Summary: I think this one is kind of sad:( So just be aware;) You can listen to the song if you want to, I think it fits.

"Clarke! What are you doing here?" Bellamy yelled as he approached her with quick steps.

"I just-" She began, but her words trailed off. Her hair was messy, her clothing soaked by the rain.

She had come back to the crime scene of Priya's murder.

It was not safe for her to be out there alone, especially not with Priya's murderer running around.

Clarke's gaze was distant as Bellamy tried to get her attention.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, placing his hands on her shoulders, trying to make her focus on him.

"I'm fine now." She assured him.

His hand went to her back, guiding her as they began to talk back towards camp.

"Except... except I made a mistake," Clarke stated, refusing to look at him.

Bellamy glanced at her, waiting for her to continue.

"She died with regrets." Clarke started.

"Come on, Clarke, everyone has regrets," Bellamy stated.

"I don't want to have any regrets." She continued, smiling almost sadly at Bellamy. "She never gave him a chance."

"Who?" Bellamy asked, furrowing his brows while guiding Clarke around a tree.

"Priya, she never gave Atom a chance. He offered himself to her, but she never gave him a chance." She said, relating too much to her own words.

Bellamy's gaze was fixed on Clarke as she spoke.

"I understand it now. I don't want to have any regrets." She looked up at him still with the sad smile on her face.

Bellamy's lips parted slowly, and as he turned away, Clarke feared the next words he would say.

"I'm with someone," He stated, his voice breaking.

Clarke nodded, and even though she had known that that was what he would say, she couldn't restrain her tears.

"I love Echo," He continued, daring to look at Clarke.

She didn't care anymore. She didn't care what Bellamy thought of her, or how she wanted herself to act. She let the tears flow as she listened to his words breaking her heart.

"The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but that's how it is."

She sniffled. "I understand. I missed my chance."

Bellamy couldn't see clearly because of the tears in his vision. It hurt him, it hurt him so much.

Clarke suddenly laughed, trying to stop the tears. "My world turned upside down, I can adjust."

They reached the camp, but Bellamy did not feel safe leaving her alone.

"Do you want me to get someone?" He asked softly.

Clarke shook her head, her cheeks wet. "No, I'm fine... Alone."

"Clarke..." His heart was breaking. He had loved her for so long, and when he finally had learned to bury his feelings, she had realized that she loved him too.

It was all much too overwhelming for him.

It was Clarke Griffin for God's sake. The stubborn girl with her blonde hair and strong opinions. The girl that he always found himself drawn to, even when he didn't want to.

They had been through so much, no one understood him like her. But it was too late.

Clarke knew it was too late. He had loved her, but it was too late. She had missed her chance and was bound to live for the rest of her life with that regret.

If she hadn't been so afraid and had admitted her feelings earlier, her life could have been completely different.

He had begged her, to give them a chance, unable to deny the chemistry and feelings that had been there for years.

But she had been so damn scared. Laying her heart out on the line for someone was far from easy for her.

But it was Bellamy. Bellamy Blake, the one that had always insisted that she was not alone in her actions. She didn't pull the lever in Mount Weather alone, she didn't have to be alone.

But the fear of someone really getting close to her was bigger than the fear of being alone.
