Camilo was about to go bug Maribel when she was sewing but she wasn't in her room. He walked out of the nursery and into the hall, looking up he saw her and Isabella swinging around on some vines as loads of colorful plants popped up all over the casita. The two sisters jumped down into a pile of bright flowers and plants, Abuela walked towards the two and started saying something as the beautiful flowers crumbled and died.  Camilo taking it upon himself he jumped down from the ledge by Abuela. Everything always sounded distant ever since he died even when someone yelled it sounded far away. He didn't know why this happened but it did and he got used to the silence.

Abuela seemed to be yelling at Mirabel for ruining something he didn't know what but apparently Abuela knew. "casita get Abuela the hell away from Mirabel" anger relevant in his tone, as the floor between Abuela and Mirabel spit into a large crack, up the wall and towards the window that covered the candle. The young shapeshifter didn't hesitate to start running up the stairs and tried to get to the candle as fast as ghostly possible.

 He jumped only to irl lag (oof sorry but its kinda true) He almost reached the window and the candle but the sudden loss of momentum made him slip up and fall, not needing to catch the railing that casita bent down for him since he was already dead and didn't have anymore consequences other then the complete and utter helpless-ness (idk if that's a word) and feeling of pure depression, there wasn't anything that could stop him. Relief fled through the him as Mirabel snatched the candle right as bruno's tower began to tumble, he Got up quickly to go help his cousin get out of the crumbling house. they were half way to the door when everything fell. The casita sent some chairs and other things to help shelter the two but they weren't quite there yet, so taking his only chance Camilo took a board and shoved Mirabel into the hollow pile of armor, while the rest of the house collapsed onto him, at least he saved Mirabel.
