I woke up bright and early the next morning, like I always do unfortunately. Being a morning person is great and all but sometimes I want to just sleep in and relax.

Today was not one of those days though. I needed to get Meoria up and take her by her school to pick up her school work before heading over to Bey's house so we could get her a tutor for the tour.

I decided on getting myself ready before going to wake her up. I took my time doing my skin and bath care before putting on my under garages and robe and venturing out of my room.

I walked a little ways down the hall until I came to the room Meoria was sleeping in. I knocked on the door lightly and waited a few seconds before cracking it open to see her still sleeping and  spread out in the bed.

I smiled lightly before walking in and sitting next to her. I began gently rubbing her back before speaking, trying to wake her up carefully so I didn't scare her.

"Meoria, it's time to get up sweetie." I said once she started stirring. She opened her eyes slowly and blinked a few times before looking up at me with a tired smile.

"Morning Ms. Michelle." She said as she stretched out, being cautious not to accidentally hit me, before sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"We got things to do today sweet pea. I'm gonna get started on breakfast while you get ready okay?" I said making her nod as she covered her mouth to yawn.

"Got it. Do you have a flat iron or something I can use for my hair?" She asked making me stand up from the bed.

"Yeah, I'll go get it for you. You need heat protectant?" I asked making her shake her head.

"Nah, I'm bout to throw on a wig." She said as she got out of the bed and stretched some more.

"Oh Lord, it's not a crazy color is it?" I asked playfully.

"Not today, maybe tomorrow." She responded cheekily which made me laugh as I left her room to get the flat iron from mine.

Once I had it I went back and gave it to her before heading downstairs and letting her get ready.

I went straight into the kitchen and the first thing I did was make a pot of coffee. While that was brewing I decided on make pancakes, eggs and bacon so I got all my ingredients and pans out before starting on the meal. It only took me about twenty minutes to make everything, while having my coffee of course, so once I was done I jogged back up the stairs to get dressed myself.

"Food's ready and on the stove Meoria!" I called out as I went into my room.

"Okay! Be down in like ten minutes!" She shouted back as I changed into my outfit for the day. Since I had already done my hair and makeup the only thing I need to add was jewelry and change out my purse for the day.

Once I was done I grabbed all my things and headed downstairs to have a quick bite to eat as I waited on Meoria.

She came down about five minutes after me, smoothing her shirt out of any wrinkles it might have.

"Is this shirt okay or should I change it? Mari cut it and it feels too short on me." She said causing me to look over at her.

"You got your whole belly out girl!" I said with a laugh as I looked at her outfit.

"But I think you look good. What does your tattoo mean?" I asked as she walked over and set her bag next to mine.

"It's Latin, it means God Willing." She said as she made a small plate of food. She silently prayed over it before she started eating while doing a little dance.

"You're always dancing." I pointed out making her smile as she chewed.

"I couldn't stop if I tried. It's in my blood." She answered once she had finished her food. She took both of our plates and loaded them in the dishwasher before grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge.

"I know that's right. Now let's get on this road, we have to meet Bey around noon so we can get you a tutor for the tour." I said as we both grabbed our bags and headed to the garage door.

"In all honesty, I might not even need one. All my classes are easy." She said was I unlocked my car doors and opened the garage door.

"Well we'll get on to be on standby if you ever need any help." I compromised making her nod as we got in the car.

I let her play her music as we drove to her school. Her playlist consisted of Jill Scott, Jhene Aiko, Ari Lennox, Kindred the Family Soul, Floetry and Destiny's Child of course. A young girl with an older soul to say the least.

"We gotta sing this part together! Come on Ms Michelle!" She said as she turned the radio up a little as my part of Cater 2 U was coming up. I laughed before complying and singing along with her.

"Ahh! I just sang with Michelle Williams to Michelle Williams!!" She squealed excitedly before playfully passing out.

"Get up silly! We're here." I said as I nudged her shoulder with a laugh. I parked the car and turned the music down before cutting my engine.

We got out of the car and walked, well Meoria skipped, to the entrance of the school. She opened the door for me before coming in behind me and leading me to the front office.

She knocked on the door in a specific pattern before it buzzed open and we walked in.

"Now why are you late today? Are why are you out of dress code?" The lady behind the desk asked as soon as Meoria walked in.

