Audrey's POV

''It's no bother text us your address and we'll let you know when we'll come over, bye.''

''Wait Jo-'' he hangs up on me. I can't have them in my house! Oh no just no...

''Who was that?'' Parker asked taking a drink from his soda. On the way home both D.J and Vanessa insisted they were hungry and forced Jacob to stop by McDonalds to take on the go taking the chance I went ahead to bathroom.

''Someone,'' The last thing I wanted was to explain to Parker that some guy had my tank top. I wasn't even hungry and I'm saving the little appetite I have to eat with mom.

''He sounded angry?'' He opened the door for Vanessa to get in who came back with her order and D.J's.

''That's just Ricky being Ricky. He's a very confusing person...'' Tucking a loose strand behind my ear I start to toss my phone back in forth between my hands trying to catch it.

''What do you mean?'' Taking a bite off his fry he had offered I shook my head.

Leaning my head on the window I start to feel sleepy once again, ''Well he can be rude and snappy, but he's also very caring. It's funny actually how he tries to act all tough, but you can tell that he's enjoying himself. He would sometimes turn around so we can't see his face but you can still see his lip curl into a smile, its cute.'' I turn back to look at Parker after waiting for a response he just looked at me with no expression just blank eyes.

He just shook his head and looked up straight ''You think he's cute?''

''What..''

''You just said he was cute?''

I dropped my phone, ''No I didn't!'' Trying to keep making eye contact with Parker as I look for my phone with one hand.

''Oh yes you did..'' D.J yelled from the back seat. Finally I find my phone next to what felt as popcorn.

''D.J do you even know what were talking about?'' I get up and turn to look at him.

He took bite of the burger and swallowed, '' Well no but you seem nervous which means you did do, what you said you didn't do, so by you saying no means yes meaning you did!'' He then made an explosion sound, ''I'm a genius I tell you.''

''Did I really say that?'' I couldn't? Well I mean Ricky isn't ugly or anything, but I just don't say things like that out loud. Parker nodded and D.J agreed. ''Uh well I must have meant cute as puppy cute, not as cute cute...''

''Right puppy cute?'' Parker chuckled.

Dropping me off first I say goodbye and thanks to Jacob and Parker before closing the door. The porch light was on and the door creaked open the closer I got. Mom was waiting for me with a big smile on her face giving me a tight hug as soon as I got a foot away from her.

''How was it?'' She asks as I wave bye then closing the door.

''Hot, but it was fun.'' I jumped on the couch kicking my shoes off. ''Uhg my legs hurt.''

''Oh Jocelyn called wondering where you were and why you weren't answering.''

''My phone died after Ricky called,''I see a bowl of chips on the coffee table and reach for it.

Mom moved my legs up so she could sit down then set then back down, ''What did he need?''

''I'll tell you at dinner,'' Taking a bite I look at the Tv feeling my eyes grow heavy. ''I should go take a long cool shower and charge my phone to see what Jos needs.'' Taking a while I finally push myself back up stroll up to my room ever so lazy.

''Okay, just make it quick so we can eat!'' She yells followed by her turning up the Tv's volume. Once in my room I get my pijamas and plug my phone then walk to the bathroom. Locking the door I turn the water on and wait for it to be a good temperature before stepping inside. My head stills hurts but it seems to ease the longer I'm under the water.

For a moment I just stood there under the water looking at the water drain. I wiggle my toes and I got melancholic. Taking the shampoo I start to massage my hair and drop the bottle while I was putting it back. Maybe it was because I was tired but my eyes started to tear up for no reason. Washing the shampoo off my hair I turn the water off and reached for the towel.

By now my eyes are bright red with tears streaming down my face. I feel so stupid and ridiculous for crying for no reason. Slowly I get dressed not wanting to do anything but to just lay in bed.

Taking in deep breaths to cool down I use my finger to draw a smiley face on the mirror. Taking my towel and dumping the dirty clothes on the basket I roll up my hair with the towel and open my door. Lazily I walk to my bed and hug the pillow before laying down looking up at the plain white ceiling, as I'm about to close my eyes I hear my phone vibrate on the stand.

Groaning I let go of the pillow and reach for my phone to see I have six missed calls and twenty messages from Jocelyn. Taping the green phone I wait for two rings before she answers, ''Hey you-''

''Where have you been?! I'm suffering a dilemma and my best friend isn't answering her fudging phone!'' I take the phone off speaker, my poor ears.

''Wow calm down, sorry my phone died! What's wrong?''

''I'm so going to die! Oh my poor little heart!'' My eyes went wide with worry.

''What's wrong with your heart?!''

''Audrey it's sold out!'' I hear her suck in her breath as if she was crying.

''Wait a minute, so your heart is medically fine?''

''Uh well you could say so, but Audrey it's sold out! I'm not going to see my babies!'' Her voice got high pitched followed by sniffing.

''Is that it? Jos I thought something was really wrong you! Don't worry me like that for God's sake.''

''What do you mean 'is that it?'! Well of course it's nothing for you. Audrey you spent a whole week with them, but unlike you I haven't even talked to my future soul mate! This was going to be my chance to see my Jon and, and now I-I wont see him!'' More crying.

''Jos I'm sorry that it's all sold out. I'm sure you'll meet Jon one day.''

