As the two were now in the car Dream pulled his phone out as the time read 6:03PM. Smiling as he felt he was on time.

"Just tell me where you're taking me!" George whined.

"No!" Dream giggled "I told you it's a surprise George."

"Please?" George pouted.

"Okay giving me those eyes won't convince me in the slightest. We're almost there you can be patient." Dream chuckled.

George sighed in irritation as he leaned back in his seat. Bouncing his leg up and down as he waited "patiently" for wherever they were going.

"Oh okay don't be a drama queen!" Dream teased.

"Hey! You know I'm not patient with this kind of stuff!"

Dream giggled at the comment. "I know." He teased again.

It took around a minute for them to finally arrive at their destination. The drive itself from home to here was around 15 to 20 minutes. It wasn't really that long.

Once they arrived George couldn't help but feel mesmerized. He almost felt his heart stop at the sight in front of him.

A completely empty meadow with trees surrounding it. Just as green as Dream's eyes only the sun was setting right in front of then.

Dream couldn't help but smile at the way George looked at the scene. Seeing how his eyes just stared into it which reminded him of something.

"Oh! I almost forgot." Dream smiled as he began reaching towards the back seat of the car.

Uncovering the blanket off the gift he got George earlier.

It took George a second to process what he was looking at. He'd never seen any roses like them. A toffee brown shade.

God they're just gorgeous. He felt so stunned looking at them.

"You didn't have to..." He mumbled toggling his eyes between the roses and Dream.

"Oh but I did." Dream smiled handing George the roses.

"I got them because they remind me of your eyes."

George felt his heart flip yet again as he held on to the roses.

"They're gorgeous..." He mumbled.

"That's exactly why they remind me of your eyes." Dream uttered as he got out of the car.

George scoffed at the comment as he followed Dream leaving his new roses on the car seat.

He watched as Dream took a seat in the empty meadow.

Seeing as some grass slices were taller than his hands.

Eventually letting himself lie on his back as George did the same on his left.

They sat in silence for a bit. Taking in the view in front of them.

Dream noticed from the corner of his eye as George turned his head to face him.

He smiled a little witnessing it as he turned his head to face George.

"You're not looking at the view?" Dream teased.

George shrugged feeling himself begin to fall into Dream's eyes. Beginning to see the bright green empty meadow in his eyes.

Maybe he saw it because they're laying in one right now.

"The view isn't as stunning as you..." He whispered.

Dream felt his heart just completely soar out of his chest in that moment.

Oh my god...

Stunning...

He just called me stunning...?

Oh my god...

He felt lost in his eyes again. Feeling himself just enter that empty autumn forest as he felt George's forehead press against his once again. Their lips just an inch away from touching.

"Have you seen yourself George?" Dream smiled with a soft chuckle. Placing his lips against George's once again.

"You're stunning..." He mumbled between kisses.

George felt as his body now turned to its side still caving into Dream's lips. Tucking his hands under his head.

Dream was still laid on his back as he placed his hand on George's neck. His other hand relaxed on his own stomach.

Once the kiss broke they let their foreheads rest on each other's. Dream's thumb now tracing along the edge of his jawline.

Dream felt as George began to lay on his chest whilst his hands tucked under himself. Allowing Dream to rest his head in George's as he wrapped his arm around George's shoulder. Stroking it with his thumb.

"Okay I gotta admit the view is actually really stunning." George uttered with a chuckle.

"Still not as stunning as you though!"

Dream chuckled at George's comments.

"Shut up..." He giggled.

They sat in silence again for a while as they watched the sunset. Seeing as the lighting slowly changed. Becoming more navy and dark as they laid there.

They laid there for so long. Just in each other's arms as it was now night. The sun was gone and all they saw were stars as they laid in that meadow. Feeling the grass brush past their bodies.

George couldn't help but feel so in love. So happy with who he's in love with. He wanted to tell him just how in love he is with him. He wanted to tell him so bad.

"Clay..." He mumbled.

