A week later, Megatron decided to train his son Shadowstalker who started to get used to his father. Megatron took him to the rooftop while Midnight took care of her daughter Darkblade. Darkblade wants to see her brother and wants to be trained too. Midnight sighs and wonders if it is the best idea. Midnight grumbles and thinks for a minute.

"We will have to have a word with your father first," replied Midnight, and Darkblade nodded her head. 

Midnight sighs, and she heads up above with Darkblade right behind her. Midnight stops at the top, where they were closer to the vents. Darkblade was right behind her and saw her father. Midnight sighed and wondered if she should get her mate to turn around or give him a signal that she was over here wanting to talk with him.

"Hey, Dark. Hi mom," meowed Shadowstalker and looked behind him.

Megatron looks behind him and sees his mate and his daughter.

"Hey Daddy, can I be trained too, please," asked Darkblade and she gave the cute eyes of really wanting to.

Megatron flinched when she was doing that and he sighs.

"Come on over here," answered Megatron, and Darkblade smiled. 

Midnight smiles and watches from the distance, and then she hears something from down below. Midnight flicked her ears and wondered what was going on in her room. Midnight looks over at Megatron and then back at the entrance. Midnight walks down the wooden boards and sees Starscream in her room. Midnight grumbles a little and rolls her eyes when she sees him.

"What do you need, Screamer?" asked Midnight in wonder.

"Have you seen Lord Megatron?" questioned Starscream and he looked up at Midnight.

"Yes, he is up above with the kits," answered Midnight. "Why do you need him?"

"Well we might have a problem," meowed Starscream and his ears went down a little.

Midnight was about to answer when something was going on down below in the big vent where the turn-in area was. Midnight flicked her ears when hearing it and she wondered what was going on in that area.

"Stay here, I will tell Megatron," meowed Midnight and she turned around and headed up above. Midnight sees them and she replies, "Megs, we have a problem down below. Starscream reported that something was going on downstairs at the entrance."

Megatron flinched a little and he looked at his mate. Megatron sighs and understands.

"Dark. Shad. Go to your mother and stay with her," ordered Megatron.

Shadowstalker and Darkblade both nodded their heads and watched their father head over to their mother. Megatron grumbled and headed down below. Midnight watches him, and she sighs. She looked over at her two kits.

"Dark, Shadow, come on down below," meowed Midnight.

The kits ran over to their mother, and Midnight sighed and headed downstairs with her kits behind her.  Shadowstalker raised his eyebrow in concern and wondered what his father was doing downstairs. Midnight goes over to the bed, lays down, looks at the entrance, and looks at her kits who are looking over at her.

"Go on ahead and play," replied Midnight. "I will keep watch. I do not know who is down below, but do not leave this room."

Shadowstalker nods his head and looks over at Darkblade who also nods. She looks over at her brother and they both start to fool around with each other. Midnight sighs and keeps an eye on her kits and the entrance where Megatron left the room with Starscream. Midnight sniffs the air to make sure that no danger is near until she hears something from Shadowstalker. Midnight looked over at him and wondered what was wrong.

"Hey, mom, Dark is missing," replied Shadowstalker. 

Midnight flinched and looked around and wondered where her daughter was. 

"I do not see her here," pointed out Midnight, and she gave her son a questioning look. "I checked to make sure that she did not go over at the entrance because she likes to head out which I always stop her."

"Well, I saw her go through something over at the dark corner," put in Shadowstalker.

Midnight flinched and her eyes went into fear when figuring it out. No. No. No, my kits have my abilities, thought Midnight and she sighed.

"Wait here," ordered Midnight. "Do not leave this room."

Shadowstalker nods his head and watches his mother and his eyes go wide when he sees her open the thing that his sister went through. Midnight went through, and she was in Shockwave's laboratory. Midnight sniffs around to find her kit. Midnight hears someone above and sees Shockwave.

"Hey, Shockwave," replied Midnight and Shockwave stopped at what he was doing and was surprised to see Midnight in his laboratory. "Umm, have you seen my daughter anywhere? She just disappeared out of nowhere."

"Nope I have not seen her," responded Shockwave and he sighed. "I will keep an eye out for her."

"Thank you, Shockwave," meowed Midnight and she started to head out of Shockwave's laboratory.

