Y/n and Ruby were doing some shopping in a convenient store. Ruby was reading some magazines containing some rather cool looking weapons, while Y/n was picking out some snacks.

Y/n: "I'm hungry as hell, should I get the pringles or munchos-"

Henchman: Alright kid put your hands up.

Y/n looked back at him with an annoyed look as he soon turned away.

Henchman: "HEY KID IM TALKING TO YOU!"

The henchman gripped onto Y/n's shoulder while placing a pistol behind his head.

Y/n: "Hey, can you like.. bug off somewhere. I'm tryna satisfy my tastebuds after eating some Arby's. One of the WORST mistakes of my life."

Henchman: "Listen here you disrespectful brat-"

The henchman soon gets a disgusted look from the mention of Arby's. Y/n finally makes a decision and chooses munchos. Y/n soon noticed the gun planted on his head as he soon sighs.

Y/n: "So, you're robbing me."

Y/n sweeps the Henchman's legs as he then slammed him down to the floor. Y/n then tapped on Ruby's shoulder as Ruby looked at Y/n with a confused face.

Ruby: "Y/nnn can't you see I'm busy looking at.. THESEULTRACOOLWEAPONS!"

Y/n: "Red, look."

Y/n pointed at the other criminals aiming at the two siblings.

Henchman 2: "FREEZE!"

Ruby kicks the henchman's barrel away while Y/n uses his semblance to boost Ruby's physical attributes.

Top hat guy: "Get those two criminals!"

As Four henchmen ran at us Y/n fought two as he landed an energy focused blow on one and then I used an energy tornado move on the other one.

As the Henchman knocks over the top hat guy

Top hat guy: Well mr.Hunter and huntress i say I'm impressed by your skills but I have some business with someone.

Y/n: "I'LL REMEMBER YOU AND YOUR FUCK ASS HAT GRANDPA!"

As the weird top hat guy shot a firework at us luckily, both of us were able to avoid when suddenly we heard the engines of the bullhead.

Ruby: "Hey get back here! WE'RE NOT DONE KICKING YOUR BUTT!"

Top hat guy: "Persistent brats..."

As the bullhead gets close enough to the man in the top hat, the man would jump in it and successfully flee from the two.

Top hat man: "End of the line you christmas ornaments!"

The top hat man then throws a red crystal that immediately exploded once it got into a close radius. Suddenly, a protective glyph formed and shielded the two from the blast as a mysterious blonde woman walked up to the two.

Ruby: "OHMYGODISTHATAHUNTRESSICANTBELIVETHATIMMEETINGAHUNTRESSRIGHTNOW!"

Y/n: "Ruby, calm down."

(Y/n pov)

Me and Ruby were sitting on chairs while being interrogated.

???: "I hope both of you realized your actions have consequenc-"

Ruby: "But they started it!"

Y/n: "Plus, we stopped a robbery. We should be y'know, being rewarded."

Glynda: "If it were my decision I would simply send both of you home."

Both me and ruby sighed in relief.

Glynda was about to slap ruby with her riding crop and intentionally misses as Ruby flinched in fear.

Glynda: "With two slaps on the wrist."

Y/n would sit up as he points at Glynda.

Y/n: "WHAT ELSE WERE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?! Let them get away? Hell nah, they had pointed A GUN to my head and you believe I should've taken it like a good boy?"

Glynda: "ENOUGH! Someone had came to see Ruby."

A man with pure white hair walked in the room while holding a plate of cookies, he then places the plate down as Ruby would soon start devouring cookies while the man stared at her shining silver eyes. Y/n looked at the man with caution as a bead of sweat slid down his forehead unknown what their intentions with Ruby were."

???: "Ruby Rose, you.. have silver eyes."

Ruby: "Uh."

???: "So, Ruby. When were you able to harness such skills of handling such a complex weapon?"

Ruby: "Well, I learned it from the best after all."

???: It's just I've seen another scythe wielder a dusty old crow..."

Ruby*eating*: "Yeah he's like, my uncle."

???: "I see.... and Y/n."

Y/n: "Yeah?"

???: "You have radiant emerald eyes."

Y/n: "Uh, cool?"

???: "I see that you own one of those weapons. Anyways! Would you two like to enroll in beacon academy."

Ruby: "More than anything."

Y/n: "If it means I get to be an efficient hunter, then sure."

The man then smiled.
