We are now at the beginning of February and the second task was at the end of this month. Since the Yule Ball, well things between Fred and I were going absolutely amazingly, although on a few incidents we had to be reminded by people about our behaviour in public including teachers at some points and our friends on many occasions.

Micheal (dad) sent off the papers my name was legally changed back to Black which was confusing for quite a few people and teachers especially since my name was at the start for the register and had now moved to Jacks. I had also been writing to Sirius, well dad and told him about me, my friends and of course Fred and that brings us up to the current day.

Fred, George, Lee and myself were now sitting in the boys dorm whilst the twins worked on joke shop products and my head was in Fred's lap as they were working.

"So we added to much of this." Fred says holding up a bottle, "so we add half the dose and go from there."

"You know if you done things like this in potions you probably would of passed." I say turning my head up to look up at his face.

"What's the fun in that?" George asks, "this is more fun, no one telling us what to do."

"Yeah, have we ever liked rules?" Lee asks.

"This is true all the things that have happened over the years, we've probably broken them all by now because you always drag me into everything." I say to them.

"You do enjoy it though, so I don't know why you are complaining." George says.

"That's true my life would be boring without you all, anyway I need to write back to my dad; can I borrow a quill, ink and some parchment please?" I ask the three boys.

"Yeah there is some in my trunk over there," Fred tells me, I get up and walk over to his trunk to get the equipment out, walking back over to the group and leaning on the floor.

The boys are chatting in the background as I start to write.

To Dad,

I hope everything is well and that you are keeping safe. It's now only twenty days until the second task, hopefully Harry does well this time just like he did on the first one. On other news, classes are going well and it looks like at the end of next year I will have the NEWTs I need for what career I choose to do.

My friends say hi, Fred and George are currently making joke shop products. From what you told me about you and your friends when you were our age the twins and Lee remind me of you all so much.

I'm hoping I can see you soon, possibly the summer, we have a lot of bonding with each other to catch up on. Anyway, I have some essays to do but I thought I would quickly write back to you.

I put the lid back on to the ink pot, letting the ink that is on the parchment dry before folding the letter up.

"So do you know when you are going to see Sirius?" Fred asks me as I put the ink and the quill into his trunk.

"I'm hoping the summer, it feels weird to say that I've not seen him for thirteen years but I am excited that I will be finally aloud to see him." I say with a smile naturally appearing on my face.

"I'm excited to meet him too." Fred tells me, "although his letter the other week was a little scary." Fred says then pulling a slightly scared face.

He was right Dad wrote a letter to Fred basically saying if you hurt my daughter in any kind of way I will kill you and if you get her pregnant I will kill you and go to Askaban again. Well the look on Fred's face was priceless to say the least.

"Yeah, y/n is his only child though so what do you expect." Lee says.

"He is right you know, only child and only daughter means more protection from my dad, he'll like you anyway." I say convincingly laying my head back onto Fred's lap.

We spend the rest of the afternoon sitting in the boys dorm with our other friends finally joining us. We spend the evening sitting quietly in the common room... well mostly quiet, the boys are always pretty loud as the girls and I gossiped.

"So do you have any clue when he is going to ask you to be his girlfriend?" Melody asks Alicia about Lee.

"I don't know, I wish I did but sometimes it feels like that connection isn't there if you know what I mean." Alicia tells us.

"Not really." I say, "explain what you mean." I look over to the boys that are joking around and I catch Fred's glimpse for a moment.

"See when I look at the relationship, that you and Fred have and Melody and Jack have and I don't see it much or feel it. He is amazing, funny and caring that's not it but it's just our relationship isn't there." Alicia tells the three of us with a sad expression on her face.

"See how things go." I start to tell her, "you two never get time together and that is partially the problem. You are spending too much time together with the group, you should go on a date and see how things are then."

"Yeah, I agree with y/n, we should set up a date for you both." Angelina says.

"Perfect, well we have Hogsmead weekend coming up and you can go to the three broomsticks and we will be on another table on the other side just in case it doesn't go to plan." I say.

