Dean's pov

I snuck into the building where I tracked the vamps to. I walked down the hall, unsure of where exactly I was going. Then a guy turned to the corner, almost running into me.

"Hi. I'm--" I began, body going rigid.

"The guy Boris turned outside of the bar, right? He said to look out for you."

"Yeah."

"Well, glad you made it, man." The guy held his fist out.

I looked between him and his hand. "Oh." I mumbled, bumping my fist into his.

"Follow me." He said, turning and continuing down the hall.

I followed.

I could smell Si all around me. I should've changed before I left. Her scent was on me. I prayed none of the vamps caught it and decided to find out where exactly it led to--who it led to.

We made our way through another door and into a new room. "So you must be starving." The guy said.

"Uh..." I began as we walked toward a fridge full of blood bags.

"Here you go." He held one out to me.

My body tensed as I stared down at it.

We'll fix this. Just...Don't.

"I'm okay." I forced out. "I killed so many people on the way over here, so...."

"Yeah, uh, about that, company line is, we don't just kill people anymore." The guy explained. "But you gotta tell me what that's like."

"Yeah. Yeah, first chance I get, I'll show you myself." I said.

"Sweet." He tore the end of the bag off, downing some of the blood. He walked off.

I followed, ignoring the smell of blood lingering around me. We walked down some stairs where three or four other vamps stood, staring as we passed by.

"Don't worry about them. They're jealous." He explained. "The recruiters get to bang all the chicks. That's you now, bro."

"Recruiters?" I repeated questioningly.

"Yeah." He said as we walked into a large room. I think it may have been a bank lobby at one point, not sure though. "Big man will explain."

Boris--the man who turned me--stood by a girl at a desk. Cages lined one wall, all full of the missing girls, all desperate for a hit of blood. "Be with you in a minute." He told me. "'Your skin is the black velvet of the night.'" He chuckled. "Nice. That stupid bitch will eat that up. She'll be dying to meet. Go get yourself some blood, sweetheart. Then march that little ass right back here, okay?"

The girl stood, walking off across the room.

"Thank goodness." Boris walked toward me. "I thought the hunter chopped your pretty head."

"No, I got away." I said. "Sorry, what's a hunter?"

"You'll see if he finds us. You'll see him inside out." Boris explained, laughing. "But in the meantime, I have a job for you. She's a little out of the usual, not what I normally go for, but I want her. You eaten?"

"Yeah." I lied.

"Good. You'll need your strength."

"For...?" I asked.

"Robert didn't tell you?" Boris scoffed, gesturing to the guy that led me here. I shook my head. He sighed, stepping close. "How old do I look?"

I shrugged, struggling to find a number. "Thirty-three?"

Boris stepped back. "You're off...by about six centuries. And these are the best days in the last 600 years to be a vampire." He laughed. "Dracula, Anne Rice? Please. These stupid little brats are so horny they've reinvented us as Prince Charming with a Volvo. They want a promise ring with fangs so I give it to them. You. You got out and get them, and you bring them home to me." He pointed to the girls in the cage. "Which brings me to my first point. She was at the bar earlier. Blonde-ish, tight little red dress, leather jacket. Find her. She's pretty. She'll bring in lots of boys."

Si. No way in hell.

"Sure." I said. "But, uh, what's with the cages?"

"Oh, that's just, you know, till they're compliant." Boris explained. "Eventually these girls will go out and fetch me boys like you and around and around we go."

"I gotta say, I'm impressed." I said, forcing a smile. "This whole system, that's all you?"

Boris laughed. "No, no, no. No. I just implement, you know? Make sure you all fall in line." He pointed upward. "It's his."

I looked up only to find a stained-glass ceiling.

"Our father's." Boris continued.

"Your father?" I repeated.

"Aren't you a curious one?" Boris smiled, stepping closer.

"Oh, you don't know the half of it." I said, praying he didn't smell her on me.

