Josh prepared for open mic night and met Melanie outside of the place.

They walked together, and Melanie walked up to some boy with a fedora.

"Josh this is Patrick, Patrick this is Josh, he's new this summer." Melanie smiled.

"Hi Josh." Patrick smiled.

"NEXT UP WE HAVE PATRICK STUMP AND HIS CREW!!" The perky red head counselor yelled.

"See you later Josh." Patrick smiled.

Patrick walked up, three guys following them.

"Wow he's good." Josh told Melanie.

"He should be. His mom is on Broadway!!" Melanie said.

"BROADWAY??" Josh yelled.

"Yep. People don't care about that though. They only care about the "It People" like Brendon Urie." She muttered.

"Well they should be. Their dad is THE Breadbin Urie!!!!" Josh fanboyed.

Speaking of the Brendon theirseld, Brendon walked up to Melanie, their two minions, who Melanie told me were named Kellin and Gerard.

"Wow Melanie. Parents still working on the cruise ship?" Brendon smirked.

"HI IM JOSH. JOSH DUN. " Josh yelled.

"Oh. Hi." Brendon looked Josh up and down with a gross face.

"Is your dad THE Imso Dun?! My dad worked with him." Gerard asked.

"No." Josh looked confused.

"Oh. What does he do then?" Kellin smirked.

"He owns a hardware store." Josh nodded.

"Ew." Brendon said before walking away.

"BUT MY MOM!" Josh yelled.

"Yes?" Brendon asked.

"She's the president of Hot Tunes TV...in China." Josh lied.

"THAT IS SO COOL? HAVE YOU MET ANYBODY?" Gerard asked.

"Yeah like everybody. I was in 3 music videos last summer. I was just in the back so you couldn't see me." Josh smirked.

"Cool!" Kellin said.

"Way cool! Come sit with us in the VIP section, Josh." Brendon smiled. "And you know, we have an extra bed in our cabin. It's all yours."

"COOL!" Josh yelled before following Brendon and the It People.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Melanie said, rolling her eyes.

And Josh didn't look back.
