What's up with all such exaggerated reactions? Is it that surprising to hear Pete say Sorry?  

"Okay... Let's talk less and eat." My father says.

I continue eating as I hear Father and Phi Pat discussing about some Company affairs.

"Wouldn't it be better to launch the new product during the festival? We can even increase the price for more profitability." I listen keenly as they discuss their new product plans.

"Excuse me, Can I suggest something?"

"Yes you may Pete." Father smiles as if looking forward to what I might say.

"I think as the Product is catered towards the general public we can reduce it's cost initially or better provide freebies in the form of small packets, so Instead of Introducing the product to the market, we must first create the demand for it." I suggest 

"Did you really think of that?" Pin asks surprised.

"That's a brilliant idea Pete. I didn't know you had a knack for Business." Phi Pat praises me. 

"Why don't you work for our Company. Maybe you could learn new things and help our Business." Father suggests.

I stay quiet because I don't know what to answer. Father seems to have taken the hint as he diverts the topic. 

To be honest my opinion wasn't really an original idea. Just something that's done in my world. So, it didn't sit right with me to be praised for something that truly isn't mine. But since I helped my family in some ways, I am happy and I resume eating the tasty Tuna.

My brothers and Father are busy discussing their plans when suddenly I feel itchy and lightheaded. Maybe I am a bit tired. I drink some water to calm myself but instead I am feeling worse.

I can feel my breath getting shorter and faster as It gets harder for me to breath by the second. It seems as though Phi Pin noticed my pale face "Pete are you fine?" He asks as he touches my shoulder.

I nod when I clearly am feeling otherwise. But, I don't want to worry my family. Especially when our relationship have just started to get better.

I excuse myself and try to get up but all the fatigue catches up to me as I feel my legs giving up and falling but luckily Phi Pin holds me before I touch the ground.

"Pete! Pete! Call the Head Doctor immediately." I can't hear anything. I can hear faint noises of Father and Pat before I am consumed by the darkness.
