The preliminaries raged on. Temari and Tenten fought. Miharu was able to see the evil side of Temari and see how powerful she was. She couldn't believe she was a genin. Sakura and Ino both woke up too.

"Sakura-san, Ino-san you guys are awake." Miharu rushed to their side. "Hm? M-Miharu-san?" Sakura rubbed her eyes. "You guys were both amazing out there." Miharu smiled. "Not as amaazing as you, lifting that boulder." Ino rolled her eyes with a smirk.

"H-Hey so who won?" Sakura asked. "Both of you guys. It was a tie. Neither of you got to win the preliminaries." Miharu anounced. Tears formed in Sakura's eyes. "I...lost.." Sakura whimpered. Ino stared at Sakura and Miharu comforted her. 

"I should be the one crying. I still can't believe I tied to someone like you." Ino pointed out, sighed, and held up Sakura's forehead protector.

"Here. You bloomed into a beautiful flower." Ino winked. Sakura let a few tears drop. "Ino..." Sakura looked at her. Sakura took it and proudly tied it around her head like a headband. "I'm not going to go easy on you if we fight again. I'm also not letting you get to Sasuke-kun." Ino teased. "Well who cares!! I'l win anyways because now I'm a freakin flower!!!!" Sakura almost shouted back.

"I'm still not getting this flower talk you guys were talking about." Miharu sweatdropped. 

The three girls laughed. 

The match between Temari and Tenten was fierce. Lee was shocked to see that Tenten was losing against another weapon. Tenten was amazing at using weapons. In the end, Temari won. She was about to ruthlessly throw Tenten onto the floor until Lee caught her. A warning was given to the Sand ninjas from Gai. If they didn't stop being so ruthless to the Konoha ninjas, Lee would strike them down.

Next was Shikamaru vs. one of the Sound ninjas, Kin. The battle was a big one. Shikamaru displayed his clan's technique, Shadow Imitation. Miharu was deeply intrigued by this. Shadow Imitation allowed the user to make his or hre opponent copy his or her moves.  

In the end, Shikamaru won. He earned a huge applause from everyone and a huge shock from the Sound ninjas. 

"Great job Shikamaru." Sakura said. "It was so troublesome to fight that annoying Sound girl." Shikamaru lazily rolled his eyes. "Well I'd expect you to say that." Miharu chuckled. "DAAAH!!! When is it my turn?!?!" Naruto held his head. "Everyone else is getting attention except for me!!"

"You'll get your attention eventually. But make sure you do it cooly. I lifted a boulder and the others used special techniques. If you make a fool out of yourself, Sasuke-san might not want to fight you." Miharu pointed out. "Got'cha!" Naruto saluted.

The big screen was displayed again and was going to choose a new pair of names. The names were shown.

Uzumaki Naruto vs. Inuzuka Kiba

"YES IT'S MY TURN!!!!!" Naruto cheered and sprinted towards the center of the gym. Miharu chuckled. "Heeeey wish me luck Miharu-chaaan!!!" Naruto and Kiba both called from below. They both glared at each other. "Uh yeah alright alright." Miharu chuckled sheepishly. 

"Not enough encouragement from Miharu-chan!!!" Kiba wailed. "Fine fine, how about a bet? Whoever wins this match gets a kiss on the cheek from Miharu-chan." Naruto wiggled his eyebrows. Kiba stumbled a bit. "W-What?! Fine deal." Kiba scratched the back of his head.

"LIKE HELL I'D AGREE TO THAT!!!!" Miharu shrieked from the stands. Kakashi chuckled, "Young love." "OTO-SAN SHUT UP!!!!!" Miharu blushed. "How about...no....haha." Kakashi teased before returning to his book.

"I'M GONNA WIN!!!!" Naruto jumped. "No I will!!" Kiba argued. "Let the match begin." Hayate announced. "Let's do this Akamaru." Kiba smirked, his dog barked in agreement. "HEY!! You can't bring puppies into the battle! They'll be a distraction!!" Naruto shouted as Akamaru was placed on the ground.

"You twerp. Akamaru's gonna fight too." Kiba grinned. "What a handicap.." Naruto swung his head. "Trying to act cool eh? Akamaru stay there. I'll fight him alone." Kiba instructed. 

"Naruto! Don't lose to that guy!" Sakura growled from the stands. "Ugh...I don't know who to cheer on..." Miharu held her head.

"Beast Mimicry Technique: Four Legs." Kiba squatted down and became engulfed in chakra flames. He then got into a position that made him look like a beast ready to attack. His nails also got longer.  

At a super fast speed, he charged towards Naruto and elbowed him hard in the stomach. Naruto was sent backwards. 

"He won't be waking up for a long time, Mr. Examiner." Kiba smirked. "T-That escalated..." Miharu sweatdropped. "What a weakling." Kankuro rolled his eyes. "Naruto-kun you look so foolish." Lee frowned. 

"Oto-san...don't tell me that Naruto-san is this weak..." Miharu slowly turned to face her dad. Kakashi shrugged. "Well this is Naruto we're talking about. We don't know what's going to happen next." Kakashi sighed.

Miharu turned her attention back to the gym. She saw Naruto's hand flinch. Just as Kiba started to walk away, Naruto stood up. "What??" Kiba whirled around. Naruto was heavily panting.

