Taehyung is almost done washing the dishes in their kitchen sink when he almost jumps off his feet when a silver haired demigod appeared in the window right in front of him.

"Good evening Taehyung, have you been well?" Yoongi greets the younger. 

"OMFG! you scared me!" Taehyung blurted out when he finally recognized who the demigod is. He doesn't know Yoongi personally until this afternoon when he got hit by the prince of the underworld's wooden sword and seeing him this close makes him gasp for air because damn, he is beautiful. His pale skin compliments his facial features especially his pitch black irises. His nose are not as high as Jeongguk's but it's perfect on his face because he also got smaller thin lips.

"My apologies for startling you. I just came bearing gifts. I wasn't able to check on you right after the prince of Sky took you from the ground because I have to run some errands. Here, please accept these." Yoongi said while giving Taehyung a basket full of fruits and fresh vegetables and another basket full of chicken meat and eggs. He also spotted a jar of milk, probably fresh from the cows too.

Taehyung smiled at the older as he accepted the baskets.

"Why don't you come inside and have some tea? I may not be a fan of drinking those herbs but I used to make one for my father. He's quite impressed of my skill too."

Yoongi smiled and immediately agreed to the invitation. He knows he only got few minutes before the curfew starts but who cares about the law if the most beautiful creature just invited him for a tea which by the way he doesn't even drink at all. Taehyung who is oblivious about the fact that Yoongi is number 1 hater of the said drink proceeds to prepare the tea. He is even delighted to see that they have lavender in the kitchen so he decided to use it to make the drink extra special.

When he's done, he put the cup of drink to a tray and went to Yoongi. 

"Here have some tea." Taehyung offered with a smile. to be honest, he's taking all his energy and courage to remain calm in front of the older. He may look so calm and compose in the outside, but he's literally screaming in the inside.

"Thank you, you're very kind."

Taehyung is smiling while watching Yoongi takes a sip from his cup. The Prince of the Underworld forces a smile as he compliments the drink Taehyung has personally made for him.

"This really tastes good. Thank you Taehyung." he said while staring at the blue orbs of the younger.

Taehyung's nerves finally calms down the moment he confirmed his guess. If he remembers it right, the demigods from the underworld doesn't really have a sense of taste and Yoongi straight lied to his face makes him think that the older is trying to impress him. Maybe Jeongguk is right with his assumptions but then again, Taehyung doesn't want to be cocky about it. He is still in the camp without allies so he's trying his best to scout only the best. He accepted Yugyeom already, if he could play his card right, he might be able to recruit Yoongi on his side too.

"I'm glad you like the tea Yoongi. That's nothing compare to the food you brought me. I've heard that senior trainees have their own crops in the camp. I didn't know you're capable of growing them too." Taehyung asked, genuinely curious this time.

Yoongi smiled at him. The nymphs he talked about Taehyung is right. The son of Poseidon is full of queries all the time and he thinks he likes him even more now. The Prince of the underworld hates noise. He doesn't like loud people around him but watching Taehyung's lips morph into smile and pout every time he asks questions, it makes Yoongi wants to talk to him more.

"We do. As seniors, we were given lands of our own. We have bigger shares of food and other supplies too. But I never actually plant a single seed because they'll just die."

"Oh..." Taehyung moves away a little from the older when he realized that the legends are true.. Any living creature could die with the prince of the underworld's touch and will.

Yoongi saw the worry in his eyes so he leans closer so he could hold Taehyung's hand.

"I'm not as powerful as my father Taehyung, besides just like the other trainees here I got ripped off with magic the moment I entered the camp." Yoongi said while rubbing his thumb at the back of Taehyung's hand.

The younger of the two relaxes a little after hearing that.

Yoongi smiled when he realized that the other didn't pull his hand back so he didn't let go either.

"I couldn't just kill other creatures Taehyung but the other monsters who have a long time grudge with my father would often kill or destroy my own plants so I stopped trying."

