A sensation of intense stinging pain brought you back from your state of unconsciousness and your brain instantly jump-started up again.
Shooting to half sit up and hissing in pain at whatever was hurting your kneecap, you went to cradle said appendage, only for your wrists to be grabbed before they could reach.
"Don't touch it and stay still."
Opening your eyes at the voice, you saw Jotaro was seated in front of you, your left leg over his lap while a medical kit was splayed out around him. He was holding your wrists and glaring at you, his eyes softening slightly when you pulled your hands back. Your adrenaline dying down, you then noticed light burns all over his body while his usual big jacket was missing.
"What happened?"
"I beat the guy. They're dealing with him now while Gramps is trying to fix up that shitty car." He disinterestedly pointed his thumb back over his shoulder and you looked past him to indeed see Joseph and Anne by a sad looking red car while Kakyoin and Polnareff were chaining a guy down on a rock.
"Nice, nice. Good job." Was all you said, still being a little too out of it to be able to come up with something else. Jotaro scoffed in amusement at that lame answer before picking up a large cotton swab that had been laying in your lap – presumably where he put it down before. "Hey, what are you- OW!" You suddenly yelled that out in pain when he pressed it to your left knee. It was now very clear where the stinging pain from before came from.
"You got a lot of dirt and grime in the wound. Don't be a baby." Jotaro mumbled while keeping his eyes trained on your knee, wiping away the blood and dirt with not very gentle motions. But you guessed it was necessary because you did indeed drag that knee against an entire cliff face.
"I'm not being a baby, it just fucking hurts." You whined out, biting your lower lip as you watched the man go to work. It was silent for a little bit, apart from you taking in a sharp breath whenever the stinging was extra painful.
"Don't stay behind alone again." Jotaro spoke up after a while as he grabbed a water bottle and poured some water onto your knee to make sure all the gasoline was fully cleared away from the wound.
"What?" You looked up from watching his hands to his face, but Jotaro was still focused on your knee, now going to wrap it in gauze.
"You nearly died because you stayed behind alone. That's exactly what those bastards want; to isolate us and pick us off. So don't break from the group again and just stay close to me, okay?" His tone of voice was harsh, almost as if he was blaming – but who you didn't exactly know.
"O-Okay." You nodded, only to suck in a sharp breath when Jotaro was a little too rough with the bandaging. To retaliate, you lifted your other foor and gave him a light kick. Not enough to hurt, but just enough to have him look up at you and glare while you stuck out your tongue.
"Oi, remember who has your twig of a leg at his mercy." He grumbled and you giggled slightly, only for him to firmly grab hold of your calf, bringing his other hand up and pointing threateningly down at your bandaged up knee.
You knew if he only so much as pressed down, he wouldn't harm you per se, but you would be writhing in pain for sure. "Okay, okay! I'm sorry! Please don't!" You frantically called out, reaching for his hand in the hopes of pulling it away from your defenseless knee.
Jotaro just scoffed at your grovelling, a smug look on his face and you sighed in defeat. "Sit up." He then commanded and you did just that. You had already been leaning half-up to try and stop him but now you sat up properly.
Grabbing hold of your shoulder, Jotaro slid your jacket away and pulled your sleeveless shirt to the side, exposing your collar bone. You wanted to say something but decided against it, knowing it was probably useless anyways. So instead you just suffered in silence, a slight blush creeping up your cheeks while Jotaro examined the wound that was there.
"You get thrown off a cliff and still manage to get shot three times." Sighing that out, he pressed another cotton swab doused in rubbing alcohol on this wound.
"Ah-" You hissed in pain, trying to keep yourself from reaching up and getting him away instinctually, only to pause. "Wait, three?" Only just then did you remember the shot in your thigh and you looked down to see a white tissue material poking through the hole in your pants, covering the wound on your inner thigh.
"I cleaned it already." Jotaro started and you looked between him and the wound – or more importantly, it's placement – several times, eyes wide. " But you're gonna have to bandage it yourself. I'm not doing that for you." He seemed annoyed as he said that, his face hidden behind his hat, though you could have sworn there was a slight tint of pink present on his ears.
