"Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is believing you're worth the trip."
— Glenn Beck
A curse
I wish I'd never drawn a breath, For every day feels worse than death.
Their words like daggers, sharp and cold,
A curse I've carried since I was told.
"You should have died the day you came, Nothing but failure, nothing but shame."
I hear their voices, night and day,
And wonder why I'm forced to stay.
No hands to hold, no friends to call,
Just shadows on these empty walls.
For every step I've taken wrong,
I never found where I belong.
No place, no heart, no love to keep-
I only wish to fall asleep.
They wish me gone,
I feel it too,
A world where I am never new.
Perhaps they're right,
I shouldn't be,
And maybe death will set me free.
