Error teleported in front of you, taking the blast of white light.

"ERROR!"

You yell, getting up and watching as it devoured him. Bt it didn't, instead hit something in front of him.

It looked like a large animal skull, distorted and inverted like Error. It cracked a lot, and he snapped his fingers. It disappeared. Out of the blazing confusion another skeleton was far across the clearing. He had a blue and gold jacket on, and, from what you could see, a glowing blue eye. He teleported closer to Error and you.

"heh. error, you know da#@ well your not welcome in this timeline. g e t  o u t."

He summoned a skull of his own. Error put his arm in front of you protectively, a scowl on his face.

"S-stay out o-of the G-g-gaster B-blaster's way. Don't g-get hurt."

He snaps his fingers, blue strings going out and trying to get a hold on the other skeleton. But they had meet, apparently, already. So the skeleton dodged the strings with practiced skill.

"wow, error. a girl? never thought anyone would stay alive long enough to get to now you. after all, don't you take it as your job to kill people?"

Error hesitated at this notion, you noticed. It was slight, but there.

"T-that's... n-not what I d-d-do. I g-get rid o-of t-hings that a-aren't supposed t-to be t-there!"

"heh. sure. so what about her, then? when are you going to get rid of her? you know your going to have to. eventually you will kill her."

His eye flashed and a Gaster Blaster appeared. He aimed it at Error it looked like, but suddenly a bright light flashed from behind you.

"Error, behind you!"

He turned around, teleported to you, and held on to you as he made a barricade of black bones around you to shield both blasts. You find yourself growing red on the cheeks with him being so close to you. He also seems to be glitching more than the usual amount, his eyes starting to fill with the word ERROR.

"T-that was c-c-close."

He grits his teeth and sends more blue strings at the other skeleton. This time, one catches him on the leg and Error hangs him upside down as he struggles. They quickly capture an upside-down soul, a blueish gray.

"W-wow, OT S-s-sans. T-that was a-a r-risky thing y-you just d-did."

That sinister smile climbed back up on his face, and you realize what he's about to do. You reach out and grab his arm.

"D-don't hurt him!"

But he doesn't hear you. As soon as you grabbed his hoodie he started glitching extremely, the ERRORs once again filling his eyes.

"Uh, Error?"

You say softly. The strings around-Sans, right?- slacken and he starts carefully unwrapping them. Error's still in the weird state, even after you let go. And the other Sans was getting closer. Suddenly, your soul began to glow. The fear of Error getting hurt had let you dip into your DETERMINATION.

"sorry, y/n, but i need to get to error. this is a once in a reset opportunity, 'ya know."

You didn't hesitate. Suddenly, a f/c bubble appeared, protecting you and Error. You were shocked for only a moment before you focused on keeping it up long enough. Error had a little reboot bar above his head, which was filling up fast.

"fine. i'll go. just don't let your boyfriend be seen here again, or he will have a b a d  t i m e."
