Joe's pov:

"Damn you're really good at this" I chuckled. Me and Claire are playing Call of Duty and she's mvp for the millionth time. "I mean" she said smirking and pointing her finger everywhere. "I'll just head to the bathroom" I stood up and left the controller beside her. Nothing much happened when we got here.

I did my business and looked in the mirror. Some of the scars are fading and I still feel very tired. I washed my hands but then I felt my heart beating fast and harder. I stood there like a statue and didn't move a single muscle. After a couple of seconds I felt something heavy fell to my stomach and a cold breeze approached me. I closed my eyes and breathed heavily and brushed it off. It's probably just heart palpitation. I shook my head and headed back to the living room. I sat beside Claire and we started playing again.

"Do crabs think fishes are flying?" she asked out of nowhere. "Are you alright?" I laughed trying to kill the enemy. "I mean they proved that water isn't actually wet until it touches something" she defended. "And.. we won" she said after she shot for the last point. "You do have a point tho" I answered. I then felt it again. But it's more worse. I felt cold and started sweating. I then started shaking and my chest felt like it was getting stabbed. "Joe?" Claire said shaking me. She ran to the kitchen and grabbed me water. I drank some of it and slowly felt better. "What happened?" she asked. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine now. Thanks" I smiled.

"You should rest for now, we'll head to the church in a couple of hours to practice for the wedding" she stated. I nodded and went to the guest's room and sat on the end of the bed.

I was thinking about what had happened. It felt like there's something more than heart palpitation. It's an uneasy feeling that I can't even describe clearly.