Taehyung's eyes widened upon hearing the horrible information.

"You mean to say, they're taking a revenge against you by destroying your plants?" Taehyung clarified and to his disappointment, Yoongi nods at him.

"That's horrible!" Taehyung cried but Yoongi just chuckles.

"I've done more horrible things in the past Taehyung. Maybe I deserve that." Yoongi said while staring at the other.

"Everyone deserves another chance Yoongi. No matter how many times you've failed and sinned against them, you always deserves another chance." Taehyung replied.

Meanwhile, Jeongguk couldn't sleep inside the bedroom. He knows he just promised himself not to look nor to exist near Taehyung but it's been hours since he left him in the living room and until now, the blue eyed demigod still hasn't back inside their room yet.

"Did he flushed himself to the sink? Omg, what if father heard him a while ago and struck him with his thunder bolt?!" Jeongguk cant stop his brain thinking about what could've happened to his cabin mate.

But no, he is not worried so he won't go to check on him. He just needs to pee that is why he is rushing to go out of the bedroom.

"Oh." Jeongguk wasn't able to stop himself from walking towards his cabin mate who's obviously flirting with the prince of the dead.

Yoongi spotted him too, but the older just ignored him to his annoyance again. 

"Isn't it almost curfew already? What are you still doing here?" Jeongguk asked, his eyes scanning the room for a possible threat but he found none except of the lavender tea.

"I was actually going too. I don't want to bother Taehyung more after offering me his best tea."

Taehyung smiled back at the older before leading his way to the door. They can hear the horns already, a clear signal that the Harpies will be having a feast anytime soon again.

Jeongguk followed the two at the door too as if he doesn't want to miss anything whatever it is.

"Thank you for the blessings Yoongi. I really appreciate it even if you didn't have to." Taehyung thanked the older again.

"Don't mention it Taehyung. Also, please have a good rest tonight. It will be a big day for everyone tomorrow." Yoongi said before he finally takes off. 

When Yoongi finally left, Taehyung and Jeongguk looks at each other again.

"Why is he here and why are you thanking him?" the sky demigod asked while following the sea demigod to their kitchen.

"Wait a minute! I thought we're gonna try not to bump into each other here.

Why are you even asking me about my own business?" Taehyung asked, his hands resting on his waist making him look scarier on Jeongguk's eyes again.

"I was not gonna mind your business if you didn't use my lavender and serve it to him." he replied.

Taehyung opens his mouth to defend himself but the lavender tea on the tray he's holding is a big evidence already so he couldn't even deny it.

So he does what he thinks could shut the other up.

"Fine, I'll ask Yoongi to help me get those lavender tomorrow. I'll change them." 

Jeongguk wanna pull Taehyung's cheeks right at that moment. He wants to smack his head and maybe scream at him but then he knows he would just sound and look pathetic for asking him to change those stupid lavenders so he just gave the blue-eyed demigod one last sharp look before he went back to their room.

The sky demigod reminds himself that he should stay away from the other. Taehyung would never do him any good so he needs to maintain enough distance between them!

Taehyung claps in victory when the other left. He even sings in happiness!

The next morning, everyone except the trainers in the Camp Olympus is startled with the sudden warning horn. No breakfast, no warm baths. Everyone is summoned to the Western gate where the Ocean is. Taehyung didn't even manage to brush his teeth when Jeongguk drags him out of their cabin already. They happen to be in the deepest part of the forest away from the Western gate and they couldn't use their powers to fly so they have to travel by feet.

Good thing that the two of them are fast enough to arrive at the meeting place on time.

Yoongi who immediately spotted the two new comers walked towards them. He saw Taehyung in his pajamas while Jeongguk is in his full armor so he removes his hoodie and silently drape it over Taehyung before he went back to his position.

Taehyung quickly put on the clothes.

 "Are you feeling cold?" Jeongguk wanna smack himself for not keeping his mouth shut.

