jason, mum and i are on the road at the moment. we are arriving in a few minutes at the fishers house. i'm so excited to finally see everybody again...it's already been a whole year. i changed a lot recently. i colored my hair a little bit lighter blonde than it already was, i don't wear braces anymore, i started using make up and changed my style of clothes.
i think susannah will be the first who notices. she sees every difference - it's crazy.

"when are we there?" my brother asked my mum and interrupted my thoughts.
"3 minutes" she responded.
"what? 3 minutes? omg!" i said. "jason can you give me my bag?"
he reached for it and gave it to me.
"you don't need to put make up on, your ugly anyway." "well thank you."
"don't be so rude to your sister jason."
"right don't be so rude jason." i sarcastically said with a light smile on my face.
he just huffed and looked back on the road.
i know he hates it when mom is on my side.
i put on some bronzer concealer and mascara before we are parking right in front of the fishers house.

i jump out of the car so do jason and my mother.
"who do you think is gonna be the first out here?" jason asked with a smile on his face.
"susannah, definitely." my mom said.

"agreed."
"maddie! omg!" a voice said and i turned around to see no one else but jeremiah.
he run the last few steps and brought me into a tight hug. he looked down to me and said "you did it. you colored your hair. it looks amazing." jere said with a huge smile on his face while watching my hair.
"i told you i would do it." i said with the greatest smile on my face.
"bro i'm also here" my brother came behind me. "woah dude you have been working out a bit huh?" jere said while hugging my brother.

i couldn't listen to more because susannah came to me and put her arms around me.
"madison honey you look breathtaking." she said. "thank you susannah" i love it when she compliments me because i know she means it seriously. i smile while we pull away "look at you! wow wow wow. i love your new hair." she touched my hair softly.

then i hear a car door shutting and a belly who is basically running to me. "omg belly!" i give her a big hug after she jumped into my arms. she's a few years younger than me but she has grown a lot last year so you can't even see it. "mads omg i missed you so much you can't even believe it." she says while we pull away from our hug. "trust me i missed you at least as much as you missed me" i grin.

then stephen comes up, belly's big brother. we always had a great friendship - not as strong as the friendship with me and belly but i would still do everything for him.
"madison, you. look. gorgeous." "so do you" we say to each other while doing our handshake and giving us a slight hug.

"hey" i greet laurel, belly and stephens mom. "hey honey, how are you" she asked me while she gave me a hug. "i'm good thanks how are you?" i asked back with a smile on my face "i'm good thank you."
everybody greeted everybody but one person was missing. conrad. "hey jere, where is conrad?" "he must be here any second"

than i see him coming. he looks up and makes eye contact with me and i start smiling. he walked to me with a huge smile on his face and gave me a tight hug. "hey." "hey." i respond. "hey." he says again still smiling like an idiot. "hey again." i say and giggle. "you look different." he says while looking me up and down. "good different or bad different?" a little bit unsure about my look now because his opinion matters to me. unusual for me because i normally don't give a shit about other opinions but it's different with him. "oh good different" he says. " yeah..good diffrent." he mumbles and i smile. "well you look different too, no glasses anymore and other stuff." i mumble the rest so he doesn't hear it. he changed. a lot. he looks good, great even. hot? no. just good. i think.

stephen interrupted my thoughts. "hey guys, i don't know about you..but i- well i think it's time for a-" "belly bomb!" stephen, jason and jere now said in unison.
belly tries to run away but we all catch her and lift her up. jason jere and stephen take the legs and conrad and i the arms. we all are laughing, even belly even tho she knows what coming. "one" "two" "three!" and we let her fall in the water.
she comes up with an unpleased look on her face "guys i hurt my ankle" she says. oh shit that's not good.
she hold her arm out with the hope someone helps her out so jeremiah goes to her but instead of helping her out he gets pulled in. "omg" he screams after coming up. belly is smiling like an idiot and trying to get out but jere takes her by her waist and pulls her in again.

i didn't even notice that the boys are walking away until conrad takes my wrist and pulls me with them. "let the lovebirds alone" he says with a slight smile on his face and i need to laugh by his comment.

anyway next chapter is gonna be a catch up with conrad's and madison's life so yeahh some talking with them
