"No way!" I say with excitement. "And you want me to be the babies Godmother?"
"Of course we do, couldn't think of anyone else more suitable for the job." Uncle Remus says, as I bring him and Tonks into a hug.
"You are the first person apart from my parents that we've told." Tonks tells me. "So will you be our babies Godmother?"
"Of course, I will be!" I say, as we pull away from the hug.
"Just don't tell anyone, with everything going on tomorrow and how the plan has been set in stone for weeks we wouldn't be able to find a replacement for Dora." Uncle Remus says.
"Of course I won't, maybe Fred, because he always knows when I have a secret and I can't keep anything from that man." I say with a smile.
"When I said anyone that excludes Fred." Uncle Remus says, and we laugh a little.
"As lovely as it has been to see you both, I should get back to the Burrow before Molly bites my head off." I say, before standing up and bringing them both into hugs, then apparating to the Burrow.
Walking into the Burrow, something sweet was cooking away and Fleur and Bill were holding their nieces as Molly gets the rest of the kids to help her clean.
"Look girls, it's mummy." Bill says, in a high pitch voice and the turn around and give me big smiles.
"Hello, my beautiful girls. Have you two been good for Uncle Bill and Auntie Fleur?" I ask the girls and they babble excitedly back.
"I take that as a yes, well I'm glad." I say.
"They were very well behaved, they are so lovely." Fleur says, happily.
"They love you guys, well they love the whole family, they are always happy when they are around the family." I say.
"Well uncle Bill is their favourite." Bill says, and I roll my eyes.
"Don't start this one again and unfortunately George is but that's because he looks like their dad so they probably get confused." I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Yeah, his got an unfair advantage." Bill says, still having a big grin on his face.
"Yeah, just a little bit." I reply, turning to Fleur. "Not long before you also become a Mrs Weasley."
"Yeah - I am very excited to marry Bill and become apart of the family." Fleur says happily, and I look at the clock.
"Yes, and now it's nap time for the next hour for these two." I say, and as if it was timed the babies began yawning.
"I think they agree." Bill says, and I nod, before taking the babies from their arms.
Most people would struggle to carry to babies at once, but for Fred and i it was something that became quite easy for the pair of us. As I walk up the stairs everyone else is cleaning and Molly sees me.
"I'm just putting the girls down for their nap, I might join them thinking about it." I tell Moll, with an innocent smile.
"Hmm, okay." Molly says, eyeing me up suspiciously.
I walk into Fred and George's old room, laying the girls down in their cots, playing a soft lullaby on the baby mobile, before sitting on the bed and pulling out a book. I began reading a new book, that I brought when I was still in Hogwarts and now I found the perfect time to read it and that was Thea and Lyra's nap times.
I read chapter after chapter before the girls eventually woke up, and I couldn't believe an hour passed that quickly and I took the girls down the stairs, where everyone else was sitting down at the table.
"That was a good nap, wasn't it?" I ask Thea and Lyra and they just carry on babbling away.
"I think that means yes." Ron says, from the table.
"And they also said that they want cuddles from their aunties and uncles." I say, and Ron happily excepts Lyra from my arms and Hermione with Thea. "So we have another meeting tonight, right?"
"Yeah." The whole table replies, as I sit down.
"So how old are Thea and Lyra now?" Ron asks me.
"They are eight months old now." I say, counting the months in my head.
"Wow, they are already so big." Ron says.
"I know, and they are becoming more like their father and uncle." I say groaning slightly. "The other day, they set the curtains on fire and were laughing about it; Molly how did you do it?"
Everyone at the table chuckles including Molly.
"Good luck, y/n." Ginny tells me.
"And I know it's the Weasley blood, because my dad told me that I used to get a certain blanket and teddy bear and occasionally the magical emotional meltdowns." I say, shaking my head.
"They are still cute though." Ginny tells me, and I nod in agreement.
"They are, the ginger hair makes it even better." Fleur adds.
"Yeah, I suppose it does." I say, before getting up and pouring myself a glass of pumpkin juice. "Would anyone else like a glass?"
"No thanks." Everyone replied as they babies babble away.
The babbling was more them trying to construct words together, I sat back down at the table with my pumpkin juice sipping on it as light conversation goes on around the room when the babbling of the babies took my attention.
