I wait patiently for Jimin at the bus stop. I keep walking back and forth, hoping that he didn't forget about today. There are ten minutes left before the clock reaches six o'clock sharp. I don't mind if he comes late, but I'm nervous the time will keep going, and he's no show.

I take a seat on the bench, watching the minutes pass slowly by. I still wonder if Jimin thinks this is an actual date and not just hang out to congratulate him on getting the solo spot. Yesterday, I would have offered a date with confidence if he hadn't already broken up with someone he loved. Rushing into a relationship isn't what I want. Jimin making a choice himself is what I am looking forward to hearing.

A little bit past six, a bus across the street makes a stop, letting people off. When it drives off, a male stands there. I immediately smile, seeing that it's Jimin. He dresses well today; he wears a buttoned up light blue shirt, that is tucked into his black, well pressed, slacks. His clothes are better than mine. I only decided to wear a casual outfit that I usually wear when I go out with friends because I didn't want to make anything suspicious.

When the light turns green, Jimin runs over to me, giving me the widest smile that follows up to his eyes. His happiness makes me smile in return. "You made it," I say. "You look good." I gesture to his outfit.

Jimin blushes deeply as he looks me over, which makes him turn a redder shade when he realizes what he is doing. "Uh, you look good too! I feel like I dressed too fancy, you look so casual, I mean, not that there is anything wro-" "Jimin?" "ng with that. You look good in anything. Well not that I have-"

I place my hand on his lips, finally stopping his babbling. "It's okay," I say, in a low, calming voice.

Jimin is blushing like crazy by this point and doesn't make any movements, but breathing. I slowly remove my hand from his mouth, and I move slightly back. "Is there anything you want to do? Any recommendations?"

He shakes his head, replying in a low, shy voice, "There isn't really anywhere that I want to go. I will just follow you."

"Alright, well, I thought that I treat you to dinner if that is okay with you," I say with a smile. He gives me a small nod, awkwardly shifting his feet. I cock my head slightly to the right. "Are you okay?"

Playing with the sleeves of his shirt, he shyly looks at me. "I want to ask you something."

"Yes?" I question.

"I-Is this a," he pauses for a brief moment, not finishing his sentence.

"You can tell me," I encourage.

"Is this a date?" He asks the question so quickly; it was like he was ripping the bandage off, not hesitating for more time, but it's exactly what I've been waiting for him to ask.

"Do you want it to be a date?" I ask in a subtle tone, raising an eyebrow.

He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "We-Well, I kind of thought it already was, but I just thought I should ask too. I didn't want to keep thinking it was a date then it's not, but still, I don't even know if you like me-"

I start chuckling at his action, making him stop his babbling.

"Why are you laughing?" he asks, frowning.

"Because, you're cute," I say.

After he stands there, completely confused about the situation, for a while, I decide to get things going on a new path. I immediately, but gently, grab his hand in mine, and I notice his finger intertwine with my fingers as if it was an instinct.

"You want this to be a date?" And before he can answer, I say, "Then I'll make it a date."