"In due time..." Boris' eyes traveled over me. "You, uh..." He leaned in, lips at my ear. "You want the private tour, don't you?"

Swallowing, I forced a smile. "Though you'd never ask."

Boris tugged at the collar of my jacket before turning and gesturing for me to follow.

I did, pulling the needle of dead man's blood from my jacket. I raised it. Then I heard a drop of blood hit the floor.

Boris turned right as I brought the needle down. He grabbed my arm, twisting it behind my back and shoving me forward. He wrapped his other arm around my neck. "You playing games with me, boy?" He twisted my arm around until was forced to drop the needle.

Suddenly there was a far off whispering.

Boris let me go. "Father?" Then he fell backwards, hitting the floor.

Then all the caged vampires did the same.

A wave of dizziness washed over me and I stumbled forward. I hit the floor as visions flashed through my mind.

Visions of who I assumed their father was, the Alpha vampire.

I woke then, rolling onto my back as I stared at the stained-glass ceiling.

I looked over, seeing Boris open the cage doors, letting out the vamps.

I pulled myself to my feet as more vampires filled the room. I stabbed the needle of dead man's blood into one, paralyzing it.

"Go get him!" Boris yelled.

I ran up the stairs, shoving a vamp down them as I passed. Robert walked into the hall then, moving toward me. I pulled the machete from my belt, swinging. His head fell from his body.

I turned just as four more vamps reached the top of the stairs.

One by one, I decapitated them all.

____

Saige's pov

"This must be the place." Samuel said as we all sat in his van.

"Shh." Sam hushed.

There was a thud on top of the van. A vamp leaned down at the window, hissing.

I rolled my eyes, pushing open the small square that led to the roof and climbing through. I pulled the machete from my belt before grabbing his ankle and pulling him up enough to chop his head off.

I slid down the windshield, hopping off the hood of the car. "Let's go."

"So much for undercover." Samuel remarked as I walked off down the alleyway.

I glanced down at the blood on the blade in hand. No. I'm not.

____

I shoved past Sam and Samuel, continuing down the hall. They were weary around every corner and door.

I didn't have time for that.

I just kept walking.

I made my way through another door and into a new hallway. Headless vampires lay scattered across a bloody floor.

"We're going the right way." I stated. "Dean-O's been here."

"Looks like your brother has some Campbell in him after all." Samuel remarked.

I scoffed. "Sure. We can call it that if you want."

I turned the corner, walking onto a balcony. Dean sat atop a desk on the floor below. He had blood covering his hand, his jaw, and neck, a machete in hand and a vampire head beneath his boot.

It may be problematic but he looked hot.

His fault, not mine.

"Hey, good looking, what's up?" I called out.

"Dean, you okay?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I'm good." Dean looked up at me. He winked.

____

"If this works, it's not gonna be a kiddie ride." Samuel told Dean as he poured the vampire blood into the jar.

Dean nodded his head, breathing heavy. "That's great. Light her up. Si, you mind taking a step back? You're--"

"Tempting?" I suggested, eyes moving over him. It should be wrong to look that good covered in blood. "I love that."

"So, what'd you see in there?" Sam asked.

"What?" Dean asked.

"In the nest. What'd you see?"

"I can't hear you. Si's heart is beating too damn loud. Her blood is so loud. Back off." Dean told him. "Alright, give me the damn cure."

Samuel handed him a cup of red liquid.

Dean groaned at the smell. "L'chaim." He tipped it back, downing the entire cup, some of the cure dripping down his chin. He set the cup down, breathing heavy. "I don't think it--" He spun around, vomiting into the sink.

"Is it working?" Sam asked.

"Either that or he's dying." Samuel replied.

"If you killed him, I will gut you." I said, placing a hand on Dean's back as he stayed leaned over the sink, a dark liquid pouring past his lips.

