(Nico's pov)

Things really got better. Slowly first, but they really did.
At first Arizona was horrible. Everything was horrible. But my school was so big that no one noticed me.

My father was working most of the time.

I saw Will almost every weekend. He didn't leave me, I didn't run away, we had each other. All cheesy like this.
It got better.

Dad met a woman, they started going out. She calmed him down. He even tried to apologize to me, but that wasn't the point.
I never talked about him to anyone than Will. I stopped talking about him and to him.
Maybe I'll regret this one day, but life isn't about everything being perfect.

After we finished school Will and I went to the same college. He wants to study medicine, I'm here for three years now and still don't really know what I want to do with my life.
At the moment I consider becoming a teacher, but I don't really know.

But talking about life, that is, now, pretty beautiful.
Not perfect, far from perfect, but not lonely anymore and less painful. Will said things will get better and they did.

That's the reason I want to be a teacher, though.
Because when I was younger I really could have needed someone to teach me that life is, in fact, a beautiful thing.