Then she spots Laserbeak and Soundwave. Midnight heads over to them.

"Yes, Midnight what do you need," replied Soundwave in wonder.

"I lost, Darkblade," responded Midnight. "Can you help me find her?"

Soundwave nods his head and orders Laserbeak to keep an eye out for a small kit. Midnight grumbles a little and starts to head down the hallway and she stops when she sees the Autocats. Midnight flinched when seeing them and she growls a little. Then she spots a kit close to the turn-in area. Midnight's eyes went wide, and she watched her from here. Her father would not be happy, grumbled Midnight, and decides to head into the vents to get her daughter, but decides to watch her daughter. Midnight looked up and saw Laserbeak looking around. Midnight flicked her ears and looked over at Megatron and the Autocats. Then Midnight looked over at her daughter again and she saw her getting closer. Midnight flinched and saw Starscream watching from the distance and she was right behind him. Midnight walks over to Starscream. Starscream flinched and he looked next to him and saw Midnight.

"You looked a little worried," meowed Starscream when seeing her.

"Yes, Dark, just left my room," replied Midnight, and Starscream flinched. "I already told Shockwave and Soundwave. Soundwave ordered Laserbeak to keep an eye out."

"Great Lord Megatron is going to have our heads if we do not find Darkblade," responded Starscream and he grumbled a little.

"Well I did see her," pointed out Midnight, and she looked over at the turn-in area.

Starscream followed her gaze, and he flinched when seeing her.

"If Megatron sees her, then she is in trouble," put in Starscream.

"I agree, she likes to cause trouble," meowed Midnight and she sighed.

"Kits like to cause a lot of trouble," pointed out Starscream and he shakes his head. "Wildbreak caused a lot of trouble a lot more. Lord Megatron was not happy about it."

"Well, we better get the Autocats and Megatron from looking over at that area," mewed Midnight and she sighed. "I do not know how we will do that."

Starscream sighs and understands and remembers Shadowstalker, and he looks at Midnight.

"Did you make sure that Shadow would not leave the area?" questioned Starscream with concern.

"I told him to stay, he does not cause trouble, but his sister. She likes to cause some mischief," answered Midnight, and she sighed.

"Well, we better stop talking and get your daughter away from there," put in Starscream and Midnight nodded her head.

They both looked at the turn-in area and flinched when not see her.

"Scrap," meowed Midnight when not seeing her. 

Starscream flinched as well and he looked around for her. 

"I know that Breakdown and Knockout are with their kit and staying there. So we just need to look out for her," pointed out Starscream, and he looked behind him and saw Soundwave looking over at them.

Starscream flicks his ears and Soundwave walks over to them. Midnight flicked her ears as well and looked behind her. Soundwave sits down beside them.

"Laserbeak has seen your daughter," replied Soundwave.

"Yes, I saw her over at the entrance of where I was staying," pointed out Midnight and then cringed when seeing the worried look on Soundwave's face. "Don't tell me that she is..."

Midnight looked over at Megatron and saw her close to him. Midnight flinched a little, and she sighed. Starscream spots her as well and his ears go down when seeing her as well.

"I am heading over there," pointed out Soundwave. "To see what the Autocats want."

Starscream and Midnight both nodded their heads and watched Soundwave. Midnight sighs and she sits up and decides to head over to Megatron, but stops a couple of times. Megatron flicked his ears and saw Soundwave, who sat down beside him. Megatron flinched when feeling something, and he looked down at where his tail was and saw Darkblade. Midnight has her ears down and decides to get her daughter. Midnight pads her way over to them, and Megatron flinches and sees his mate. Megatron growled when he saw her and wondered what his daughter was doing there. 

"She escaped," meowed Midnight, and picked her daughter up from where Megatron was.

Megatron sighs and understands. Midnight sees her sister Winter, who flicked her ears with interest. Midnight rolls her eyes and takes her daughter away. Megatron sighs and goes back to the conversation. Winter watches her sister with interest and wonders where she is going. Winter cocked her head and returned to listening to what Megatron had to say. Optimus Prime nods his head in understanding.

"Your team will be staying in one of the areas until we figure out a plan to find you a new area," pointed out Megatron, and Optimus Prime nodded his head in understanding.

The rest of the Autocats were watching from far away and Winter was with him since he needed someone to stay close for emergencies. 

