Calum had given me the best date of my entire life.

I don't know how long we had sat on that beach, my head on his shoulder, his eyes on me.

eventually, we threw away our trash and kicked our shoes and socks off.

i ran out to the shore line, letting the water lap up on my feet.

it was getting cooler as the sun went down.

Calum pulled his shirt off and rolled his jeans up to his knees, wading in the water with me.

he grabbed my waist, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"Calum!" I squealed, slapping his back.

he started going deeper until he was up to his waist.

he sat me down, the water reaching just above my belly button.

I held onto his toned arms, my fingers skimming over his tattoos.

his hands were planted on my hips, pulling me closer.

my hands made their way around his neck, his smooth hairless skin remaining warm.

he looked into my eyes, biting his lip.

god, his lip bite.

I couldn't do anything as he lifted me, putting my legs around his waist, supporting me by my butt.

he looked at me one more time before moving closer to my mouth.

his warm lips lightly pressed onto mine, his eyes fluttering shut.

I closed my eyes as well, moving my lips with his.

I dug my fingers into his raven hair, his hands squeezing my thighs and butt.

I put my hands on his face, feeling just a tiny bit of stubble around his ears and jawline.

the kiss became more needy as Calum tried to press our bodies closer.

he licked my bottom lip, asking permission for access to my mouth.

I opened my mouth slightly, letting his tongue into my parted lips.

it felt like heaven as he explored my mouth.

he detached our lips, instead planting them on my jawline and neck, lingering on soft spots.

I threw my head back as he started softly sucking on a soft spot.

little moans escaped my lips as I started digging my nails into his bare back.

he came back up to my lips, kissing them tenderly.

"you are the most beautiful thing to ever walk this earth." he whispered, his eyes glued to mine.

I smiled, burying my face in his neck.

I kissed his neck softly and brought my head back to his, pressing our foreheads together.

"we should get out of this water before we freeze to death." I laughed.

he laughed back and carried me back to the shore.

we picked up our belongings, walking back to his car.

I tried to get the sand off of my feet as best as possible, then got into his car.

he drove me back to my house, coming around to open my door.

"I had a really good time. I look forward to another date." I smiled, kissing his cheek.

"me too. I'll see you later?" he said.

"yea." I smiled once more, walking up to my doorstep.

he got inside his car, waiting for me to safely get inside before driving away.

I walked through my front door, seeing Ashton on the couch, scrolling through his phone.

"mom and dad got your drum kit. it's in your room. how'd the date go?" he said, not even looking up.

"it was magical." I sighed, smiling.

he looked up, smiling, then puffed his cheeks in an attempt to hold back laughter.

"what?" I asked, knitting my brows together.

"you better hide your neck from dad." Ashton giggled.

my hand flew to the spot Calum had sucked on, my eyes going wide.

"do I have a hickey?" I mouthed to Ashton.

he nodded and started to laugh.

my cheeks grew hot as I ran up to my room and tried to hide it with my hair.

I sighed in relief after I had it well hidden behind one of my curls.

I smiled when I saw my drum set in a vacant corner of my room.

I would definitely be testing that out later.

I took my clothes off, tossing them in my hamper, grabbing a pair of underwear and some nike shorts plus a sports bra.

I went into my bathroom, started the water for my shower and put my clothes on the sink counter.

I got into my shower, letting the water run down my body and soak my hair.

unfortunately, it was hair washing day, so I took my shampoo and washed my big mop of curly hair, making sure to rinse it thoroughly.

after I had washed my hair, I put conditioner in it, letting it sit while I washed my body and shaved my legs.

after doing all of that, I rinsed out my hair and turned the shower head off.

I dried off, leaving my hair down and wet, then changed into my clothes.

I sighed as I turned on my fan and turned out my lights, crawling underneath my covers, and grabbing my phone.

I pushed the home button, lighting up my lock screen.

1 unread message.

I slid the notification over, bringing up the keypad for my phone password.

I typed it in, 5767.

I saw the message was from Calum, so I clicked on our conversation.

i laughed at his concern and typed a message back.

to calum🐒 :: yes, Calum. you watched me walk inside ;P

from calum🐒 :: okay, I'm just making sure.

to calum🐒 :: so um, how long do hickeys usually last?

from calum🐒 :: ooh shit. sorry :( uhh, like a day or so?

to calum🐒 :: it's okay, I was just curious haha it's really no big deal. is it normal for it to hurt a little?

I face palmed at my awkwardness.

from calum🐒 :: yes I know. you should probably go to bed and so should I. text you in the morning?

I smiled and plugged my phone into it's charger, putting my head on my pillow.

I closed my eyes and went to sleep with Calum and his amazing kissing skills in my mind.

this is more of a filler chapter than an important one, but this is most likely only going to have like eight chapters + an epilogue
