Petunia's represent anger, and a desire to hang out with another person.

~

As for the mysterically flying books, they most likely didn't question anything since it was Lucas.

Athanasia couldn't help but frown at how the staff had accepted him so easily. She also couldn't understand why his Majesty is letting them go through with this.

Is he letting me revive just so he could kill me again? Athanasia felt goosebumps.

She was a ghost, and yet she still somehow felt like a human.

Feeling uneasy, Athanasia flew down to a chair next to Jennette and Lucas, who were studying the books on the table. She was pretending to sit in a chair, pretending to be normal. If you looked closely, the ghost was hovering over it. Lucas's eyes looked up for a second, noticing Athanasia's presence, before standing up and grabbing one of the books on the table. Sitting next to Athanasia, the magician opened up the book and placed it in front of the princess before continuing his own book.

Staring down the book, trying to focus, Athanasia frowned. As much as she wanted to be human, the princess couldn't help but want to stay as a ghost and disappear whenever. Phasing through walls has now become a specialty of hers.

Did I really have to be human?  Frowning at her thoughts, the princess immediately shook her head.

Athanasia's head turned to where Lucas was sitting. He was doing all this work just for me...

Lucas isn't the type to do labor unless it benefits or affects him. Athanasia wondered which category she was placed in. Was I just an experiment?

This library had an array of knowledge, which held the past and some from the present. Lucas was just like a library. The library would only want to contain the general categories.

Athanasia started off with, "Hey."

"Hmm?" was the reply given.

"Why are you helping me out so much?" The ghost asked.

There was a moment of silence. Lucas, flipping to the next page, before responding with, "Isn't it obvious?"

"If it was, I wouldn't be asking." Athanasia responded, a little annoyed.

"You're my friend. I thought this is what friends do."

Athanasia was taken aback. Lucas, trying not to be a smug jerk?

The princess opened her mouth to respond when Felix and Ijekiel walked in. "Hello?"

"Ijekiel!" Jennette placed a bookmark in the book she was reading before standing up and hugging her husband. Lucas and Athanasia silently looked away while Felix laughed nervously.

"Um-" Felix coughed, causing Ijekiel to look up. "Sir Obelia-Alpheus?"

"Ah, that's right." Gently removing his wife's arms, he looked at Lucas and Athanasia. The two were diligently ignoring Ijekiel, causing the man to sigh. "We're done, you can look back now."

The two slowly turned their heads, causing the man to groan in annoyance.

"You guys finished quickly, what's your problem?" Lucas ask- demanded.

Ijekiel was the literal future emperor, therefore he was pissed at this commoner magician speaking so informally to him. "We have a suspect, currently residing in my former household."

"The Alpheus manor?" Jennette tilted her head to the side innocently.

"Yes, Jennette." Ijekiel turned and looked at Athanasia. "So, we need a spy. The princess seemed perfect for the job-"

"Absolutely not." Lucas stood up, glaring at the man. "We need her here, just in case we find a revival process."

Athanasia blinked. "Will it be quick?"

"Ghosty?!" Lucas turned to Athanasia, a frown on his face.

"Yes, it should be." Ijekiel hummed. "The suspect is a visitor my father has had for a while. Four years now."

Lucas, frowning, crossed his arms. "That's a long visit."

"It is, unfortunately, Jennette and I never noticed due to being in the royal palace. We entered it after.."

Athanasia tilted her head while Jennette paled. "After what?"

"Nothing." Ijekiel sighed. "But nonetheless, we need your help."

"Right." While Athanasia discussed the details with Ijekiel, Lucas looked back and forth between the two.

"You can't be serious!" The magician complained. Athanasia turned to Lucas and smiled.

"It's supposed to be really quick, Lucas." Athanasia comforted her friend. "It'll be fine."

"Riiiight." Lucas didn't seem to believe it.

Ijekiel patted Jennette's head before turning to Felix. "Sir Robane, since you have no direct relation to the Alpheus family, you might need to sit out on this mission."

"That's completely fine." Felix nodded, before pulling a few scrolls out of his pocket. "There have been quite a few suspicious robberies that might have a connection to the thief. I can check that out instead."

"Perfect." Ijekiel smiled, before turning to one of the other guards. "Could you please prepare a carriage? We're heading to the Alpheus manor."

"But what about the revival process?" Lucas was frowning.

"It'll be quick, sir." Ijekiel glanced at Lucas, an odd expression on his face. "Surely you can't find the revival process and all the materials for it in the time we'll be gone?"

"You are HEAVILY underestimating my abilities." Lucas spat. "Watch me."

Turning back to the table, Lucas started reading with a huff. Like the overdramatic guy he is, he started reading the pages before slowly and deliberately turning them. Ijekiel blinked before sighing, and turning back to Athanasia.

"Shall we go?"
