WALKING OUT OF THE T-REX EXHIBT, Gray was still in amazement of the content he was just fed. Tatum chuckled at the pre-teen, noticing his chipper state as the trio began walking towards the monorail where it would lead them to their next destination.

Tatum took her last sip of the frozen hot chocolate she was keeping close, before throwing it hastily into a trash can. Her steps were quick next to Zach, as they hadn't spoken to one another since Tate found out that he had a girlfriend β€” one he seemed willing to cheat on.

Silence took over the two as Gray jumped ahead β€” not too far, though. Tate side-eyed him, noticing his nervous attitude. He would hesitantly open his mouth, trying to find the words to say, but would shut it after a minute of thinking. Tatum sighed at the discomfort of the silence. Zach was a sweet guy, but she knew nothing about him. This boy would be staying for a week or two, max. There was no need to start a quickly finishing 'fling'.

"Zach," Tatum spoke up, looking over at the boy who was surprised by her voice. "How old are you?" She asked, as he faintly smiled.

"19."

Oh lord.

"Cool." Tate nodded her head, fiddling with the silver rings on her fingers.

"You?"

"20." She told, looking up at the boy whose smile grew at the confession.

"So, I have a chance?"

This surprised Tate. "A chance? Don't you have a girlfriend?"

Zach shrugged. "She's a close friend."

"I have a feeling that isn't true." Tate clicked her tongue, giving him a suggestive look. Zach sighed, pulling her to a stop as he noticed Gray stand in the long line for the monorail. Zach scratched the back of his neck nervously, looking around.

"Listen," He started, looking down at Tatum's questioning stare. "Her and I haven't even been together a month. She's always putting this pressure on me, you know? I was planning on breaking up with her when I got home, anyways."

Tate sighed, shifting her weight. "That's good to know." She said, slowly nodding her head. "Because your kind of a dick, Zach. Doesn't matter how long you two have been together, you're still in a relationship. You're an adult, so act like one." She then patted his chest gently, before joining Gray. Zach stood stunned, staring at the blonde. This was new for Zach, as girls at home usually fell for him with a simple glance. It was shocking to Zach that Tatum was so keen on making it clear that he didn't have a chance, and it just bruised his ego more. But then again, it made her even more attractive to him.

As the trio were about to step onto the monorail for the doors to close, Tate's phone began to ring. She ushered the boys to seats, before making her way to the front of the monorail to take the call. "Hello?" She said in a hushed tone, not wanting to be too loud.

"Tate," The voice of Owen Grady was heard through the speakers, making a smile come onto her face. "Where are you right now?" He asked in a rushed voice, making Tatum slightly worry.

"I'm with Clarie's nephews, why?"

"Shit." He cursed.

"Wha- why? What's wrong?"

"The new dinosaur." He started, slowly with caution. Tate's eyebrows furrowed, becoming nervous all of a sudden. "It got out."

A gasp escaped Tate's mouth, looking around the monorail in worry. "How? I was just there an hour ago. Everything was fine."

"We think she climbed out. There are claw marks on the east wall. Clarie is headed to the parks security office to see if they can find her in the cameras. I'm being sent in with a few other men to see if we can find any sign of a way she could've gotten out any other way." Owen informed Tate, as her nerves spiked high.

"I- ok. I'm going to try to get there as soon as I can."

"Take your time, kid. I'll let you know if I hear anything else." And with that, Owen hung up hastily. Tate let out a shaky breath, pushing her hair back as she made her way back to Zach and Gray. She noticed an awkward tension between them but decided not to say anything as Zach scooted over for her to sit in the middle. She gave him a thankful smile, gladly sitting down.

Her knee bounced anxiously at the news she had just received but decided to try and focus on taking care of Clarie's nephews instead. She was thankful that the ride was quick, everyone shuffling out towards the line for the gyrosphere. Tate was quick to pull out her employee pass, guiding the boys with her to Matty, the gyrosphere operator.

