Millie's pov

I had agreed with Finn that he could stay at my place for one night, but we had to wait until my parents had fallen asleep or else they would start asking questions. So I took him to a place I knew no one would recognize him, it was the bowling hall. The only ones who came here was grandmas and grandpas, or couples that were on a date and adults. Not really any at our age that would recognize him. He was really good at bowling, better than I expected him to be. We had a lot of fun together while we played, we sometimes teased each other when we didn't do good. We played for what felt like hours until we decided to take a break.

"so i'm guessing bowling isn't so popular around here?" he asked me while he was looking around at the bowling hall and only saw a few people.

"yeah, definitely not. it's...uh,  why I like it here" I told him and laughed nervously.

"what do you mean?" he asked me looking at me curious and waiting for me to answer.

"it's just nice to have someplace to get away. You know? Some place that's just yours. Don't have to deal with people and all their stuff" I answered him while I lite out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"alright I can feel that." He told me.

"so what about you? what do you like to do for fun?" I asked Finn

"I don't know, video games, I guess. You know, I'm mostly working so I don't get to go out much." he answered looking really disappointed and sad when he said that.

"how is that possible?" I asked him while I chuckled and he just looked at me confused.

"I mean, you're a celebrity" I told him like it was obvious that he could go and do whatever he wanted.

"so?" he asked me still looking confused.

"So, I'm pretty sure that means that you can do whatever you want" I answered.

"It's not as easy as it looks, trust me." He told me.

"come on, it really can't be that bad" I said thinking that anyone would do anything to have the life he has, to be as famous as him.

"all right, it's not necessarily bad, just... I don't know, I started performing when I was really young. Singing, auditioning, taking classes. I had a manager when I was eight. So that doesn't really leave time for me to do, you know, normal stuff:" He explained for me.

"right" was all I could say without sounding like I felt bad for him.

"well, did you want to do all that, or were you like, forced into it?" I asked him while he was looking down at his plate with fries.

"No, I wanted it, like i definitely wanted it. And you know, my mom was a little reluctant at first, but I practically begged her every single day, and she eventually made it happen for me." He explained trying to look like that was what he still wanted but he still looked a little sad.

"well, that's nice, that she cared that much" I told him, I wish my parents would be that supportive of me.

"yeah, my career is her whole life. So I can never really complain. You know? I'm the kid that's gotten everything he's ever wanted. You know, not many people can say that" he said and sighed.

"yeah, that's for sure" I told him and chuckled a little. There was silence for a little while until he spoke up again.

"enough about me, thought. What about you?" He asked me.

"what about me?" I asked him getting a little confused.

"I mean, all I know is that you're in high school, you live with your parents, and deliver pizza" he told me.

"oh, don't forget about all the bowling." I joked with him and pointed at the bowling area.

"Ah! yes. Never forget about the bowling," He said and laughed which made me laugh too.

"But seriously, what's your story?" he asked me getting a serious face.

"I don't have a story" I simply told him.

"Oh, come on, everybody has a story" He said while he rolled his eyes at me for saying that I didn't have one.

"Not really. no." I said while shaking my head.

"um..family?" he asked

"two parents, only child."

"Friends?"

"well, I'm in high school. so...unless I want to get wasted every weekend and see how many guys I can hook up with, yeah, um, my options are pretty limited." I told him and we both chuckled.

"okay. um. oh. movie?  favorite movie?" he asked and I could tell he was getting nervous for some weird reason.

"I prefer reading."

"okay, favorite book?"

"Who can pick one?"

"Oh, my god. Now you're just being stubborn." he told me and chuckled.

"No. not really. Look, not everyone started working when they were eight. It's...it's great that you have it all figured it out for yourself, but don't assume everyone else does." I told him and looked down at my milkshake trying not to look sad and shake that feeling away.

"Nobody has it all figured it out, belive me." After he said that he looked away and I couldn't help myself but look at him and being little confused about what he ment with that.

after our conversation we decided to go home because it was pretty late. When we were in the car he couldn't stop starring at me and whenever I turned my head to face him he just smiled which made me smile. We finally arrived and I knew my parents would be asleep by now. When we arrived I told him to go to my window while I went by the front door just in case if my parents would be awake still but they weren't so I went to my room and opened the window for him and he climbed in.

Finn's pov

I looked around her room and I saw a lot of different drawings on her wall and on her desk, she was really talented and her room was pretty cute and way different than I expected it to be. I opened my mouth and all that came out was...

"Woah..."

"This is awesome, is this yours?" I asked  her while I was looking at the art.

"uh...yeah" she said and blushed, she looked really cute when she was blushing.

"Okay, I am impressed" I told her still looking at her art.

"It's really not that good."

"oh, come on."
"I'm still working on it." she told me.

"What do you mean, you don't have a story?" I asked her.

"I don't know, you know what it's like to put your art out there." She told me.

"I do not make art"

"let me just grab you a blanket and a pillow" she told me and went to her closet and took out the stuff I needed.

"So is this what you want to do?" I asked her.

"uhm, yeah. I got accepted to a bunch of art schools. It's not cheap. I've been saving forever, but I still need scholarship, which is kinda complicated" she answered me.

"uh, i need to get changed" she told me and looked a little uncomfortable.

"yeah, right. I'll just turn around" I told her and turned so that I was facing the wall.

"uh, no. You can go in there" she said pointing at her closet.

"that works too" I said while I was making my way to the closet and shut the door.

"wow, nice closet" I told her while I was still in there in the dark and I could hear her laugh from the other side of the door.

"Sorry, I've never had a boy in my room before, okay? let alone a celebrity. It's kind of weird" she apologised.

"well congrats on having a new life life experience" I joked with her.

"Okay, you can come out now." she demanded, so I did as I was told.

she went to her bed and laid down while I made myself comfortable on the floor. We laid like that a couple of minutes and I tried so hard to sleep but I couldn't.

"hey, you awake?" I asked her, hoping that she hadn't fallen asleep yet.

"yeah, what's wrong" she asked me.

"Nothing" I said because to be honest I just wanted to hear her voice before falling asleep. And that's what we did. We both fell asleep.
