The new season opens with Mike and El holding hands, walking down to arcade (to teach El how to play video games) when it all of a sudden starts raining. I giggle to the cliché-ness that is being shown right now, but stop as soon as I hear Finn mutter into his mic:
"Oh well. Can't have a rainbow without rain." I stare at him for the rest of the take, in utter disbelief that he's shared an inside quote of ours to their whole fandom. After that scene finished, I was going to go over to Finn, but instead got pulled aside by Matt Duffer.
(Matt): That take was pretty good wasn't it?
(Ivy): Yeah, there's one line in it though...
(Matt): Can't have a rainbow without rain? – he cuts me off to say. – Finn told us to include that line in the opening scene. He said that someone would get the reference. I suppose he's talking about you?
You look down and smile at the thought of Finn putting your line in a TV series. Suddenly Ross running over to his brother interrupted your sentimental thoughts.
Matt was immediately distracted and left you and Finn together while he walked away to sort out some stuff. Finn smiled a comforting smile and you applauded him as he swaggered over to you. You gave him a hug before bringing up the line. He blushed and looked down to his feet, before confessing that he forced the line into the script. You smiled and insisted that it was a nice surprise.
Later that afternoon, Gaten suggested going out and doing something to celebrate your first day on set. You all decided on laser tag.
(Sadie): BOYS VS. GIRLS! Sadie yelled, suiting up for 'the fight of her life'
