LETS MAKE A COVER

To make a cover I have always used 'phonto' it's the best app in my opinion if you're using your phone.

Now when you first download the app you will have a limited number of fonts to use, however you can download hundreds on on 'dafont.com' trust me when I say you will find a font you like on this website 😂🙏🏼

Once you open phonto go to the little camera at the bottom and select the option photo albums, then pick the image you are using.

This then gives you the option to pick a filter, usually I use 'fade' once you've picked a filter just select 'done'

To add text just click on the image and the little 'add text' box will appear. Click on the box and write what the title of your book is called

To change the font, obviously just click on the word font and it will take you to this page these will be pre loaded fonts available to you, but if you have downloaded new ones from 'Dafont.com' you can find these in the 'my fonts' section.

After you have selected the font you like you can play around with the words as much as you like, clicking on the lettering you can change the size, angle and it's 'style'

In the style tab you can change the colour of the word, how transparent the letters are and the spacing between the letters.

(I was playing around with names) typically I go for book makes with a minimum of 3 words for the title. I find it easier to make covers with ones that have two words. Don't ask me why 😂

When you are happy with it you can follow the same steps as before to do your authors name and any other text you wish to have on your cover. If you want extra items such as shapes or images , click on the three lines at the bottom and it will bring up this menu

There will be a number of different shapes to pick from, I just chose the white square and played around with the thickness and size.

Once that's all done you can save it and add it to your wattpad