"Mm- mama." I hear Lyra say and I spit my pumpkin juice out.
"I'm so sorry, but Lyra just said Mama!" I say, practically shouting.
"Oh my Godric." Molly says, and we all stay quite to hear her say it again.
"Mama." She says, happily. Through the room a chorus of aww went around and then Thea grabbed my attention.
"Dada, dada, dada." Thea says, and we all get really excited.
"They said there first words." I say getting really emotional. "I'm so proud of you both, and now we can tell daddy, yeah we can."
"Hopefully Fred doesn't get this emotional about it." Ron says, and I send him a glare.
"I'm aloud to." I say, sipping on my pumpkin juice as they jabber out their first words and I then have Lyra in my lap.
"Yes, I'm mama mama mama." I say down to her and she laughs at me.
Molly begins cooking dinner for Thea and Lyra as the rest of us were waiting for after the Order meeting, when Fred and George walk in and I become overfilled with joy once again.
"Hey, handsome, how was work?" I ask him.
"Busy, how has my girls day gone?" Fred asks, as Bill passed Thea to him.
"Good the - " I begin saying before Thea cuts me off with her new word that she learnt.
"Dada." Thea says happily, and the biggest smile appears on Fred's face.
"Did she just say what I think she did?" Fred asks me, and I nod my head.
"It gets better, where's my little Lyra?" I ask and she clearly hears her name because we could all now hear her talking again.
"Mama, mama." Lyra says, as she sits with Ginny.
"Wow, I can't believe they have said their first words." Fred says, with the biggest smile on his face, with a tear in his eyes.
After Molly cooked the babies dinner, Fred and I feed the two of them before taking them up for a bath.
"Mama - " Lyra began saying.
"Dada - " Thea took over, with Fred and I smiling with joy and giggling at them trying to talk over each other.
"Come on you two, it's time for bed now." Fred tells them, and the both stopped talking at each other to look at him; before babbling to each other.
"I don't think they liked you telling them that, but yes bedtime girls." I say picking Thea up out of the bath.
We get the girls ready for bed, settling them down with a bottle before the lullaby plays on the mobile again and they fall asleep, Fred and I then head down the stairs where most of the order members are and we take our seats next to each other.
"Molly said the girls are beginning to talk." Melody says excitedly, and we both nod our heads in excitement.
"What did they say?" Tonks say, turning around.
"Lyra said mama and Thea said dada." I say, as I hold Fred's hand.
"Can tell which parent is their favourite." Jack says, with a small laugh before Mad-Eye interrupts.
Everyone goes over the plan for tomorrow, talking about the transportation, port-keys and all the rest. It was set in stone that the girls and I would would stay here with Molly and Ginny and the others would be at their own houses for port-keys to be used from there.
After the meeting Molly made the majority of us dinner, and we spoke about anything other than what was happening tomorrow.
"Wow, these last eight months have gone quick haven't they?" Anna asks, as we talk about the girls.
"Yeah, they have, they'll soon be one and they are both starting to crawl a little bit which is amazing but it's going to quick." I say, slightly sad. "And I don't like it."
"They will soon be answering you back and getting into trouble." Anna says.
"If Thea and Lyra are anything like their father then yes, they will be getting into all sorts of trouble." I say, and Fred laughs from next to me.
"Okay little miss I never got in trouble." Fred says.
"But I didn't, I never got caught." I say with a smile and he just rolls his eyes at me.
We all sit talking for a while before we all decide it is time for us to go to bed, with George staying for the next couple of nights.
I snuggle up to Fred before quickly falling asleep. Waking up in the morning everything was being sorted tonight by those participating with Molly and Ginny helping me with the girls. The day goes by and I feel more and more sick the closer it gets to when they need to leave.
It was now time where they all had to leave, and Fred comes over and gives the girls hugs and kisses; before Molly and Ginny get them and Fred picks me up and wraps me in a hug and I wrap my legs around him.
"I love you." Fred tells me. "I'll be okay, just get those gorgeous girls off to bed."
"I love you." I say tearfully, with some of the tears falling down my face. "Just be safe."
"Hey stop crying, your going to make me feel bad." Fred says, looking at me and I laugh through the tears, and he places a kiss on my lips. "Salty."