"Okay, uhm, thank you." You said softly, only to hiss when Jotaro pressed just a little too hard on your collarbone.
"S-Sorry." Jotaro quickly cleared his throat after he said that. Hearing him stutter, your eyes widened slightly but then landed on his shoulder, seeing blood seeping from the wound there and those on his arms. He must have moved wrong when helping you, causing him pain that made his speech falter.
After that, you both just continued to sit in silence, ruminating on your own thoughts as he took care of your wound.
Once he was done, you turned to him. "So... want me to do the same for you?" You pointed at his shoulder, waiting for his answer. You'd wrap the wound on your thigh some other time, when there weren't other people around. Besides, Jotaro had placed some gauze on it that would soak up any blood that would seep from it now.
"..."
The silence was deafening as he just looked at you for a second, all the while you stared at a very interesting patch of dirt on the ground.
"Sure."
His response surprised you since you hadn't expected him to accept, but you nodded happily, moving your leg off of his lap – which has still been sitting there all this time, much to your sudden dismay. You couldn't really bend your knee both from the pain and with how firmly Jotaro had tied the bandage, so you just hoisted you leg around, keeping it straight at all times while you tuned 45˚ to better be able to reach the raven.
Starting to work on his wounds same as he had done for you, you soon found that his height was a right pain in the ass when you couldn't sit on your knees to elevate yourself.
"Gosh darn it." You quietly muttered as you brought down your arms for the umpteenth time. They were still exhausted from your little climbing spree, and keeping them elevated over your head to clean Jotaro's wounds was only serving to point that out even more.
"Are you really that tired from climbing one cliff?" The delinquent raised an eyebrow but you could see the teasing glint in his eye.
"Hey! I'm just not used to that kind of exercise alright? Not everyone can have hydraulic-presses for arms like you do. Besides, I had to climb two cliffs, so shut up. I have a right to have tired muscles." You laughed at yourself while Jotaro only shook his head.
Just as you had raised your arms again to continue leaning the wound – since you figured you had gotten enough rest – Jotaro suddenly placed his hands on your waist and lifted you up.
"Huh?" You let out a noise of surprise as Jotaro then put you on his knee.
Given he was sitting with crossed legs, his knee was fairly elevated and you were now actually on par with his shoulder, making it way easier and less taxing on your poor arm muscles to clean his wounds.
"....Thanks." You meekly said, getting a grunt in return.
You just tried to ignore the close proximity between you and him and instead just focused on his wounds. You especially tried to ignore it when you had to lean in close to his shoulder to make sure you got everything, making it so your head was right next to his and you could feel his eyes on you.
"Hey, Jotaro!" Polnareff's voice suddenly sounded. "You done yet? You think you could lend me some-" Whatever the Frenchman was about to say was cut off by a large gasp and before you knew it, he had come thundering towards you and picked you up in a bear hug.
"Ack-!" Your arms were sticking up at an awkward angle while you were being suffocated in man tiddies, Polnareff's buff arms not letting up in the slightest.
"I'm so glad to see you're awake and alright, Y/N! You gave us all a real scare, I thought you were dead!"
"Lucky I'm not." You choked out and Polnareff seemed to finally realise he was strangling you.
"Ah, excuse-moi, cherie." He apologised and put you back down.
"No problem." You cleared your throat, straightening out your clothes a little. "What was it you wanted earlier?"
"Ah, I was just wondering if Jotaro was done with the medical kit yet. These wounds are really starting to sting thanks to that stupid gasoline. I can't even have a smoke." Polnareff pouted and you snorted in amusement.
"Well, we're not entirely done yet but we can share." You smiled as you walked – limped – back over to Jotaro. "Wanna join the pity party?" You laughed and Polnareff joined in, going to sit next to Jotaro since the medical kit was beside his legs.
"Glad to see you're up, Y/N. That was quite a hit to the head you took." Kakyoin suddenly spoke from behind you and you turned around to see him smile at you. "I'm surprised to see you up so soon, I was sure you'd be out for a while longer."