"Hi Matty." Tate grinned, putting a pep in her step. He gave her a smile, before his eyes landed on Zach and Gray.

"Who are they?" Matty's eyes trailed up and down Zach with a nasty glare, making Tate giggle.

"Clarie's nephews. Mind if we go on?" She pointed to the gyrosphere that would only seat two, but luckily, she knew she could fit in the middle.

Matty gave her a look, before sighing. He opened the gate for the three, making her give him a grateful smile. "Thanks, Matty. I'll catch you later." She winked, before shuffling the boys inside. They obliged, quickly shutting the door once Tate entered. "Buckle up, boys." She commanded as they did so.

The ride throughout the fields filled with Triceratops, Ankylosaur, Parasaurolophus and Brontosaur was going successful. This was always one of Tatum's favorite activity's, driving through the fields and vet checking these Dino's. She had never seen it from inside a gyrosphere, though. But she couldn't complain.

The boys and her sat back in amazement, taking in the sight, before Tatum's phone started to ring again. A sigh left her lips, swiping her thumb to answer. "Hello?" She said quietly, not wanting the boys to hear much.

"T- Ta-" The phone's signal broke up, making her eyebrows furrow. She peered her ear away quickly, looking up to see she was only on one bar.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" She asked, pressing her index finger to her other ear to try and hear clearer.

"Sh- she I-s head-headed for t-the pa-rk." The phone line cracked, as Tatum's heartbeat skipped.

"O-Owen? Can you hear me? Hello?" Her voice raised, as Gray and Zach looked down at her in worry. As if it was on cue, an alert popped up on the gyrosphere screen, revealing that the ride is closed. "Shit!" She cursed, hanging up her phone quickly. "We need to head back, now." She harshly spoke, as Gray frowned and Zach shook his head.

"N-no. Can't we just stay out for a few more minutes?" Zach asked with a puppy dog eyed look, making Tate huff. "No, not really. Something is happening, guys. I need to go check on the dinβ€”" Just as she was about to finish, Zach's phone began to ring. He pulled it out quickly, revealing Clarie, who was calling him.

"Hey, Clarie." He answered, looking at Tate with a faint smile as she scowled. Tatum and Gray could hear the faint sound of the aunt, who sounded relieved to hear from her nephews. "Yeah, I can't really hear you we're in the hamster ball."

"Gyrosphere." Tatum corrected, as Zach gave her a look. "Huh?"

"It's a damn gyrosphere." She grumbled, sitting back and crossing her arms. Before Zach could say anything else to his aunt, all connection was lost. He sighed, putting his phone back into his pocket. Tate huffed angerly, annoyed that they won't listen to her. "I really think we should go back. It sounds like an emergency." Tate said, trying to not give off that she was scared shitless on the fact that there was a highly intelligent dinosaur roaming the island.

Zach waved her off, "Live a little, Tate. We'll be fine." The girl pinched the bridge of her nose, rolling her eyes at the boy as the gyrosphere came to a slow. Tatum peered up, looking at the broken fence in front of her in fear. "What happened here?" Zach asked, looking towards Tatum who looked around franticly.

"I really think we should go back, Zach." She egged on, as he shook his head, intrigued on what the reasoning was for the broken fence.

"Dude. Off road." He looked at Tate and Zach, who shared nervous looks.

"But they said we should go back."

Zach shrugged. "I'm just worried that you're not getting the full Jurassic World experience." Zach cheekily told his brother as he glanced at Tatum, a pleading look crossing his face. Tate knew he was trying to make his brother have an enjoyable time, making her feel quite guilty. She sighed, looking to Gray. "I agree. We'll be fine if we stay out for a few more minutes."

She knew that the dinosaur couldn't have gotten far, hopefully. The walk from her paddock to the valley was a stretch, so Tate let herself calm down and enjoy this time as Zach began to drive the gyrosphere forward.

...

"No, no. Bad idea. Bad idea!" Tatum groaned, jumping up from her slouching position in the sphere as Zach went into a jungle type area of the valley's forest.