"That was NOT epic Kiba-san!" Miharu chuckled. "Don't underestimate me!!" Naruto growled. Lee cheered. Hinata sighed with relief. "Get him Naruto!!!" Sakura cheered. "You're bleeding so don't try to act cool!" Kiba shouted. "Heh! I went easy on you just to see how tough you are!" Naruto smirked.

"Why don't you act tough and use your dog?!" Naruto pointed at Akamaru. "You're gonna regret that. Let's go Akamaru!" the two rushed towards Naruto. Kiba threw smoke bombs at Naruto and a purple fog engulfed the three.

In the fog, it seemed like Naruto was being punched everywhere. Naruto was at a disadvantage because he couldn't see. "Crap, I have to make an escape!" Naruto darted to an exit. Just as Naruto was escaping the fog, Akamaru jumped onto his face and pushed him right back in. 

As soon as the fog died down, Kiba jumped out and ionto his feet. Naruto was on the ground. "Nice job!! Woo hoo!! Great job Aka-" Kiba was interuppted when Akamaru bit his owner. Almost everyone gasped. 

"Akamaru...why?" Kiba looked shocked. "Fell for it!!!!" a puff of smoke came from Akamaru and Naruto took his place, biting Kiba. "You twerp, get off me!" Kiba shook Naruto off. "GROSS!!! You taste like a dog!!" Naruto wiped his tongue. 

"Oh and here is your dog." Naruto held up a whimpering Akamaru. "Damn you..." Kiba glared at him. "That's Naruto-san??" Miharu looked astonished. "I can't believe it. He might be an equal towards Kiba. No..maybe even better than him!!" Ino gasped.

"Which means I might have to kiss him. Gross..." Miharu sweatdropped. "Miharu-san it's going to be really fast..." Sakura got a hand on her shoulder. "I'm gonna take a nap...I need some rest." Miharu said and leaned against the wall and dozed off.

"Gooood morning, is the fight still going on?" Miharu rubbed her eyes. Kakashi nodded. "It's a pretty long one." Sakura sighed. 

"You're pretty good Naruto. But I'm going to end you with this next move." Kiba smirked and wiped away from blood from his mouth. "I'll rip out my next move anytime!!" Naruto confidently smirked and got into a position.

"Oh no you won't!!!" Kiba slid behind Naruto and was going to hit him with all the strength he had. Kiba's face was near Naruto's butt. He growled and prepared a hit until....

*Insert fart sound right here*

A cloud of Naruto's fart came to Kiba. Because his face was so close to his butt, he couldn't dodge the cloud.

"AHHH!!!!" Kiba held his noise and fell back and squirmed. 

Surprised faces were on everybody. Hinata was blushing. Miharu was cracking up. "What the hell?? Haha!!!" Miharu fell backwards and held her stomach. "The fart must've been a coincidence but Naruto is the number one ninja of surprising people..." Kakashi sweatdropped. 

"Now I have a chance!!" Naruto surrounded clones of himself around Kiba. One clone of Naruto punched Kiba in the face. The real Naruto jumped on the clone and into the air. 

"U-zu-ma-ki!" clones kicked Kiba into the air. Naruto kicked Kiba right in the face and shot him right towards the ground. Kiba coughed up some blood as he landed on the ground with a crash.

"Winner, Uzumaki Naruto." Hayate announced. "Alright damn it!! You won!!!" Sakura cheered. Lee was excitedly jumping. "Naruto did the unexpected, he beat Kiba!!" Choji shouted.

"N-Naruto-kun...here..." Hinata twiddled her fingers before she gave Naruto a small cup. "What's this?" Naruto asked. "An ointment." Kurenai grinned. "But why me? There's Kiba who was beaten up by me." Naruto glanced at Hinata. She stood there quiet, not knowing what to say. "Just take it Naruto." Kurenai said.

"Oh ok . Thanks Hinata! You're a realy good person you know!" Naruto took it from Hinata's hands. He also glanced to see Kiba being carried to the medical room. "He was a really good opponent!!!" Naruto grinned. He then turned his attention to his team.

"OH!!! MIHARU-CHAAAN!!! I'm the winner!!!!" Naruto sprinted towards Miharu. He was greeted wth a slap on the cheek. "There's my kiss, idiot." Miharu still kept a neutral face. "Miharu-chan so mean..." Naruto groaned. 

"Not getting any kisses from me...ever..." Miharu gave Naruto a cold death glare. "Y-Yes ma'am.." Naruto nervously saluted while his legs shook in fear like jelly.

"Miharu-chan, you're becoming scary. Let the boy live." Kakashi glanced at his daughter.

"Right right.....I will..for now...yeesh." Miharu sweatdropped before turning her attention to the big screen as a new pair of names showed up.

BEFORE I OFFICIALLY END THE CHAPTER, I need help. This is supposed to be a KibaxOC story. I added a few stuff related to that topic but I'm planning on having them kiss later on in the book. I'm not really into having Cupid immediately striking them in the hearts so early. But I'm adding small parts.

I'm thinking of coming up with another KibaxOC moment that's less...not so KibaxOC-y. I need some ideas. If you have any suggestions, please leave in the comments below, it'll count a LOT!! Thank you \(>o<)/