"Apparently, I have a sturdy head." You joked while placing your hand on your head gently, feeling a patch of gauze taped to your temple, making your eyes widen a little as you realised Jotaro had treated that too.
"Ai, Jotaro, you're bleeding very much from that wound." Polnareff suddenly speaking up made you jump in panic, looking to indeed see that the wound on his shoulder – which you had been working on before – was bleeding quite a bit.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" You blurted out and dove down, sitting back onto his knee without thinking and immediately holding a tissue against the wound so it could soak up the blood.
Jotaro just stayed quiet as he looked at you, not exactly having expected you to crash back down to sit on his knee.
Outside of your field of vision, Kakyoin had sat down as well so he could treat his own wounds too, sharing a look with Polnareff before leaning sideways to cross eyes with Jotaro, raising a suggestive eyebrow. You had your back turned to the redhead so you didn't see it, nor did you see the vehement glare Jotaro sent to his friend.
"Now for the other side." You softly spoke, eyeing the three wounds on Jotaro's left upper arm. You somehow had to get over there and in a position where you could easily help him, but how?
Jotaro seemed to follow your trail of thought though and, without a word, lifted you up by your waist again, moving you onto his other knee so that you were next to his other injured arm, your legs once again splayed out over his lap as you now sat on his left knee. Slightly losing your balance from the sudden move, you flailed, only for Jotaro to wrap his arm around your waist and steady you, keeping it there so you wouldn't almost fall again.
Unfortunately, the arm he was using was his left arm, in other words the most injured one and the one you were going to have to treat.
"Jotaro, stop straining your arms so much." You tried to scold him but the teen just stared at you with a blank and unamused face.
"Shut up and treat the wounds or I'll do it myself."
That was enough to keep you from trying to stop him and you just allowed him to keep holding onto your waist in a way to keep you steady while you turned your upper body as much as possible so you could reach his arm.
Gently dabbing at the wounds, you cleaned out the gasoline and dust one by one, pouring some water to flush them out, unfortunately making diluted blood-water drip down his arms a little bit, but it was what it was given his stubborn proposition to keep holding you with the arm that was injured.
So focused on treating the wounds, you didn't notice Jotaro's eyes on you the entire time, his body finally relaxing after the adrenaline of the fight, simply watching you heal his injuries.
Any time the stinging from the rubbing alcohol made direct contact with the wound, his fingers would twitch on your waist subtly, his head slowly angling down so that the brim of his hat obscured his face, right up until you wrapped the bandages around his arm.
Clearing his throat, he quickly summoned Star Platinum, the Stand lifting you to your feet as he followed, quickly getting up.
An awkward silence hung in the air for a bit until it was broken by a familiar voice.
"You guys ready? I got this hunk of junk to work! You can finish healing up in the car or in the upcoming hotel!" Mr. Joestar loudly shouted while waving his arms, Anne doing the same to try and get your attentions.
Waving back to let them know you heard, you looked back to the three men behind you. "Shall we?"
"We shall! Let me escort you, like a gentleman. You can't be expected to walk with that knee" Polnareff quickly got up and walked over to you, looking at Jotaro as he passed with a cheeky look, earning a 'tch' from the delinquent as he looked off to the side.
"Ah, thanks." You smiled at the Frenchman as he came up from behind and instantly looped his right arm around your left, whisking you away to the rusty car.
"Anytime, cherie. I want you to know how you should be treated."
"What."
"Just ignore him." Kakyoin rolled his eyes as he walked past, pushing Jotaro ahead via his hands on the delinquent's back, to which Jotaro tried to swat his arms away, only to get a slap from Hierophant's tentacles in return, simply forced to walk by the redhead. "Just walk, Jotaro, or you're gonna be all broody and get left behind."

Sorry about the ending, it's 2:17am so my brain has left a bit -w-
I'm going to start school(college) soon for the first time in four years, so I'm gonna try to write ahead so I can give myself time to adjust to the new environment and things without having to worry about not being in time for an update, but I can't guarantee that because I'm slow as all heck with writing ;-;
So I'm gonna do everything I can to be back in 2 weeks like I should, but please forgive me if I fail, you now know the reason.
