I've slipped on a loose dress and come comfortable heels.
We haven't been on a date in a while.

Though I'm still a little soar form the hospital,
I'm happy to go out.

'Oh...' Clay breathes out as he watches me walk out.
I smile at him, his hair done back neatly.
'You're gorgeous.'

I walk over and kiss his cheek.
'Have to add up to your looks.'
He chuckles at my words.

'You sure do.'
I laugh at him.

We drive to where Clay planned on taking us.
We arrive at the beach, the sound of the waves reaching my ears.
I can't help the smile that creeps onto my face.

'Ready to go?'
Clay gently lays his hand against my lower back.
The salt air and sun clears my mind.
'Yeah.'

I hold his arm as we walk to the restaurant.

'Table for two.'
Clay says and we get led in.
They walk us through the restaurant to sit us outside, in the shadow and in the slight breeze.
God, I couldn't care less for what hell I've been through before.
I'm where I'm meant to be right now.

Clay raises his eyebrow.
'Something going on?'
I smile brightly.
'Little sick, but...'

I shrug and look away

'Guess lovesick isn't the bad kind.'

Clay chuckles.
'Well that's a relief.'

My eyes meet clays, his green eyes shimmering in the reflecting sun.
'I love you, Clay.'

He smiles and nods
'Keep that in mind.'

Not getting what he means, I move on as the waiter walks up.
'Good afternoon.' He greets. We greet him back.

'What could I get you to drink?'
He asks Clay first.
Clay orders what he wants.
'And for the beautiful woman?'
He turns to me, and I can see Clay frown.
'I, uh... just water please.'

He nods and walks off.
'The hell.' Clay grumbles.

I chuckle 'let is slide, Clay.'

A woman comes to bring menus.
'Pasta?' Clay guesses. I nod as I look at the options.
Clay take out all the options that could be bad while being pregnant.
So that leaves few nice ones, but we order and soon after our drinks come.

'Is there some place you want to go some day?'
Clay looks from the ocean to me.
'I don't really know....'

He thinks as I take a sip of the bubbling water.
'Something foreign? With markets where they sell spices, food, and silk. Ya know?'
I nod as I imagine it. 'Busy cities, with beautiful nature around it.'

He smiles at the idea.
'Swimming under waterfalls, climbing mountains. Trying weird food.'
I chuckle 'that'd be nice.' He looks at me 'maybe some day.' He says before he shrugs.

We get our food, and eat it in comfortable silence until.
'Leon.' Clay says randomly. 'Or Aiden.'
I look at him in confusion.
Names.

Right, we haven't thought about that yet.
'Leon sounds nice.' I say.
Clay nods.

'We can make a list some day.'
Clay smiles.
'A list would be nice.'