"I don't know..." Alicia starts to say.

"Lee!" Melody shouts and all the boys turn around.

"Yeah?" He looks at her questioningly.

"Melody don't..." Alicia whispers.

"Alicia wants to go on a date with you next Hogsmead weekend to the three broomsticks with you, do you accept her invitation?" Melody asks him and a smile appears on his face.

"Yeah sure." He says with a smirk on his face whilst Alicia starts blushing.

The boys turn back into their conversation and we turn back into ours and start talking again.

"Melody there really wasn't any need for you to do that." Alicia says.

"Got you the date though didn't it?" Melody replies back to her.

"Yeah... I suppose so." Alicia replies, as Fred appears behind her.

"Sorry to interrupt ladies I was wondering if I could steal y/n from you." He says with a small smile on his face.

"Yeah of course, go and get some girl." Melody then says making the girls and I laugh lightly.

"It's not actually for that." Fred says grabbing my hand and pulling me up.

We walk up the stairs to a chorus of wolf whistles.

"Fred don't get her pregnant." Jack says, causing half the common room to laugh, then I see Harry how looks embarrassed.

"Die." I say glaring to Jack as we walk up the stairs.

"What's up Fred?" I ask him as we enter his dorm room.

"Nothing I just wanted to spend time with you," he says walking over to the window and looking up into the sky.

I walk next to him and join him looking up at the dark sky.

"The stars are so pretty, maybe one night we should have an astronomy tower date." Fred tells me and I lean my head on his arm.

"That sounds amazing Freddie," I say looking up at him as he concentrates on looking at the stars.

"Maybe we should read up on more astronomy." Fred says, "by the fire, with hot chocolates, with you snuggled up in my arms."

"For someone so funny with what most people would see as a popular boy, who hates to show his emotions to many people, you sure are the biggest softy I have ever met." I say, "but all your date ideas sound fantastic."

"I have no need to show everyone my emotions, plus I like being cute to you because you are my girlfriend I wouldn't want to show it to someone like Lee or Jack." He says and we both laugh lightly as we both gaze into the distance.

"Yeah, you know what I can see you snuggled up by the fire reading a book with Lee and drinking hot chocolates." I say giggling to myself.

"You would be so jealous though it's one of our things that we do and it's probably my favourite thing that we do especially this time of year." He says pulling me into a warm hug.

"It really is." I say yawning at the end.

"Tired?" Fred asks me.

"Yeah, doing all these classes is so exhausting, I was I cut at least two classes off but it is too late to do that now." I say looking up at him.

"See why I only take three." He says with a smile.

"You are only taking three classes so you have time to work on all of the joke shop products, you wouldn't have anytime if you done al of my classes." I say facing the window and looking at the sky.

"Bed?" Fred asks and I nod my head.

Recently I've been staying in Fred's dormitory more than usual it was only once a week but now it's around three or four nights a week now.

I get into one of the jumpers Fred has given to me with only my knickers on underneath and we both go to brush out teeth, we now lay in bed together with my head resting on Fred's chest and he strokes my hair slowly.

"You should sleep, you look exhausted." Fred tells me.

"I'm not that tired. Sometimes I just like chilling out with you, even if we do like to live a crazy life." I reply.

"I think the crazy had only just started."

"You really think so?" I ask.

"Yeah." He reply's.

We lay in his bed having light conversation with each other before falling asleep cuddled up together.

A few weeks had passed and it was now time for the second task, we were all pretty excited to see what would happen. The twins were going to start taking more bets from everyone before the task as well so we had a pretty busy day ahead of us.

I'm laying in Fred's arms before we have to get up and I'm playing with his hair trying to convince him to let me put little pony tails in his hair.

"Please Fred, it will be fun to do. Maybe, I could even put little braids in it." I say excitedly.

"No, ask George, Ron or Harry they might let you. But it would be funny, maybe another time, because we need to get ready for the task we are going to have another party after." Fred says.

