Chloe's pov

We went outside and Henry pulled out a table and set it up.

"Let's see how strong you are right now" he said and I nodded we sat at the table and he put his arm up so we could play arm wrestle.

"This is a joke" I said

"Girl sit down" Henry said and Dan stood at the end of the table and nodded.

"Fine" I said and I sat and grabbed his hand.

"Ready" he said and before I could nod he pushed my hand down to the table.

"I wasn't Ready!" I said

"Always be ready don't hesitate" he said

"Are you ready" he said and he did it again.

"Girl I just told you to be ready" he said and I started to get mad.

"Ready" he said and I pushed his hand down and Dan burst out laughing.

"Should've been ready" I said and he growled.

"Henry I don't think anyone has ever beat you at the game" Dan said and chuckled.

"Really?" I said and Henry nodded

"I think you might have a chance after all" Henry said and I smiled

"Now you see that tree" Henry said pointing to a tree with a blue rag on it.

"Yeah" I said

"Run to it and back" Henry said and I ran to it and all the way back.

"Again" he said

That went on for an hour and boy was i out of shape.

"Alright you can stop" Henry said and he gave me some water.

"Wait oh my god I just realised I left my money in that truck" I said

"We know we have it we took everything off your truck don't worry" Dan said and I nodded

"There's one thing I wanna know though" Dan said and he walked inside and grabbed the case that had my parents files in it.

"Did you look through that" I said and he nodded

"I can tell you right now that I know who your parents are" he said

"How" i said

"I knew them" Dan said

"Zoey and Alec were hunters" Dan said

"Your Alec's girl?" Henry said and I nodded

"Well I'll be damned" Henry said

"Y'all both knew them" I said

"Of course we did they are hunters but they were different they hunt rogues not regular werewolves" Henry said

"The guys that killed your parents they were the guys that Henry killed they killed your parents because they killed his brother" Dan said holding up a picture.

"Finn Hathaway" I said

"How did you get all this" Dan said

"I was an FBI agent" I said and Dan nodded

"One thing I wanna know is why were you bruised up" Henry said and I felt a lump grow in my throat. Weirdly though I felt like I could trust Henry like I've known him for a long time.

"Another story for another time I guess" I said

Even though I felt that way I couldn't. I hardly knew Henry and Dan.

"Alright tomorrow we will continue go get some rest." Henry said and I nodded and i grabbed buddy and went to the room and layed down.

Henry's pov

The moment I saw Chloe I felt this undeniable urge to protect her. When she left I followed her and I saw them attack. I told myself not to get involved. I ended up being involved anyways.

"What do you think she's keeping from us" I said

"I don't know but I mean look at her Henry you can't possibly say she's like any other girl that had been through this she's stronger and you know it" Dan said and I nodded

"That's true. But she looks nothing like Alec or Zoey she doesn't have any features from them it's weird" I said

"Maybe they adopted" Dan said and I shook my head

"Can't have been we saw her get pregnant we were there when Zoey was in labor" I said

"But we weren't there when the baby was actually born" Dan said and I sighed

"I don't know it's just weird" I said

"She's been searching for years all this is close to our world and if she could do it who's to say that they haven't found out yet" Dan said

"That's tomorrow's problem" I said and got up. I picked up a scent and turned around.

"Hey uncle" he said and I sighed.
