After two hours of a cold blizzard, both Leafy and Firey emerged from the cave to climb up the rest of the mountain.

"Firey, are you okay?" Leafy asked.

"Yeah. Just a little bit chilly is all."

"Okay."

They eventually got to the top.

They sat down. It was dusk, and a sunset was occurring.

"Beautiful, isn't it." Firey said.

"Yeah. I guess."

They sat in silence for a minute.

"Firey?"

"What is it, Leafy?"

"Why did you let yourself get hurt just to keep me warm?"

Firey blushed.

"..."

"Because you've been so kind to me, that I might as well return the favour."

"Aw...."

Leafy blushed. Firey did too.

They slowly moved towards one another until their lips touched.

Instead of a burning sensation, Leafy felt a soothing warmth from Firey.

A little while later, they stopped and held hands as the sun set.

"I love you, Leafy."

"Same with you, Firey."

They cuddled for the entirety of the thirty minute sunset, and then joined TB and GB in the car.