"Who's showering first?" I ask, gesturing to the fact there was four of us in the room as Jack was sleeping in the girls dorm.

"You could always go back to your own dorm." George says.

"No I don't want to thanks, I have an idea" I say, then I turn and whisper to Fred, "you can come and shower with me." I then jump up and pull him up with me to go and have a shower, grabbing a pile of clothes folded up next to the bed.

"Seriously? Mum doesn't want any grandchildren yet Fred especially from you two." George shouts.

"Don't worry she's not going to get any yet." I say before shutting the door before turning towards Fred, "you grabbed one right?"

"I'm not silly, I remembered." He says as the shower warms up.

We get into the warm shower and let's just say it was very fun. We walk out of the bathroom both ready and laughing with with the whole group sitting in there.

"Took your time," Jack says and the group start laughing including us all start laughing.

"Well I suppose it's time for us to make our way down to the lake right?" Melody asks looking at the clock.

"Yeah, let's go." I say.

We all walk down to the lake with my left hand intertwined with Fred's right hand. There were magical rowing boats that I'm guessing would take us to the task. Fred and George start taking bets for a while before we set off to the boats.

"So we split into two groups?" Lee asks.

"Yeah, so us two and Melody and Jack can go on one and the others on a different one." Alicia suggests.

"Sounds good." I say as Fred and George board the boat, Fred takes my hand to help me in as George helps Angelina. We sit facing each other, Fred pulls me into his side to keep me warm as the boat took us to the next task.

"Wonder what this task is going to be about." George said.

"We will find out soon, I am very curious about it all though." Angelina says.

"Yeah, Harry seemed worried last night saying Hermione and Ron were asked to see McGonagall and I was thinking it has something to do with the task today." I tell the three.

"Probably does anyway we are here." Fred tells us all and the boat moves next to a platform and we get off and walk to the front of some barriers and see Harry to my right with the other champions as well as the judges except Mr Crouch who seems to be absent again.

Harry looks over at me slightly worried and I give him a supportive smile as the rest of the students come to watch.

The familiar voice of Ludo Bagman filled the air stopping conversation. "Well, all our champions are ready for the second task, which will start on my whistle. They have precisely one hour to recover what has been taken from them. On the count of the three, then. One... two... three."

The whistle blew and everyone started cheer. I was watching Harry as he shoved something into his mouth and look like his going to be sick, he jumped into the water then thirty seconds later he jumped out of the water with gills and dived back into the water.

We all wait there patiently and I was so nervous for Harry and Cedric, the other champions too but I didn't know them too well I had spoken to Fleur a couple of times and she was really sweet.

"It's okay, beautiful they'll be fine." Fred tells me as well all watch the water for some movement.

Minutes later Fleur swam to the surface she looked terrified as the teachers helped her onto the platform wrapping towels around her whilst some of her friends went to comfort her. I was even more worried now to the point I became fidgety.

"Calm down y/n because if you keep fidgeting like that this thing is going to start shaking." George says and I glare at him.

"Die." I say back to him.

Cedric then comes up to the surface with Cho and they swim towards the platform.

"So that's why they needed Ron and Hermione." Angelina says.

"Ron's got to be Harry's and Hermione has to Krum's... what about Fleur's, it's going to be her sister right, but she can't go back in so what's going to happen?" I ask staring at the water.

"Why do you always think like that?" Lee asks.

"She's got a point though because it's clearly one per person so what happens?" Melody says.

Krum and Hermione's faces then break through the water gasping for air as they swim towards the platform.

Time keeps moving closer and closer to the hour, still no sign of Harry.

Five minutes left...

I'm sat waiting along with everything else but I'm so anxious where is he. Just after the four minute mark left two figures popped through the water and it was Ron and Fleurs little sister he helps her swim to the surface.

"Right I'm going in." I say starting to take my coat off.

"You are what?" Everyone asks.

