My heart beats in my chest as I wait for my luggage next to Kim.
'I'm exited to see Clay again, it's been long.' She says.
'Me too.' I say back making her chuckle.

We grab our things and head on.
My heart beats louder.

When the double doors slide open, I see Clay and Dennis standing next to each other.
I breath leaves my lips, as tenseness falls from my shoulders.

Their eyes land on us, and they're all quick to get over to them.
I trail behind, holding clays gaze as we look at one another.
It hasn't been long that I've been away, but I've only now,
Realized just how much I actually need him.

Before I can move in for a hug, my arm gets grabbed and I get pulled into him.
Head over his heart and his arms shielding me, I close my eyes.
His heartbeat beats under my ear, his breath steady.

'Welcome home.'

My hands hold on to his shirt a little tighter with each word.
Home.....

My home.
Right in his arms.
