Valt's POV:

I can't take it anymore...the voices in my head....... they're right....

.... They've always been right.....I don't deserve to be a good blader.... I don't deserve to have Valtryek......heck I don't even deserve to live.....

If I left...... would anyone care.....if I just....... died?..... probably not....

This was all I thought of as I got off the bathroom floor and put the bloody raser in the sink.
I grabbed some bandages and started wrapping my arms.

I have been cutting myself for a while now but I accidentally cut far lower than I thought.

I'll have to change clothes in a minute. I wash the raser and put it my pocket. You never know....

I go to my room to grab a long black sleeve shirt from my closest.
I'm not used to wearing stuff like this but I don't want people asking what happened. Although probably no one will...

I sit on my bed and pull out Valtryek. I only had a few days before my battle against Shu .....or Red eye whatever he wants to be called.......maybe I should forfeit?

Would it really matter? He already won....so does it really?....I'm already broken inside.....numb.... nothing really matters anymore..

It wouldn't.....do you really think that you can win and get him back? That's pathetic..... you're pathetic.....and you know it...... so why are you still here? Wouldn't it be easier to just let go?

The voices started again. They've been telling me the same things over and over again.
They tell me to stop eating cause I'm fat.
So I stopped.
Tell me I'm useless.
I cut
So what if I listen to it again....

It would....

So why not this afternoon? Let's end all that pain and suffering.....and just let go...

Just let go....

That Afternoon.....

Before I leave this world, I left a letter in our common room where the team would come and hang out. As I put it down a tear roles down my face. I leave and make my way to the elevator... Towards my end...

Third person POV:

Not about a minute later Free walks into the room and sits down on a nearby couch. His body is covered in aces and pains from training. His arm had healed pretty fast but he tried not to force it.

As his eyes wonder around the room he sees a letter on the table.

He grabs it and looks at it. There's no name on it but since it was in their common room, it probably didn't matter. He opened the letter and started reading. His eyes slowly filled with tears as he read the words.

Dear BC Sol,

I'm sorry for letting you down. I was a complete and useless idiot that didn't deserve any of this. I'm completely useless....a monster that doesn't deserve to live. I've broken everything I've ever touch. I hope that everything turns out better when I'm gone. I'll be jumping off the rooftop but by the time anyone reads this it will be too late. And I hope that my burden will be lifted from you when I'm gone.

Goodbye..

Valt Aoi

Free started at the letter in disbelief. He couldn't believe it. The most outgoing, positive, and happy person was commenting suicide. How....No when did this even happen. He looked back at the letter as realization hit him. He was going to jump....

He got off the couch and ran towards the elevators. There was only one working and it was in use. He cursed under his breath. Tears still streaming down his face as he made his way to the emergency stairs.

He ran up the stairs as fast as possible even with his body still hurting from training. He ran and ran until he got to the last floor.

To get to the rooftop he had to pass a hallway and climb another set of stairs to get to the top.

As he headed down the hallway he saw two figures talking...more like arguing. As he got closer he could see it was Lui and Red eye.

He kept running even though they were in the way he ran. In anger and frustration he shoved them both out of the way.

"What the Fuck was that for?!?"
Lui asked in a sneer

Free turned around and looked at them dead in the eye. His normal unreadable eyes were now glowing yellow with fury. Both of them flinched back a little.

"Well I'm sorry if I'm trying to stop someone from making a big regretful mistake!!!"
Free screamed at him with tears in his eyes.

"What are you talking about?"
Red eye asks, trying to hide his curiosity.

Free throws the letter in Red eye's face and screams...
"HOW ABOUT YOU LOOK FOR YOUR SELF!"

He ran and headed for the second set of stairs.

Red eye grabbed the paper and started to read it. Lui's curiosity also got the best of him and they both read it. When they were done their faces paled at what they read.

Lui was the first to react and started running towards the rooftop. Red eye took a little longer to realize what had happened. He knew he did this. His friend, the person who he shoved away to become stronger. He felt horrible. He shoved the paper in his pocket and ran after the others.

On the rooftop:

Valt looked off at the sunset. His eyes.. blank ,Tears streaming but with a smile on his face. He knew this was the last time he would see this. He was ready..

He took his bey out of his pocket for the last time and placed it on the floor. He may die but that didn't mean he had to drag Valtryek with him.

He took his last steps forward..

"VALT DON'T DO IT!"

He turned around to see Free. He was breathing hard and sweating. But that wasn't what caught his eye. He was crying.