"Soundwave, show them to the area for them," commanded Megatron and Soundwave nodded his head and looked at the Autocats.

They all started to follow Soundwave, and Megatron sighed and shook his head. He spots Starscream and gives him an order to keep an eye out for any more danger on patrols and to bring in a couple of troops with him. Starscream nods his head to go order some troops. Megatron grumbles and decides to head over to Shockwave who is in the laboratory.

Midnight takes her daughter to the top of where her room is. Midnight entered her room, and she growled a little when she saw Shadowstalker. Shadowstalker realizes that his mother is upset, and his ears go down. Midnight sighs and goes over to the bedding area. Midnight puts her daughter down. Darkblade looked up at her mother and her ears went down. 

"Sorry, mommy," apologized Darkblade and was about to have some tears.

Midnight sighs and glances over at Shadowstalker.

"Shadow, come on over here. I would like to have a word with the both of you," replied Midnight and she lay down, her two children came over and they both lay down. "Darkblade, you are wondering what that dark area was used for."

"Well, I was wondering where it would lead," meowed Darkblade. "But when I went through it took me to an area where I had never been before."

"I called that room the turn-in area where the troops sleep," answered Midnight and she sighed. "The thing that you walked through is called a Shadow portal. I have other abilities as well if you two want to hear each one."

"Yes please," replied Shadowstalker and Darkblade who are both interested in it.

"Well, my first ability was the shadow portal and night vision, where I go back and forth between dark areas. Night vision is for seeing in the dark. The next one would be wondering thoughts of the mind, which I hear wondering thoughts from others," responded Midnight and she sighed. "If you are confused with that one. Try doing a wondering thought."

"Okay," replied Shadowstalker in questioning, trying to think of a good one.

Darkblade wonders if she was in trouble which makes Midnight flinch when hearing that coming from Darkblade. Midnight grumbled a little when her daughter was doing that.

"Darkblade just did it. She wonders if she will get into trouble," said Midnight. Darkblade's eyes went wide when hearing her mother say that. "I used that ability whenever someone does something stupid or even thinks about it."

"What other abilities do you have," wondered Shadowstalker, and Midnight sighed.

"My next one was a ghostly dash," continued Midnight, and she sighed. "Whenever something is far away. I can jump and use a shadow-looking dash to get to the other side."

"Cool," replied Shadowstalker, and then he realized that his mother's ears had gone down.

"There are two other abilities which are very dangerous. That would be shadow attacks and going into a dark cloud," sighed Midnight. "I usually lose control of those two abilities. The shadow attacks are when you fight with dark-looking claws. While the dark cloud is a black mist coming out of your body."

Midnight shivered when remembering it. Then she sighs and looks down at her two kits, and they both understand what would happen if they get those abilities.

"So Darkblade has shadow portals," pointed out Midnight. "But we both must keep an eye out for other abilities."

"Mom. Do you ever wonder if you are going to be a normal cat?" asked Shadowstalker in wonder.

Midnight sighs and lays her head down.

"Yes I also wanted to be a normal cat and not the most powerful cat that would destroy everything," answered Midnight and she sighed.

Darkblade goes over to lay beside her mother. Shadowstalker does the same thing and he sighs in understanding and wonders if he has abilities since he saw his sister have them.

"I might as well see if the Autocats can get in contact with their human friend," said Midnight. Darkblade and Shadowstalker both flinched and looked at their mother. "I do not want you two to have abilities. I want to keep you both safe and sound from harm's way."

"Mommy, I like to use the shadow portal so that it helps me escape danger," pointed out Darkblade. "I want to practice using them."

Then Midnight remembered that Soundwave declared that they might be fine fighters and warriors. Midnight thought of the best idea to get them to be fine fighters and warriors.

"I should teach you to learn all of the abilities and to see which ones you both have," replied Midnight and was ready to train her kits. 

Shadowstalker and Darkblade looked at her strangely, and Shadowstalker figured it out and was ready to learn something new. 

"Let's figure out what type of abilities we have, Dark," meowed Shadowstalker.

Darkblade glanced over at her brother and nodded her head. Midnight watched them from the distance to see what they had. Shadowstalker found out that he also had shadow portals when he listened to his mother's instructions. Darkblade was happy to control that ability as well and they looked at their mother with curiousness.