"I'm just here to get my work for the rest of the year Ms. G! I'm going on tour with Beyoncé!!" Meoria said excitedly making the secretary beam with joy.

"I told you it would happen puddin'! Was running around here worried for nothing!" She said as I finally stepped into her view.

"And you got your fave with you! You winning huh girl?" She said making Meoria nod rapidly as I laughed.

"Hi, how are you today?" I asked making her smile.

"I'm doing lovely Ms. Williams, how are you? She keeping you on your toes?" She asked making me nod.

"She definitely is, but I'm enjoying it. Is all her school work ready or should we come back later?" I asked making her shake her head.

"I can get it up here in a few minutes. Just let me call all of her teachers and let them know she needs her work."

"Can you call and I just go get it myself? I need to check on Mari really quick if that's okay." Meoria butted in softly making us glance at her before nodding.

"Go ahead sweet pea, I'll wait here for you." I said as she smiled.

"Kaysies! Be back in ten." She said before taking a visitors pass and skipping out of the front office.

"Lord, my mornings are gonna be so dull without her here." Ms. G said with a sad smile as she watched Meoria skip away on the security cameras.

"And mine are alot more colorful. My journey into 'motherhood' is starting with a teenager." I chuckled as I sat down.

"Oh so you're her guardian for the tour?" She asked making me nod.

"Yeah, unfortunately Beyoncé would have gotten denied so I applied on her behalf since I'm traveling with her anyway. Just helping my sister out." I answered as my phone rang.

"Speaking of sisters. Can you tell Meoria I'll be by the car when she comes back?" I asked as I stood up and answered the phone.

Ms. G nodded and I mouthed 'Thank you' as I walked out of the office and put the phone to my ear.

"Well good morning sunshine! Nice to see you up before noon." I said making Bey groan.

"Haha, very funny Mimi. Are you guys on the way?" She asked, tiredness laced within her voice.

"Not yet, we're getting her school work right now and will be on our way after that." I said as I walked out of the building and over to my car.

"Okay good cause this kids are being the literal spawn of Satan right now and I haven't even had any coffee yet." She sighed making me laugh.

"Well get yourself together and get some coffee in you, we'll be there within an hour." I said making her hum.

"Alright see you soon. Byeee." She dragged out.

"Byeeee." I mocked with a laugh before hanging up and unlocking my car doors. I set my purse inside on my seat as my phone began ringing again.

I saw it was Kelly so I answered and put it on speaker.

"Good morning Mimi!! How are you doing today?" She said immediately after I answered.

"I'm not too bad, how are you this morning Kells?" I asked.

"I'm good, I was just calling to see when you were going over to Bey's place. Solo and I are trying to come over and meet Ms. Meoria." She said making me laugh.

"Of course you are. We're getting her school work now but we'll be at Bey's house within an hour, maybe hour and a half." I responded making her squeal.

"Perfect! We'll meet you there, sounds cool?" She asked making me shake my head.

"Sounds fine to me. See you soon. Muahh." I said blowing her a kiss through the phone that she reciprocated.

After we hung up I saw Meoria coming out with a hefty stack of papers and I laughed at the expression on her face.

"It's not funny! There's only three more months of school left, why do I have so much stuff?!" She cried as she walked over to the car.

"You gotta think about all the tests you're missing and finals honey. I say knock it all out as soon as possible so you don't have to worry about it." I said as she set her papers in the backseat.

"I guess that's true. So, off to Beyoncé's house?" She asked excitedly, completely forgetting about her work.

"Yes, that's our next stop. Kelly and Solange are planning on coming over to meet you." I said making her scream and jump around in excitement.

"I'm about to be in the same room as DC3!! Lord take me now!!" She said before laying across the hood of my car.

"Girl come on!" I laughed as I got in the car. She quickly did the same, putting her seatbelt and bouncing in her seat lightly.

"Oh God, I hope I don't wake up tomorrow and this is all a dream." She huffed out.

"Not a dream sweetheart, it's really happening." I reassured her as I started the car once again.

"Well whether it be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare, either way I don't wanna wake up." She said making me laugh at her reference.

"Okay song reference! You ate that." I said as I started the long drive to Bey's house.

"A lil something slight. Calm little nibble." She replied making me laugh more.

"You are a trip!"