"Why not?..."

Was all he could say to him. Free stared at him and started crying even more.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY WHY NOT?!! YOU'RE TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF!!"

"That is none of your concern"

Free just stared at him as if he was crazy. During this Lui and Red Eye made it too. Free took a step forward but Valt took one backwards. He stopped when he saw what he was doing.

"Don't do it... please you have so much to live for..."

"Like what..."

The others were taken aback when they heard this. How could he say that??

"Valt......."

They all turned to Red Eye...

"Valt....your doing this because of me....I didn't think you would go this far.....*starts crying* I-I'm sorry.. IM FUCKING SORRY THAT I HURT YOU!! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT"..

They were all surprised by this. But it was mostly Valt. Free and Lui just gave him a "nah really face"..
Valt gave a small smile as his face darkened...

"Well then...."

They all turned back to him

"That was nice but it's too late too apologized"

He takes the last few steps back.... And falls..

"VALT!!"

A week later...

Valt opens his eyes. His vision's blurry but soon it begins to focus, and he realizes that he is in a white room.

"Wait am I dead?"

"No sweetie"

He turns to the voice that answered him. It was a tall women in a white uniform. She looked like she could almost be an angel.

"Where am I then?"

"You're in the hospital."

Valt just stared at her. What did she mean? How did he get there? Didn't he jump from the rooftop? Didn't he die?

"Oh and before I forget there are some people who came to see you."

The nurse left the room. Valt was still so confused on what had happened. The opening door snapped him out of his thoughts.

Standing there, were the last people he would expect. Shu, Free and Lui we're there.

Free and Shu started crying like crazy while Lui started to shed a few tears.
The two of the crying boys went towards Valt's bed and pulled him into a tight hug. Valt's eyes started to also water.

"Im sorry"

It was all he could say.... Everyone looked at him. What could he be sorry about? They did this to him...

"What happened? I don't remember anything after I fell "

Lui respond... Since he was the only one who could talk.

"This is what happened.."

A week ago..

Everything started to go in slow motion. Valt's body falling, Free running, and Shu's tears.

Free jumped towards Valt. They both started falling. And all that came out of Valt's mouth was

"Why..?"

Free screamed his heart out....

"Because I love you"

"Huh?"

At that moment his eyes cleared... He grabbed free and pulled towards him. Free did the same. They closed their eyes. At least they would now both die together.

But for some reason the impact never came. Free opened his eyes to see Shu and Lui grabbing on to them.

"Don't let go!"

"What do you think I'm doing!!"

Lui screamed back at Shu.

They both pulled Free and Valt back onto the roof. All had of them had tears in their eyes. Even Lui.

But it didn't end there. Valt's eyes were closed.

"What's wrong with him?"

"I don't know?"

All of them were confused until Free touched Valt's hand.

"It's...... cold.... Valt... VALT WAKE UP.."

He didn't. He pulled his sleeve up to see the bandages. His crying got worse. He couldn't handle it. He just confessed to him his feelings and now he was dying..

They called an ambulance and made their way to the hospital.

Everything else was a blur. His team came to check on him several times, including his family. But the three boys never left.

Free looked like he would never stop crying. If he wasn't crying he was either trying to breathe properly and gripping his chair or start hiccuping and cry again.

Shu felt just as bad but he cried silently.

Lui didn't want the others to see but he also cried. When he went to the bathroom, he would start to shed tears and sit on the floor for about an hour.

At some point during the week, a nurse came towards them and told them the news.

"Your friend has suffered from blood lost and lost of appetite. He seems to be suffering from depression and anorexia. And from what you've told us, he's also be suicidal."

They tried to ask her if he was alright and if he was getting better but the nurse couldn't tell them anything. All they could do was wait.

When the time came to see him. They were filled with relieve as they entered to see him once more.

Present Time.....

Now with Valt out of the hospital, a lot has changed.
He is now currently dating Free.
And they are both very happy.

Shu and Valt are now ok with each other and are best friends again. Lui, to be more surprising, stopped being mean to Valt and acted more like his personal bodyguard. So if he were to hear shit being spoken about him he would be there in an instant to destroy them.

Also Valt's depression has been better with him now going to therapy. He goes there once a week and it's never alone. Either his boyfriend, Shu or Lui would go there with him once a month.

So now Valt lives a fairly normal life being the number one blader in the world and having the best friends and boyfriend in the world. His life has been changed for the better and he hopes to never go through that again.
