—lil time skip—
The day was almost over. Classes were done for the week thank godric. There is still a bunch of work that needs to be completed but oh well. Sirius and I also need to do our project, it's due by the end of the month. It's November 16th. We still have about half a month. We might have to meet up more than once a week. Ugh. I hate my life.
I made my way to the Gryffindor common room, that's the only place I really hang out, and pull out a book. Reading is my comfort, especially reading while it's raining. Or when I'm up in the Astronomy Tower. That's the best time to read. I don't want to be one of those girls but...I'm a bookworm. I read and I read. Probably one of the reasons why I never get invited places or asked to hang out. Oh well, I'm not complaining. I rather sit on the couch by the fire and read. Anyway, enough about my sad life. The Marauders and the girls all walk in as a group. It's so weird watching them all become friends. Especially Lily and Potter. Of course I'm friends with the girls, and I'm friends with Remus. But the other three boys still get on my nerves. Mostly Black and Potter. Pettigrew and I don't speak much. I've been meaning to get to know him though.
"Hey, Y/N." Lily says cheerfully.
"Why are you so happy?" I ask her while the other girls gather around me.
"Oh, no reason at all." She says. Of course I'm suspicious but I don't bring it up again.
After the girls and I talk for a few, the boys approach us. I don't complain about it anymore because I can't do anything to stop them, so I just let it happen.
"Hello, ladies." Remus greets.
"Hey, Remus." Us five girls say in unison.
"Why do I get the feeling they like Moony better than us." Sirius asks james, loud enough for everyone to hear though.
"I don't know mate, what does he have that we don't?" James adds.
"Oh, I know I know!" I say sarcastically, while raising my hand like a student would in a classroom. "Respect, responsibility, honesty, smart-mind, manners, kindness, loyalty, good taste in books, shall I go on?" I say while listing the great qualities of Remus.
James and Sirius look at me in annoyance. "No, Y/N, we get it." James says.
"Yes, he has all of that, but does he have the looks?" Sirius asks while plastering a stupid smirk on his face.
"Well, we know that you don't." I tell him, while turning my attention back to my book.
I just hear Sirius dramatically gasp, "How utterly disrespectful of you to say such a thing." He exaggerates.
"Pads, it's over. She got you, big time." I hear Peter say. I laugh at his comment.
We all gathered around the fire, we just started bonding. It was nice and all but, I really wanted to read. It's okay though, sometimes I miss the company and jokes. It was actually quite fun, which is weird considering it's the Marauders we are talking about.
"What time is it, Lils?." I whisper in her ear.
She wishers back, "Umm, about 7:00 now, why?" She asks.
"Just wondering, thanks." I tell her honestly.
"So, who wants to play a game?" James says out of the blue. Of course he would suggest something like that. But, the last time we played a games, it didn't go as planned. "Well?" He asks again, due to the lack of responses the first time.
"Um, I don't know Prongs, last time didn't go so well for you. Remember?" Sirius says, whispering the last part.
"Nah, come on. It will be okay. Don't worry about me, let's play a game." James insists.
"Well alright, if you say so." Sirius gives in.
"Girls? Remus, Peter? Want to play a game?" He asks us for confirmation.
We all just shrugged because we didn't care.
"Great, I'm picking the game this time." James says, having a slightly mischievous tone in his voice. Oh I'm scared. "And you all have to play!" He shouts, causing each one of us to flinch back a little bit.
"Don't pick anything too wild, Potter." Marlene warns him.
"I won't." He says, with the same mischievous tone. This time, he adds a smirk. Oh no. "But you all promise to play no matter what the game is?" He continues.
We all shook our heads yes. Some says yes as well. I was the silent one that shook their head. I was to nervous for what game he was going to pick.
"Well, what's the games Prongs?" Remus asks.
"Anyone up for some 7 minutes in heaven?"
(A/N: hey guys. It's my birthday today! I'm 16 now. I also got my drivers license! Isnt that wild.
So, this is more of a filler chapter, I'm sorry if it's not good. I have writers block at the moment but, I'll be writing new chapters in no time. I promise. I hope you all have a lovely rest of you day!)