"You two are disgusting." Ron says, before Fred and I break out into giggle fits, and he places another kiss on my lips before lowering me onto the ground.
"I love you." We both say in unison, he holds my hand before walking off out of the door.
I look at the clock and it's bath time for Thea and Lyra.
"I'm going to bath these two and put them to bed." I say, walking over and taking Lyra from Molly.
"Can I help you?" Ginny asks me.
"Of course you can." I tell her and we walk up the stairs.
I get the bath started and the girls begin splashing around, and I can tell Ginny isn't really herself.
"What's up, Gin?" I ask her as the girls splash around.
"Just stuff with Harry, well he called things off because it's 'putting me in danger' I'm already in enough danger like it makes a difference." Ginny huffs, turning her focus to Lyra. "I can tell he didn't want to do it."
"I know Gin, it's clear that you both love each other, hopefully you can end up together and get married and have little baby Potters." I say with a smile and she splashes me with some water. "So you don't want to get married and have little baby Potters? You hear that girls auntie Ginny doesn't want to give you little cousins in the future."
"Shut up, y/n." She says, trying not to laugh. "Of course I do but I don't want to get my hopes up."
"I know, with the war now here it makes life hard for all of us especially if you are the chosen one." I say to her.
We continue bathing the girls and chatting to each other before putting them to bed, where they quickly fall asleep. Ginny sits in her room and I go and join Molly down the stairs in the living room.
"Girls all settled?" Molly asks me.
"Yeah, fell asleep asleep quite quickly." I tell her.
"Are you hungry at all?" Molly asks me.
"A little bit." I say to her.
"I'll make a little something to eat." Molly tells me and I nod.
After Molly, Ginny and I have something little to eat we sit waiting in the living room waiting for something to happen then we see two figures land in the garden and all three of us rush out of the door, to see Harry and Hagrid and all the other port keys on the floor.
"Harry? You are the real Harry? What happened? Where are the others?" Molly begins asking, and we begin panicking.
"What do you mean? Isn't anyone else back?" Harry asks.
My mind goes blank and I feel really sick again from all the worry.
"The Death Eaters were waiting for us. We were surrounded the moment we took off - they knew it was tonight - I don't know what happened to anyone else, four of them chased us, it was all we could do to get away, and then Voldemort caught up with us - " Harry told us, and I felt like I was going to throw up.
"Thank goodness you're all right." Molly tells Harry bringing him into a hug.
And here comes the sick, I run inside and up to the toilet emptying the contents of my stomach beginning to cry, Harry and Hagrid were meant to be the last two back...
I go back outside to see George and Uncle Remus.
"George!" I scream running over to help Remus who has trying to support the unconscious body of George.
Harry, Remus and I carried George into the house, laying his body on the sofa, with blood running down the side of his head and neck missing an ear. Molly then begun to help George as she cried, and Remus grabbed Harry and pinned him against the wall.
"Oi! Le' go of him! Le' go of Harry!" Hagrid shouts.
"What creature sat in the corner of my office the first time that Harry Potter visited my office at Hogwarts?" Uncle Remus says, giving Harry a shake. "Answer me!"
"A Grindylow in a tank - wasn't it?" Harry replies, and Remus releases Harry.
"What was that about?" Hagrid roars and I wince, knowing the girls are going to wake up soon with all the commotion going on.
"I'm sorry Harry, but I had to check. We've been betrayed. Voldemort knew that you were being moved tonight and the only people that could have told him were directly involved in the plan. You might have been an imposter." As Remus finished the baby monitor went off.
"Sorry, I'll be back down in a minute." I say to them before rushing off upstairs.
I walk into the bedroom, where the girls are crying and I begin to shhh them and begin the lullaby which calms them down, once they were asleep I walked back down the stairs to see Hermione and Kingsley here and Arthur at the door with Fred behind me and I rushed passed everyone and pulled him into a hug.
"Your okay." I say thankfully.
Fred didn't reply instead of looking at George on the sofa, I held Fred hand tightly as we walked over to the sofa. With George beginning to wake up, Fred looked a little happier.
"How do you feel, Georgie?" Molly asks George.
"Saintlike." George murmured.
