Julia Grace had been raised by Lupa and later a family in New Rome and mentored by some of the members of camp Jupiter, Juno had come to New Rome to look after her as well and it was because of this that Julia had met her eldest brother, Mars was fierce, brave and tactical, and had told Julia that it was okay to be scared because it was when you were fearful that you were at your bravest.

So Julia had grown up loved, She had a much loved mentor in Lupa, A Beloved Mother in Juno and a Normal and Loving Parents in the ones who had adopted her.

She also had her adopted parents daughter Gwen as her adoring older sister and Mars was her fiercest protector, and unlike most of her father's children her fatal flaw wasn't power and yet Julia yearned for more, she yearned to change things, she had wanted to be powerful enough to protect those she held most dear... Self-sacrifice was the sword of Damocles that was held over Julia Andromeda Grace's head.