"Someone needs to save Harry all of the judges don't even know what's going on and think something is wrong and none of you can stop me." I say taking off more layers and my shoes.

"I bloody well can." Fred says trying to restrain me.

"You saw what happened last year are you sure you want to play that card? He is my family now let go." I say warning him, and he tries holding me tighter and I slip out of his grip.

I climb over the railings and everyone was gasping and Professor McGonagall started shouting at me.

"Miss Black get down from there." She says

I jump in to the water... oh my Godric it's cold I start swimming out from the platform and under looking for Harry when he shoots out onto the top of the water.

"Harry!" I say grabbing his hand as we swim towards the surface.

"Why are you in the lake?" He asks question.

"To save you, because I thought we was going to die." I reply as we get onto the platform.

Everyone was cheering as the clock chimed.

"Miss Black, that was incredibly stupid, you could of died." McGonagall was lecturing me as Fred pushing past the crowd of students.

He pulls me into a hug and wraps his coat around me. Before pulling away glaring at me.

"What?" I ask him.

"You are such an idiot." He says, "you could of died it's the middle of winter and the creatures in there."

"So?"

"What if you died what would of happened then?" He says, with an unreadable expression on his face.

"You would all get on with your lives. Harry is my family and what's left of it, I could not live with myself if he died." I say to him.

"I wouldn't just get on with my life though, I love you and I don't want you to get hurt." He says pulling me into another hug as Harry and Hermione were talking.

Then the voice of Ludo Bagman roared through the crowd once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our decision. Mer-chieftainess Murcus has told us exactly what happened at the bottom of the lake, and we have therefore decided to award mark out of fifty for each of the champions, as follows... Miss Fleur Delacour, though she demonstrated excellent use of the Bubble-Head Charm, was attacked by Grindylows as she approached her goal, and failed to retrieve her hostage. We award her twenty-five points."

Applause comes from the stands.

"Mr Cedric Diggory, who also used the Bubble-Head Charm was first to return with his hostage, we therefore award him forty-seven points." Even more cheers came from the stands the loudest being from his fellow Hufflepuffs.

"Mr Viktor Krum used an incomplete form of transfiguration, which was nevertheless effective and was second to return with hostage. We award him forty points." Bagman announced, we another round of applause and Karkaroff looking very pleased.

I lean into Fred for more comfort as I was freezing.

"Mr Harry Potter used Gillyweed to grey effect, he returned last. However, the mer-chieftainsss informs us that the delay in his return was due to his determination to return all hostages to safety, not merely his own. Most of the judges, feel that this shows moral fibre and merits full marks. However... Mr Potter score is forty-five." Bagman announced.

The announcement made everyone cheer in the stands and everyone started talking when Bagmans voice once took over, "the third and final task will take place at dusk on the twenty-fourth of June, the champions will be notified of what is coming, precisely one month beforehand."

I walked back to my friends with Fred and was getting lectures off of them for being stupid and reckless.

"Seriously y/n out of all of us I wouldn't of thought you would be the one to do something that stupid." Alicia tells me as walk up to the castle.

"Warm shower and dry clothes as soon as we get in." Fred tells me.

"Yes, dad." I say mockingly.

"Seriously you are going to get ill." Melody says.

"I'm fine and I will be fine." I say reassuringly.

We walk back into the castle and I go and have a warm shower than putting on some dry clothes as everyone starts to get ready for the after party which we were all excited for.

"I'm not drinking tonight." I tell Melody, "I'll let Fred drink for once he always looks after me.

"You not drinking? That's a first." Alicia says walking into the conversation.

"I feel like today is full of firsts for me, jumping into a lake fully clothed, get a good ten lectures off of everyone that I could of died so yes no drinking for me." I tell them both as we make our way down the stairs to celebrate Harry's victory.

We party the night away well everyone else but me I'm currently trying to get Fred up the stairs with an equally as drunk George who wasn't really helping.

"Almost there." I say groaning, this boy was so heavy, where he is so tall and had muscles that were quite defined.

I open the door
