Billy wanted to take the new life you and him had started a step forward...and today was the day. Billy was getting more and more nervous the more he thought about it. He was always a confident guy..but this huge step forward that he was hoping for was making him shake.

The sun peaked through the windows and spilled into the bedroom where you and billy were peacefully sleeping.. that was until the baby began crying. Billy got up and got the baby from the nursery. Quietly trying not to wake you up.

" hey...it's okay little one. Daddys got you. Are you hungry? "

He whispered to the baby as he began to change her. After he got her into new clothes and a new diaper he carried her downstairs to give her a bottle.

" I figured you were hungry.. after this I'll go wake mommy up. "

It was the routine for him..unless you got up before him but other than that, this was every morning once the baby came.

Once the baby finished the bottle billy burped her and laid her down with her pacifier so she could sleep a little while billy woke you up.

" good morning sweetheart~ "

Billy whispered while he moved hair from your face to kiss your forehead. It took you a minute to wake up but you did. You kissed billy with deep passion and love.

" good morning billy.. where's the baby? "

" ah, she's sleeping but don't worry, I changed her and fed her.. and changed her again "

Billy said laughing gently. You look at him at bury your face in his neck..embracing his warmth.

" I don't wanna let go of you..your too warm billy. "

" you don't have to angel.. I'll hold you forever to keep you warm "

You laughed softly before you both heard the baby cry.

" sounds like someone's awake "

" let's go get her "

You said as you both walked into the nursery to get the baby. You picked her up and gently kissed her cheek and said..

" hi baby..did daddy put you back down for sleep? "

" yes..I did "

Billy said wrapping his arms around your waist. Billy kissed your neck pushing hair away and behind your ear.

You turned and looked up at him whilst kissing him on the lips.

" god.. how I love you two.. "

Billy said admiring you and the baby girl in your arms.

" we love you too billy..don't we baby? Yes we do. "

You said sticking your finger out and tickled the baby's tummy. The baby giggled as you and Billy's hearts completely melted at the sound and sight.

You, billy and the baby were heading downstairs to start the day.

*Time skip from 11am to 7:30pm*

The clock was ticking and you and billy had been taking care of the baby all afternoon but..billy was taking you out so he told you to get ready and he was calling Steve to watch the baby while you both went out. (Billy and Steve are cool now, don't worry XD)

" billy..who is coming to watch the baby again? "

" Steve is. I told him I'd pay him.. he insisted the money but I'm still paying him. "

" oh okay "

You said giving billy a sweet smile that had been showing up more frequently than before.

You both had gotten ready and Steve had arrived.

" Hey Harrington how's it been? "

" What's up Hargrove? Nothing much if I'm serious with you. "

" I'm taking Y/n out tonight and thank you so much for agreeing to watch the baby. "

" Hey man anytime, I've been wanting to see her for a while. And I'm here now "

Billy let out a laugh and reached into his pocket to grab his wallet..pulling 100 dollars out and putting it in Steve's shirt pocket.

" for you. And no, don't try to insist it. "

" Thanks Hargrove but you really didn't- "

" I want too.. and also get whatever you need in the house. We really don't mind "

Billy said handing Steve the baby. Steve thanked him and too the baby back into the house as you came downstairs.

" Thank you for watching the baby Steve. We really appreciate it. "

" anytime y/n and you too have a good time tonight. "

You and billy thanked Steve one last time before heading out to Billy's car. The time was 8:03pm.

" Y/n..your gorgeous. "

" Thank you baby. You look handsome yourself~ "

You both headed to a small lake inside of Hawkins where the moon was shining beautifully across the water. No birds in sight or anything..Just silence with you and billy.

You both kissed and sat on the hood of Billy's Camaro. Before billy got up and took your hand in his and began rocking you back and forth in his arms.

Billy began to speak..

" Y/n..I'm just gonna get to the point here..I love you so much. You've changed me and you gave me our child. Your everything I always wanted. And more.. I brought you here the same way I did when we started dating over 3-4 years ago and I want to flip your world upside down for the best. "

Billy reached at his pocket and out came a small black box.

" you helped me get away from Neil..you got me therapy and made me a better man. I always thought you hated me. I was an prick to you at the start but..you helped me. And I will forever grateful for you and all you've done. "

You were confused but billy began getting on one knee. You opened your mouth widely in realization on what he was doing. You began tearing up and he pulled the box out from his hand and opened the box and there was a ring. You cried as billy said..

" I would love to make you mine forever.. what do you say angel? "

"Billy..I- yes! "

" really?! "

" yes! Yes!..oh my god yes! "

Billy instantly picked you up and kissed you after putting the ring on your finger..

" god..I fucking love you. "

Billy said with tears of joy in his eyes. You both were making out before hearing a honk come from the lake..

" what the hell..? "

You said looking at billy.

" what's wrong bab- oh hell no. Not this fucker again "

It was the goose from the lake that was outside of Hawkins. Billy had already expressed his hatred for it and other birds that did things like this.

" look here you stupid ass goose. Leave me and my wife alone! "

The goose began honking and chasing you both back to Billy's car. Billy was still carrying you.

The goose hadn't given up yet. It still honked and stood in front of the car.

" this goddamn goose I swear. "

Billy honked the horn at the goose and it became afraid and ran back to the lake.

" I swear to god that goose is out to get us. "

You couldn't stop laughing. It was ridiculous how that damn thing remembered you two. But it did..somehow.

" I hate birds like that I swear. "

" I know you do babe..I know. "

You both laughed the whole way back to the house.

Once you both arrived, Steve had put the baby down for sleep.

" Y/n.. tell me.. did Hargrove put a ring on your finger at last? "

Steve said looking at your hand.

" sure did "

Billy said kissing your cheek.

" congrats you two..I'm shocked y/n hasn't killed you before proposal billy "

Steve said joking at how billy could piss you off and sometimes tip you over the edge but you still love him forever.

" me too Harrington..she's a little out of her mind sometimes. "

You death glared billy as him and Steve laughed while Steve headed out the door.

" Well see y'all later good night "

" Night Harrington, thanks again "

" Yeah thank you Steve! "

You and billy walked upstairs to see the baby peacefully asleep with the mobile spinning and having the gentle songs play.

You and billy kiss the baby on her cheek and walk out into the bedroom. You both got undressed and into sleepwear. Billy in his boxers and bare chest and you in your underwear and his shirt.

You both kiss and talk for a few minutes before cuddling up and tangling your legs with his and whispering..

" good night sweetheart I love you so much. "

"  I love you too baby good night "

And with a final kiss you and billy Hargrove were engaged.