"No" came the short reply of the sea demigod who's eyes are busy roaming around as if he's trying to memorize everyone's faces.

"Then why did you wear that? For all you know he poisoned that."

Taehyung gave his cabin mate a displeased look before he continues to mentally count all the trainees on the seashore.

There are more than hundreds of them but there are only 7 boats floating on the sea in front of them.

"Bird, make sure to protect me later, I'll get us the safest ride." Taehyung whispers after he calculated everything in his head.

Jeongguk gave him a disapproving look this time.

"What do you think of me Fish? Your personal shield? Besides, you may be the Prince of the sea but you're considered as trainee here too." he whispers back.

Taehyung bites his tongue to avoid cursing the other. By the look of it, the trainers would probably make them fight amongst each other and whoever wins will get the boat. The only remaining question now is, where is the boat going? Why do they need it?

Taehyung looks around.

"Will you fxcking stop over analyzing things? You're starting to sound like those delusional youtubers now. Wait for the instructions, I'm pretty sure they won't let us kill each other as early as now!" Jeongguk grabs his cabin mate's wrist to stop him from looking around.

Taehyung pulled his arm back as he glared at the other.

"Don't come back at me when it's too late. Also, watch your back bird, the moment they told us to rip each other's throat for our own survival, you're the first one I'll find!" Taehyung warns him before he walks away.

Jeongguk doesn't know why but he felt a shiver runs down on his spine upon hearing the other. He knows he's stronger than the other but ever since he met Taehyung, the sea demigod has proven him how his brain could manage to outsmart him every goddamn time. He sighs.

Taehyung smirks to himself when he noticed Jeongguk following him behind. He continues walking towards his other ally without looking at the prince of Sky and when he spotted the son of the god of Sun, he smiled.

"Yuggy!"

"Taehyung! What the hell is going to happen now?"

The sea demigod grabs Yugyeom's arm and lead him away from the other trainees. Bambam saw them but since he knows how trouble maker his twin is, he chose to ignore and went to Jeongguk instead.

"Hey, what's up with my brother and your cabin mate?" he asked the son of Zeus.

"To be honest, I have no idea. The last time I saw them, they're about to kill each other but the next thing I knew, they're now besties. Bambam, you have to keep an eye on your brother. Those two are up to something." Jeongguk is trying to make an alliance too.

Bambam nods at the other.

"Sure, but what's up with you and Taehyung? Aren't you--"

"Nothing. He's a pain in the ass. I'm only watching out for him because he's blabbering things that the trainers might pull of a certain hunger games amongst us, hence the boats." he said.

Bambam's eyes widened upon hearing the information because with the sudden call out among the trainees and the number of boats in front of them, what Taehyung just said actually makes sense.

"What if they'll do that...would you kill him?" Bambam asked Jeongguk.

The Prince of the Sky looked at Taehyung one more time before he replied to his new ally.

"I'll do what I can to survive even if that means I'll kill my own ally." Jeongguk replied without sugar coating his words because they already all know that they're on the camp to survive!

Bambam couldn't hide the fear that ran across his mind. Jeongguk is a legendary hero who fought the most feared beasts and monsters. He killed giants with his bare hands and fighting him one on one at this point is a suicide.

The softer son of Apollo gulps.

"I'm not gonna kill you Bam. Don't worry. I don't think the trainers---"

Jeongguk's words are interrupted with the entrance march of the trainers. Minho and Namjoon are in front of the whole company while Seokjin, Hwasa and Hyungshik are behind them.

"Demigods!" 

Everyone halted. All the creatures watching them from inside the camp and the creatures swimming and playing from the Sea stopped moving when they heard Namjoon's booming voice.

"It's time for your first test. In front of you are 7 boats that will bring you to your destination."

"It's not your destination to follow that matters. There are only 7 boats that are ready to leave, and there are hearts not willing to sail. The first test is given only to those who wants to challenge their fates. Who could be our first volunteer?" Minho announced after Namjoon.