Their was a scream on the other line, ''You can help me! A-audrey pretty please... I need to meet him.'' The way her voice cracked broke my heart.

''What can I do? Call them and say 'Hey guys so my friend that's obsessed with Jon doesn't have a ticket for one of your concerts can you please let her in?' ''

''Yes, but leave out the obsessed part. I don't want them to think one of those crazy fangirls.''

''But Jos you are a crazy fangirl...''

''They don't need to know that, do they? So will you help your best friend, your sister?''

''I- I'll tell you what they say.'' I mean, it didn't hurt to try, right?

She gasped and you could clearly hear her bed squeak from her most likely jumping on it. ''Thank you so very much! Jon here I come! Oh and if it's not too much to ask can I get front row, with backstage passes.''

''Jos we have to see if they'll want to in the first place?''

''I'm sure they'll say yes! Their all such sweethearts they have to let a fan in.''

''Eh maybe...''

''Okay that my crisis is dealt with how you been?''

''Well we went to six flag with...'' Telling her a short summery of what happened at the park I skip the whole Ricky taking my tank top. By now mom has called me down 3 times, but Jocelyn won't hang up. ''Jos I'm hanging up...''

''Wait no I need to know more about this Parker guy?''

''Bye Jos.'' Before she could say anything I hand up on her and see that my phone is as a hundred I unplug it and take it down with me.

''Sorry Jos wouldn't shut up.'' I sit down and reach for the fork.

''I actually miss her dropping to the house uninvited and eating our food. So what did she want?''

''She just wanted me to call the guys to see if she could get in a sold out concert. Oh and before I forget Ricky is coming over to drop off a tank top of mine he took by mistake.'' I look down not wanting to make eye contact with her.

''How did he even get a hold of your clothes?'' She gasped, ''Audrey tell me you didn't! You're in big trouble young lady!''

I looked up at her in confusion, ''What didn't I do?'' She crossed her arms and looked at me up and down. That when I realized what she meant. ''Mom we had separate rooms! How can you think of Ricky and I doing... that. I would never I promise. Look I don't know how maybe I left it as his place when we recorded or he took it, I don't know?''

She nodded biting her lip, ''Okay, I trust you, and I hope whenever you're ready you'll tell me. If its with Ricky or with someone else.'' I could feel my cheeks turning red in embarrassment

''Mom me and Ricky are nothing, nada, so when he comes don't saying anything like that.''

''I'll try.'' She laughed blowing me a kiss.

''Mom...''

Its been around 4 days since he called me and no news of when they were coming. Parker came over to help me study and organize my essay for the test tomorrow. By now we were just watching Tv and arguing over The Bachelor. I how no idea how we ended up watching this, but we did and now we're discussing over who's the biggest fake?

Its eight and mom was barely on her way home. I told Parker to go home, but he said he'd wait till she home gets home so I wouldn't be alone. "Really I'll be okay she'll be here in ten minutes,''

''We'll a lot can happen in ten minutes. What if you get robbed?''

''Yeah that's not very likely and if people do come it I'll hit them with pan like in the movies.''

He laughed, ''From what I've seen, you don't really have arm strength, so your hit wouldn't be hard enough which would cause the robbers to get mad and kill you, then what?''

''Then I'm dead unless I come back as a ghost, but whoever said I don't have arm strength hasn't seen me in gym class.'' I turn back to the Tv to see who got the next rose, and as expected he went for the corny smile fake one.

''Doesn't D.J have gym with you?'' he looked up, ''Aha told you he was going to choose her!''

''Oh shut it and yes he does,''

''He told me you can't do push-ups...''

''Okay I did 16, which is above average for a girl, I mean yes my arms were shaking, but I managed.'' I shrugged hearing the door open and close. ''Oh mom is here.''

''Audrey I'm not hungry for dinn-'' She stop ger tracks as soon as she saw Parker. ''You must be Parker.''

''Yes ma'am nice meeting you but I should get going now,'' He raised his hand to shake mom's show just forced a smile. ''Uh bye Audrey see you tomorrow.'' He waved goodbye before the sound of the door closing told us he finally left the house.

''Hey mom didn't you use to like the Bachelor?'' I went back to the coffee table and started packing my book and papers.

There was silence for a while, ''Yeah I lost interest in it a long time ago...'' Her tone was dull each word having no meaning behind it. ''Have you ate?''

Stopping myself from saying no I remember her saying she wasn't hungry, ''Yeah Parker and I went out for pizza.'' If she wasn't going to eat neither was I. I didn't want to make myself something and eat it alone at the kitchen again.

''Oh yum pizza,'' She tried to exited, but by her posture you can tell she just wanted to be alone. ''Hun I'm taking a shower.''

''Oh uhm mom I think I should go to sleep so I'll be in my room,'' I zip up my bag and carry it so it can be near the door.

''But it's only 8:30?'' She checked her watch making me bite my lip.

"I have a test tomorrow and I have to wake up extra early because... Vanessa wants to drop by Starbucks before hand.'' I could tell she wasn't buying it, but she didn't question it either.

''Oh okay then goodnight,'' She kissed my forehead before I left her in the living room and went back to my room. Letting out a big breath I jumped on my bed. She's back to acting distant and just sad after a whole week of being her normal self. I wonder if she got a call about my dad and Andi? Shaking my head I try to not think about them, I don't want to cry again.