Dream felt a small cluster of butterflies enter his stomach hearing George say his name.

"Hm?"

George paused for a minute. Feeling his heart race a little.

Just say it.

Say it damnit.

"I uhm..."

Fucking say it!

"When do you think we should go back?" He finally mumbled. Feeling a little disappointed in himself.

"Whenever you want." Dream smiled.

"Okay... five more minutes." He smiled nuzzling into Dream's chest more.

Dream chuckled softly. "Okay."

I love you...

God I love you so much and I'm so sorry for not knowing sooner.

I love you so fucking much...

Five minutes had passed already. Time flies pretty quick.

"Okay I'm ready to go back." George uttered as he sat up stretching his arms.

"Okay. I'll race you!" Dream smiled as he stood up. Making a head start to the car.

"Okay wait! That's not fair!" George giggled as he began following Dream.

Dream felt so giddy once he entered the car. Giggling as he saw George already out of breath approaching him.

He noticed the flowers sat on George's seat as he picked them up. In fear George would forget they're there.

As George opened the door he didn't sit down immediately. He stood leaned up against the car door he's just opened as he took deep breathes after being somehow worn out from running to the car.

"You got a head start that's not fair." George uttered out of breath. Noticing the roses in Dream's hand as he took a seat.

"You picked up my flowers for me." He smiled taking the roses from Dream's hands.

"I'm just that good of a boyfriend." Dream teased starting the car.

"You are..." George uttered leaning back in his seat. Feeling as the car began to move.

He looked at the flowers in his hands. Feeling curious as to what the pedals smelt like. Taking in the scent as it took him a second to process that it was Dream's cologne.

"Did you spray your cologne on these!?" George giggled poising at the roses.

Dream shrugged with a smile. "Maybe."

"You're insane..." George mumbled with a smile.

"You know you enjoy the smell." Dream teased as he smirked a little.

"Shut the fuck up..." George giggled.

He still couldn't help but feel that little sense of disappointment in him. He almost said he loves him. He almost did it.

Why didn't I just say it...?

God It's just three fucking words why am I so nervous to say them!?

But what if he's not ready to hear it...

What if I'm not ready to say it...

Am I?

Shit...

Dream noticed George's smile drop a little. Feeling his smile drop at the sight.

"You tired?" He smiled slightly.

George snapped back to reality hearing Dream's voice. "Yeah..."

Dream sighed deeply as he turned to face the road again. Seeing as the road was completely empty at night.

"This road is really nice... it's empty at night." George uttered now smiling again.

Dream felt a sense of relief seeing him smile again. He came up with a basic idea yet he knew George would love it. Checking the time as it read 8:26PM.

"You wanna drive around for a bit?" He smirked.

He watched as George turned to face him with a smile. Seeing as he looked so moved whilst he was nodding his head.

"Wait... does this mean we're gonna have to sneak in again?" George raised an eyebrow.

"But it's a late night car ride!" Dream whined.

"Okay fine! I'll do it for you!"

He giggled in excitement. Plugging his phone in to play some of his favorite songs.

-

They spent two hours in the car together that night. Driving around an empty street as they messed around listening to songs that Dream loves. Some of those songs even made Dream think of George.

Every song that had lyrics that just expressed how George felt for Dream, George would add that song to the playlist. Secretly of course.

He didn't have to worry about if Dream liked the song or not because this whole playlist was filled with songs that Dream loves.

He couldn't help but cackle at the way Dream was singing these songs.

He was actually acting just like a golden retriever.

"You're so crazy!" George giggled watching Dream be completely lost in the music.

"Yeah, crazy for you!" Dream uttered in a louder tone as he broke right back out into song.

George scoffed as he let his palm land on his face. Feeling embarrassed for blushing at that.

"You're red again." Dream teased.

"Shut up... you're the one acting like a golden retriever right now." George mumbled rubbing his hand off his face.

"Okay pretty boy."

George scoffed at the attitude. Feeling he should give it back.

"Okay golden retriever."