He gasped, eyes turning red, fangs covering his teeth. He fell to his knees, dropping to the floor. His hand gripped my wrist, almost pulling me down with him. He went still, eyes shutting and hand going limp on my arm.

"Dean?" I asked, kneeling beside him.

His eyes shot open, green eyes. His lips parted, no fangs. I helped him sit up as Sam knelt down too.

Dean just stared at him.

____

The next morning, I sat atop the sink as Dean got dressed.

He buckled his belt as he lifted his eyes to mine, smiling softly. "Whacha thinking about, sweetheart?"

"Well, you did say once not to objectify you so..." I trailed off. "Not sure I should say."

Dean chuckled, moving to stand between my legs. "You know that doesn't apply to you." He set his hands on my thighs, massaging.

I traced a finger down his bare chest. "I love you."

"I love you too." He stepped back, reaching for his shirt. He pulled on the black t-shirt before pulling a dark gray Henley over it.

"You make wearing, like, fifteen layers of clothes so hot and it makes zero sense to me." I said.

"Thanks...I think." Dean muttered.

"Where's my beard?" I asked, tracing clean-shaven jaw. He just shaved twenty minutes ago, but I missed he day old stubble. "It was so nice."

"Sorry, sweetheart, it's gone." Dean grabbed my hips, setting me on the floor. "We've got stuff to do, you can't keep me in here all day."

"I could if I wanted to." I stated.

"Hmm, and how would you do that?" Dean asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"First, I'd take off my shirt, then I'd--"

A knock on the door made me stop.

"Mama?" Evie asked from the other side. "Mama!"

"Baby buzzkill's up." I said.

Dean turned, pulling open the door.

"Daddy!" Evie raised her arms.

Dean picked her up. "How's my little girl?"

"Good." Evie rested her head on his shoulder, hugging him.

"Hey, little man, give me five." Dean held out one hand to Wyatt.

Wyatt slapped his hand against Dean's. "Morning."

"So what'd you see?" Sam asked, packing up his bag.

"What?" Dean asked.

"In the nest, what'd you see?" Sam repeated.

"Uh, well, I'm still working through it but I'm pretty sure they're not figuring out anything on their own." Dean explained, moving toward the table as I moved to finish packing things up. "They're getting their orders from the top. Where to go next, everything."

"The top as in..." Samuel trailed off.

"As in the dom of the group." Millie said.

"Their Alpha." Dean corrected. "At least that's what I think it is. They've got some sort of psychic thing happening. He sends them, uh, I don't know, messages."

"Saying what?" Sam asked.

"Honestly? Recruitment drive. Their alpha's building an army."

"Well, that's comforting." Samuel sighed.

"That's not the worst."

"And what would be, baby?" I asked.

"We don't scare them anymore." Dean stated.

"Okay, yeah, that's not good."

_____

"In the car, rugrat." Dean said.

"Ugh." Evie groaned, stomping a foot. "Nooooo."

"You can pick the music...?"

"Yes!" Evie climbed into the car.

"Nice one." I told Dean as he handed Eli to me.

"I'm great, I know." Dean smiled at me.

"Wy, buddy, let's go." I called out.

Wyatt ran toward me. "Here ya go." He held up a dandelion.

"Aw, thank you, Wy. I love it." I leaned down to press a kiss to his head. "What a little gentleman."

Wyatt climbed into the car too. I then buckled Eli in.

"Mama." He babbled, tapping my cheek.

I smiled at him.

I stood, shutting the door to find Dean dropping a bag into the trunk. He got Aurora in the car already.

"Hey, uh, sorry about everything." Sam said, reaching our side.

"Yeah. At least, uh, you got my back." Dean replied. "No matter what happens, I can always count on you. Right, Sammy?"

"Yeah. Of course, Dean." Sam nodded his head before getting in the car.

Dean looked at me. He sensed something wrong with Sam too.

"It's fine." I assured him. "It'll be okay."

"Hey, Si?" Dean asked.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you."