"What's wrong with him? Is his mind affected?" Fred asks, looking terrified again.
"Saintlike," George repeated. "You see... I'm holy. Holey, Fred, get it?"
Molly sobbed a little harder and the colour came back to Fred's face.
"Pathetic! With the whole wide-world of ear related humour before you, you go for holey?" Fred asks George, crouching down next to George; letting go of my hand.
"Ah well." George says, looking up at Molly, with a big grin. "At least you'll be able to tell us apart now, mum."
Before anyone else could say anything the baby monitor went off once again.
"It's going to be a long night." I say, before heading up the stairs.
I walk back into the room and the girls are once again wide awake and I groan to myself, before getting two bottles ready to help settle them down. As I get the two bottles ready Fred walks into the room.
"Hey, do you need any help?" Fred asks me.
"I'm okay, Freddie, go and spend some time with Georgie." I say, bringing a hand up to his check before standing on my tip toes and placing a kiss on his lips and looking into his deep brown eyes. "I was so worried about you."
"I know you was, but I'm fine we are all fine." Fred says, he quickly helps me with the girls even though I keep protesting for him to spend time with George.
We walk into the living room and Fred and George begin joking around with each other like the usually do.
"Still reckon I'm the better looking twin." George says, and I laugh at him. "What do you reckon y/n?"
"Hmmm, definitely." I say, and George laughs.
"Freddie, your wife thinks I'm better looking than you." George says.
"Are you sure about that, darling?" Fred asks me and I nod my head. "Rude."
The three of us sat laughing like we usually do when everyone else walks in looking sad.
"What's wrong? What's happened? Who's - " Fred begins asking, before he is interrupted.
"Mad-Eye is dead." Arthur tells us and our grins that were once on our faces had now disappeared.
We all now sat in silence, with Tonks crying softly; she was close to Mad-Eye and Hagrid was also crying.
Bill went and got a bottle of Firewhisky out of one of the cupboards giving us all a glass each.
"Mad-Eye." He says, raising his glass.
"Mad-Eye." We all say, then drinking the Firewhisky.
We sit talking and I announce that I'm going up to bed, leaving everyone else in the living room. I get changed into my pyjamas and get myself ready for bed, before laying in bed and just staring at the ceiling. I don't know how much time went by before Fred walked in and laid down next to me, and I rest my head on his chest.
"I thought you would be asleep." Fred says as he begins to tickle my back.
"I tried, but I needed a cuddle from you, always helps me fall asleep." I say, sleepily.
"I know gorgeous, let's get some sleep, can you come into work tomorrow as George can't?" Fred asks me.
"Of course, I will." I say to Fred, closing my eyes.
"Thank you, love, I'll ask mum if she can look after the girls." Fred says, "sleep well my love, I love you."
"Goodnight, Freddie, I love you." I say.
We lay there in silence until drifting off to sleep. We woke up to the girls crying in the morning, we change their nappies, give them their bottles, get them dressed, with Fred and I getting ready for work.
"I didn't know you were going into work today , dear." Molly says to me, looking at my work outfit, which was a pencil skirt and purple shirt with a name tag on it.
"Yeah, she's covering for George. We was wondering if you could all look after the girls please." Fred asks her, as in cuddle Thea who is jabbering away.
"Of course I can." Molly replies as she finishes breakfast.
"Dada dada dada." Thea says, looking between George and Fred.
"No I'm mama mama mama and that's uncle Georgie." I say to her, placing a kiss on her cheek. "How you feeling this morning Georgie?"
"Good, you sure your okay with working I can - " George begins saying.
"No!" Fred, Molly and I all say at the same time.
"No, absolutely not, you are resting." Molly tells him.
"Y/n is more than capable to do the job and you can spend some time with your nieces." Fred tells George.
"Fine - fine." George says, putting his arms out for a cuddle with Thea.
"Dada dada dada!" Thea says excitedly, as George cuddles her.
"Say Georgie, I'm uncle Georgie." George says, with a big smile bouncing her up and down.
Fred and I quickly eat breakfast before rushing up to the shop to get opened and ready for the day a head.
"I might grab some more stuff from the flat after work." I tell Fred and he nods in agreement. "I think we all need some more clothes."
"Yeah,