"Great idea."

"Horrible idea, you idiot!" She hissed, smacking his arm away from the gearstick β€” but it didn't budge. She glared at him as he chuckled.

"We're gonna get arrested. They'll shave our heads. And we're gonna have to make root beer in the toilet." Gray added.

"Why root beer?" Tatum asked, as Gray and Zach gave her a questioning look. "Why not Dr. Pepper or β€” oh! Cherry coke." She nodded happily, smiling at the two as they rolled their eyes.

"There." Zach stopped the gyrosphere. "See? I told you. You're welcome." He told his brother as they sat in front of a group of Ankylosaur. "Up close and personal with four... dinosauruses."

"Ankylosaur. We shouldn't be here. And there's five dinosaurs, not four." Tatum corrected the boy as he furrowed his eyebrows. "Aren't you supposed to be a dinosaur expert, or something? Look. One, two, three, four." Zach pointed, as Tatum shook her head, looking deeply into the glass.

"Five." Gray muttered, pointing ahead, or more so, into the part of the glass where Tatum was deepening her stare. Suddenly, an eerie growl erupted from behind the trio, making them all slowly turn to face the infamous dinosaur that none of them had seen yet. Tatum wasn't stupid, and she knew damn well what and who exactly this dinosaur was.

"Go, go, go, go, go!" Tatum yelled at Zach, who was too slow as the Indominus Rex shot forward, kicking the gyrosphere around, scaring the Ankylosaurs'. Screams were heard from the sphere as the trio spun around, all holding tightly onto one another.

Tatum's eyes had shut tightly, and when she opened them, the gysphere had come to a stop right in front of an Ankylosaur that was prepared to fight and defend its group. "Drive!" Tatum sneered, pressuring Zach to move as he did so. They didn't make it far β€” as the Ankylosaurs tail swung and hit the sphere, sending it flying back. Tatum clutch onto Zach tightly, him being the only thing she could hold onto.

Her feet tucked under his seat, steadying her as the sphere tipped upside down. The only thing keeping Tate from falling was her body strength β€” and Zach, who kept her close. "Shit." She hissed, watching the Indominus kill the Ankylosaur. Tate's face stuffed into Zach's chest, not wanting to look at the sight.

"W- we're safe in here, right?" Gray asked the two adults, who slowly nodded.

"Yeah. Totally safe."

With that being said β€” almost on cue, Zach's phone began to ring, vibrating against the glass as it had fallen in the tumble. Tatum and Zach gasped, looking at one another as Tate and him tried to reach the phone without her falling.

"Zach. Tate." Gray muttered; his voice shaky.

"We almost got it." Tatum comforted. "Don't worry, Gray. We'll be ok." She said, as Gray urged for them to look up. Slowly doing so, the Indominus stared at them deeply, a deadening look caressing its scales. Tate's hand clutched Zach's, her heartbeat picking up at the speed of lightning. "Don't move."

The boys did as she told, watching like a statue as the Indominus played around with the gyrosphere, sticking a singular claw into the ball, before sinking its teeth into it, trying to break the glass that held the three. Screams were heard from the boy's mouths as Tate looked for a way to escape. She quickly unlatched their seatbelts, allowing them to all fall to the ground as the Indominus continued to try and break through the glass. The trio swiftly stood to solid ground, breaking into an immediate sprint towards God knows where.

A roar was heard from behind them as the Indominus quickly followed through the trees. Tate and Zach looked up, noticing it break through into the small clearing they found. They shared a quick glance, before rushing to Gray and encouraging him to run faster. The three skidded to a stop as their eyes fell onto the body of water below them, a large waterfall cascading down the drop.

"We have to jump." Tatum commanded, as Gray shook his head with fear. The Indominus was gaining speed β€” so Tate quickly grabbed Gray's hand, before nodding at Zach. He sent her a motion back, before the three jumped into the body of water.

The last thing Tate heard was the chomp of the Indominus' mouth, before she was engulfed with the cold water.
