"If you try to run away, I'll kill you myself." The dark haired man threatened as you dropped to the floor making a loud thud.
"I could've broke something!"
"And you could've healed. But you know what you can't heal from?" Yoongi started eying your chest. He put on a thinking face. "If for someway, somehow I just ripped that heart of yours out of your chest. That'd be something don't you think? ..Or maybe if I ripped your head off—"
You gulped and slowly stepped back. "I think I'll go back to my room." You quickly ran from the throne room in hope to find Taehyung. Yoongi always made you feel like you were going to pee yourself.
"Oof!" You tumbled into a figure running down the hall. They gripped your arms attempting to keeping you up against their chest so you wouldn't fall, but they ended up falling down with you. You landed on them, you looked up to meet the smiling Hoseok.
"You should watch where you are going." He spoke.
"I'm so sorry. I—" and at that moment you gulped remembering Taehyung's words from earlier on.
"But anytime Hoseok smiles and we have a guest, don't they die?"
"Stop smiling at me!" You screeched and he raised an eyebrow confused putting his lips into a thin line.
He sighed, "It's not true."
"What? What's not true?"
"Your future changed when Yoongi demanded you'd stay."
You tilted your head as you laid on top of him, "You can see into the future?"
"Visions come and go randomly of the future and present moments." He replied.
We heard footsteps and tilted our heads to see Taehyung approaching the two of you laying on top of each other.
Taehyung shyly stood, "Am I interrupting something, or..?" You both quickly sat up dusting yourselves.
"Nope!" The two of you stood up looking around hoping Taehyung was the only one who seen you two.
"Wait, so you smile knowing someone's going to die? That sounds kind of sick...in the bad way." You questioned appalled.
Hoseok and Taehyung looked at each other and back at you.
"We are bound to live forever unless someone kills us. Being around forever sounds fun but it's boring. Everyone else around you grows old and moves on with their lives." Taehyung started.
"Death is peaceful. I smile and hope for the ones who are able to go on into the next life are able to go in peace. Inside it hurts knowing we can't make it into the next life, but it makes me glad that other people are able to." Hoseok finished with a smile.
Wait, he's smiling again, does that mean—
"Y/N, he has a beautiful smile. It doesn't always mean death?" Taehyung read your thoughts and the man with the heart shaped smile stared at Taehyung with happy eyes.
"You think my smile is beautiful?"
"Of course hyung. Who wouldn't?"
The two had a moment and you turned away awkwardly. You felt like you were third wheeling the two a bit.
You strangely found it beautiful. Their view on death wasn't something much people would say. People either go like the wind when the time is right, others feel like they are never ready, or some just see death as their get away from their life which they've given up on. It must be hard for them being vampires, being strained for being immortal.
You looked at your hands, remembering the blood you had shed that night long ago. Whenever you'd die, would you ever truly roll in peace?
No, you'll never roll in peace Y/N.
You looked around searching for the voice. You sighed accepting it was just all in your head. It always was.
Hoseok grunted in pain, you turned back to him and he looked stunned.
"Hyung! What do you see?!" Taehyung yelled. Hoseok snapped back to reality and looked at you worriedly.
"They found Jungkook. They are coming back."
You turned around to see if there was anyone behind you for the reason Hoseok was giving you such a worried look. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"They found him with blood on his hands."
You looked at him confused. "Blood?"
"He killed someone." Hoseok pinched the bridge of his nose, "Jungkook, what the heck is going on with you? Drinking someone's blood to killing? This isn't our way."
You slowly backed away nervously. The moment you walked in, Jungkook was eyeing you, he lost control. You were causing the problems. All of this was happening because of you.
"Y/N, no," Taehyung started, "It's not your fault. Seeing blood, or smelling blood has never been easy for not only Jungkook, but Jimin and I as well. You remember seeing me that day a long time ago, I wasn't able to handle the scent of so much blood."
"Why is that?" You questioned.
"We were bit, not born. Learning to control it, Jin hyung has brought us in one by one helping us." Taehyung spoke.
You were surprised. You never knew that, not even about Taehyung.
"The rest of us, let's just say Jin hyung has helped us with personal problems, and welcomed us. This is the life we chose, and none of us would have it any other way." Hoseok stated and you couldn't help but think about what conflicts they could've possibly dealt with.
"As a group, we all agreed we want to watch over one another and others. Life is precious. We all know that from experience. If we are going to live forever, in these young bodies of ours, we might as well play the good roll." Taehyung smiles softly and you couldn't help but nod in agreement.
Taehyung placed his hand on your shoulder, "Let's get you back to your room."
"But I'm hungryyy." You all listened to your stomach growl. The two looked at each other and laughed.
You pouted, "It's been three days!"
"I know, but let's get you out of that dress first." Taehyung led you back to your room. On the way back, you earned a glare from Nia.
She stopped you and Taehyung, "I don't know what Yoongi is thinking about, but no way I'll allow for you to stay here and have us deal with your wolf problems. You are going to get us killed, and when that happens, I'll rip your heart out with my hand." She spoke with venom in her voice.
"Nia, that's unnecessary. Y/N has always been welcome here. She's family." Taehyung told Nia, grabbing onto your arm pulling you away.
Nia's going to be a problem.
"Heck yeah she is." Taehyung mumbled and you rolled your eyes. He was watching you inside out, and you really felt like he enjoyed it.
Once you got into your room, Taehyung had an outfit laid out for you on your bed. You sent him a questioning glance.
"Tomorrow we'll take you shopping for some clothes."
"Why, this?" You looked at the short off-shoulder red dress which slimmed on your body and reached right above your knee. It was accompanied with simple black heels that strapped around your ankle, about 3-inches tall and were pointy toe.
For prom, of course I dressed up and tried, but as an everyday outfit? I'm not pretty enough for this.
"When living here, you must be dressed professionally. Jin hyung said so. His rules." Taehyung demanded.
"Heels hurts though." You groaned and he shrugged. You waved him off so he could let you change into the fit.
This...This is going to be ridiculous.
The outfit fit like a glove. You tied your hair in a low ponytail. You walked out of your room to see Taehyung who's eyes widened at you. He looked you up and down then in your eyes, and you up and down once more.
"Stop it!" You covered his eyes with your hand and he slowly pushed it away.
He sent you a sweet smile, "You look amazing. It's better than I imagined."
You turned away a bit feeling your heart flutter at his words. Taehyung has been so kind to you since your arrival. You could tell he was trying his best to make you feel comfortable and you loved his effort.
You're such a good guy Tae.
You thought and watched his smile widen.
"Let's get you some food in your system ."
