Chapter 25: Meeting The Family!

Carney

"Italy is so beautiful! Are we going to be around here Kelin?"

"Yeah, this house is right on the water. You'll love it."

"Great. I bought the hottest bikini too."

"Oh? Teasing my cousin on this trip I see?"

"Um no. The bikini is for me- why does it have to be for him Kelin?"

"Oh will you look at that! Now that is a beautiful sunset! R-Right Dante?"

"What's going on?"

"Nothing!"

"Hmm."

"Oh here we go!"

"So this place is huge... how many family members are coming and are they really family?"

"Yes it's my family. Now let's go before my mother comes out." Dante grumbled, grabbing my hand as we headed up the stairs. Once we made it up the stairs we could hear everyone's loud voices. "Oh great we're late." Dante said opening the door. I maid came and greeted us and then helped Kelin with the bags. Even the inside of this place was amazing.

"I was in the jet early! So don't say we."

"We are still late. Ugh... I'm just going to head to my room." Dante said walking towards the opposite direction of the voice to another set of stairs. Dear god, with all this movie you would think they would put in an elevator!

"Whoa! I'm not going with you!" I snatched my hand away from Dante and he just looked down at me.

"I'm not in the mood to argue with you-

-Ah! It's Dante! Come over here so I can see you!" Dante inhaled deeply and turned around with a tight smile. I peaked from behind him and saw a tiny old lady.

"Auntie, it's been too long." He said hugging her.

"You have grown into a fine young man!" She said kissing his cheek, then looked at me. "Oh! Don't tell me she's your fiancé!" She said in a suggestive tone. I don't know if it's good or bad. But then they started talking in Italian and Dante clearly had an attitude. So I just stood there awkwardly until they finished. When they where done she smiled at. "I was just telling him you're the most beautiful girl he's been with! You know- uh natural! Yes you're like a breath of fresh air!"  She said hugging me.

"Oh thank you." I answered pulling away from her.

"Now come on you two! You must meet the family!" She said pulling my arm. I looked over at Dante and sighed.

"Auntie we are tired-" Dante started and she stopped.

"Oh?" She said cutting him off and looking between us.

"Yes Auntie." Dante said with a smile. Then she looked back at me and I could tell the gears in her head were turning.

"I see," She said winking at me, "you two have fun." She giggled as she walked back to the loud voices.

"Now let's head to my room like I said." Dante said shrugging his jacket off and taking off his tie.

"I want my own room."

"There are no more rooms." He said blankly and headed up the stairs, I quickly caught up to him.

"In this palace?! Don't lie!" I said grabbing his sleeve. Dante stopped and I got to catch my breath. They really need a elevator in this place.

"You don't have one because at the time this was being arranged you where my fiancé. And to the rest of my family you still are."

"Oh..."

"Yeah. Now I'm really tired." He groaned as we walked together.

"I told you to go to sleep!" We had exactly nine hours before we would be here and I told him to sleep but no, Dante just had to finish some work!

"Whatever." He mumbled with a small smile. Strange guy.

Dante

I'm still coming to understand my feelings for her... strange enough. While Carney slept me and Viktor talked. I had told him everything, yeah my best friend was disappointed in me for lying but he came around. I told him about the little chats and all. And he gave me some advice. I'm just going to flow with this new emotion. Try not to control everything, and keep my temper under control if I want her to stay in my life.

"I... no pineapples..." Carney mumbled in my against my  abdomen  making me laugh a little. Pineapples? Such a strange dream for a strange women. I sighed and leaned my head against the headboard. And there is still work to be done back at home. I carefully reached over to my tablet without waking Carney. Before I could even reach it my baby cousins came bursting into the room. Little Enzo and Chiara... two angels.

"Dante!" I shushed them and pointed at Carney but they made a face. " I don't care! Play with us!" Enzo said jumping in my bed.

"Wake up lady!" Chiara said poking Carney in the face.

"CHIARA-

- what Dante?!" Carney yelled sleepily as she sat up. Me?

"It wasn't-"

-Hello!" Chiara said jumping into her arms.

"Oh? Hello small child-Dante did you steal a child?" She laughed holding Chiara.

"No, these are my little cousins."

"You're beautiful!" Chiara said while touching all over her face.

"Oh thank you sweetie! You're a beauty!"

"Introduce yourselves." I said to them. Since they busted in here and woke her up they might as well.

"I'm Enzo beautiful." Enzo said as he kissed the back of her hand making her giggle. You little fuck.

"Well nice to meet you handsome!"

Carney

These two are the sweetest, cutest little things I have ever seen. And Enzo is a little charmer. I smiled at Dante's annoyed face.

"What's the matter Dante? Are you jealous of Enzo?" I asked sitting up and placing Chiara on my lap.

"Of course not. I'm a grown man." He said getting out of bed. I shrugged and laughed at Enzo as he started 'flexing ' his 'muscles'. And Chiara played a loud game on her tablet.

"I play football and I work out with my dad a lot."

"Oh I can tell!" I said poking at his arm.

"Why are you two up here? Where is Valerie?" Dante asked clearly annoyed by their noise.

"Mom told us to come wake you two up." Chiara said closing out of her game and getting off my lap. Dante looked at his watch and sighed.

"It's time for dinner..."

"I'll walk you down to dinner." Enzo said offering me his hand. How cute is this little guy?!

"See Dante, this is how you treat a lady." I said holding his hand and we all walked out of the room.

"Oh yeah? I'm sure he'll make you happy with candy rings and doll clothes." Dante said making me stop. I sighed and turned around to face him.

"Well a women doesn't need those things to be happy."

"...So I've been told..."