The trainees started to whisper to one another. They haven't even spent more than a full moon in the camp and here are their trainers challenging them.

The children of Ares and the descendants of Athena started to board the first boat. There were 9 of them. The boat could accommodate 10 people each. Hwasa smirks upon seeing her siblings full of excitement while sailing the first boat. But it's not even 20 yards from the shore when they saw the other demigods throwing the others on the water, leaving them drowning like they're not their own.

"What the actual fxck?!" Bambam blurted out while watching the scene in front of them. Jeongguk clenches his fist, his eyes on full alert mode after witnessing the betrayal of other demigods who are thirsty of honor. Everyone wants nothing than to make their parents proud!

The second boat was loaded by the next set of 10 demigods, followed by the third, the fourth and the fifth.

This time, there are only one thing running on the remaining demigods. Allies! They have to make allies that wouldn't betray them with the first task at hand.

There are only 2 boats left and there are still over 40 demigods left. Few of them already retreated, giving up on the first challenge and for Taehyung that's not a sign of cowardice but a sign of wisdom. But he is not someone who would back away from it so he looks around.

If Jeongguk wouldn't kill him, then he would be able to board the sixth boat. The son of Poseidon was about to run towards the closer boat when one of the son of Apollo attacked him from behind. Good thing that Yugyeom and Yoongi were fast enough to take down the demigod.

"Are you alright?" Yoongi asked, his eyes still void of emotion.

"I'm alright, thank you." Taehyung swallowed. At this point, he isn't sure if Yoongi can be a good and loyal ally when he knows he doesn't have anything to bargain with him.

Yoongi seems to sense his hesitation.

"I love to accept the challenge but I'm not quite fond of water. Would you want to sail with me and maybe introduce me to your cousins?" Yoongi suggested that made Taehyung smile a little.

"Protect me until we reach the boat and I promised to protect you while we sail the boat." Yoongi grins at the younger demigod as he nods at him.

"At your service Captain." he uttered as he guides Taehyung towards the boat while Yugyeom is following them behind.

Jeongguk witnessed everything and as much as he wanted to drag Taehyung away from Yoongi, he knows he needs to focus on the challenge at hand. There are still few descendants of Dionysus, Ares and Athena on the seashore that could make a chaos for the sake of making a chaos but when Jeongguk spotted Taehyung already boarding the sixth boat, he has decided to take Bambam with him as they ran towards the last boat.

Taehyung, Yoongi and Yugyeom safely boarded the boat but they're all surprise to see Jimin, Jihyo and Daniel already hiding in there.

"Glad to sail with the Prince of the Sea." Jimin cheered the moment he recognize Taehyung.

Meanwhile at the last but not the least boat, Jeongguk made sure it's empty before they boarded it.

"It's safe. Let's go Bambam." he said before he helped the other board the boat too.

They're about to start sailing when a familiar voice is screaming Jeongguk's name.

The Prince of the Sky frowns and hesitated only for a moment before he helped Hoseok joined them too.

"Istg, I don't wanna do this challenge but I don't want to miss the fun." Hoseok mumbles when he finally settled at the center of the boat.

Jeongguk just smiled at him.

The two boats started to sail peacefully. They both have no idea where they're going but since they have been warned that the vessel would bring them to their fated destination, then Jeongguk just concentrates on how to survive knowing that he's on his father's rival realm.

The water is peaceful when the demigods started their journey but Seokjin couldn't help but get worried for a certain demigod.

"Would he really be okay?" the ethereal trainer asked Namjoon who's also watching the two last boats to sail.

"He's the son of the god of Sky, I am sure he will be okay." he replied but that only makes Seokjin worry more.

"Exactly Namjoon, Jeongguk is son of Zeus and the moment Poseidon feels his presence he'll surely send his cruel sons to kill him. What if he dies in this first challenge?" Seokjin asked.

"Then it only means he's not the other half of the twin flames the Oracle has vowed to
